This market is amazing! Especially the meat, I usually brought some lamb ribs and baby goat, very fresh! And I’m so appreciate everyone here is very friendly.

I generally go there for middle eastern food and spices, and bulgur. They also keep various types of Turkish items, specially bulgur. Several varieties of bulgar - coarse, fine, ultra fine grained (which I have rarely seen anywhere else in Bay area).Spices for pulao, pilaf etc. Frozen kababs. The shopkeeper was also very helpful.

Its a Middle Eastern grocery store with meat shop inside. Staff are always good to deal with. The meat is fresh and good quality, specially goat and lamb meat. They have special Arabic, turkish, and middle eastern grocery goods that cant be found in regular department stores. I cant judge the prices yet because I have to compare them with similar places. Good to visit and see for yourself.

Large Store with lots of Middle Eastern items.But attitude towards customers is not welcoming even though they announce “Grand Opening”.Went there with the express purpose of buying Goat Meat. But the attitude of the impolite butcher & the cashier caused us to stop short of buying.Meantime we had picked up $15 of items to buy.We could have left it behind & walked away but being polite we just purchased those items & walked out.Never Again will we shop there.There are plenty of other Butcher Stores on El Camino Real: Sunnyvale & Santa Clara. Would heartily go there in a heartbeat rather than ever step into this store.No point in shopping at a store where the attitude towards the customer is half hearted & unwelcoming. Specially when it comes to shopping for Meat.One looks for a longer term relationship & we just did not see it in this shop.We wish them well & hope their attitude improves.

Great market with a lovely meat counter, lots of fresh cheeses (including halloumi), breads, a huge assortment of olives, spices, and much more.

New, bigger nicer location. Waiting for cooked foods, so will re-rate when they get permit.If you like olives, they have a great selection.

If you have not tried halal meats before, you are really missing out. This is the best lamb and goat in the area. With halal meats, the animal is drained of blood when killed (throat is slit). This keeps the meats much fresher and tender. They are also free range animals and antibiotic free. They do not advertise this, as it is part of what it means to sell halal. Halal means the animals have to be bred and slaughtered strictly in this way.I was raised on this type of meats, and I just cant stomach the lamb in the normal grocer sitting in the blood. Baraka is the best, service is also excellent!

Phenomenal service, well-kempt, tidy and clean store that serves probably the best quality of Halal meat in the area. Extremely friendly folks running the business and they definitely have a lot of respect for their customers. Way to go!!!

Nice shop, only issue is 2 of the 3 times I’ve received ground lamb when I requested ground beef. Not sure what’s going on there.

High-end meat specializing in Korean cuts. The rib-eye was so drool worthy I had them cut steaks. They also offer a selection of garnishment as a bonus, e.g. pickled daikon. In pandemic times, shop is small, but lots of ventilation.

You get lavash bread and all kinds of spices. Pepper especially.Chicken and mutton are always fresh . Except very few days . And the person selling is truthful anout it. He even says when to come and take . Awesome service.You get all kinds of tinned vegetables and beans, i even saw beetroot pickle. Looked very promising, if any one tries, do let me know.

Good place to buy chicken and goat. But they are still charging extra for credit card payments under $10 during covid, while most of the other places who had similar restrictions have relaxed it to encourage contactless transactions.

If you want to get good goat or lamb meat, try this place. If you are planning to get around 5 lbs, you can pick and choose the cut you want unlike in most other places where you get pieces which are already cut.

I am not so sure where and how this place ended up getting a 4.5-star rating!I have been here twice, to support a small business, but the food quality was very low. I noticed he even microwaved the rice ordered.The entire operation often times is run by a single employee who is most likely hired at minimum wage. The frugal owner has all the refrigerator lights shut off to save money! You would NEVER see such an undertaking by an American store/owner!I was there a month ago, ordered a meal which took several minutes to prepare, because he had to ring me up, then walk to kitchen area and get some food items, then turn on the grill and so on.... Not a pleasant approach either:(I ordered another meal for a friend that I invited there. He arrived shortly later, but I had to leave quickly due to work notification. I went and PAID for his food and talked to him briefly and left. My friend disclosed a very embarrassing news to me that he was asked to pay for his food. I just dont get it. My friend attested that he witnessed my payment for the whole thing at the register.I may change my opinion on this place, as I intend to give them a few more chances, but for now, honestly even a 2-star is too much for them. They have NO CHOICE but shape up!

I eat at this place very often as I love their beef kabob and the juicy grilled chicken! Their service is amazing, friendly, and helpful. They catered to my aunts wedding and the food was very good. They also have a variety of Turkish & Middle Eastern groceries.They definitely deserve five stars!

Good selection of Turkish groceries including canned, dairy, charcuterie and frozen goods. Staff is great, always friendly. Careful with expiration dates, they don’t have much turnover and some items we bought had already expired.

They have a bread similar to Barbari bread that I like specially when I toast it a little more later and they had tasty Goje Sabz in May too. Overall I had good experience always, but I havent tried the food yet.

This is a great Turkish market right here in Sunnyvale. Lots of selection and take-out food is good too.

Most flavourful lamb meat amongst all stores selling lamb such as Taj Mahal, Indian Market and whole foods.

Always went to this place for clean and fresh chicken. The owners are very friendly. One time this gentleman also cut and cleaned up the chicken for me after being half way through their machine cleaning at night, before closing.

We bought baby goat from this store. The quality of meat was really good and fresh.

Ive been buying my fresh meat at Baraka for the past eight years and their meats always been fresh, clean, and tasty. The store is extra clean all the time and the service is very good.

I liked the chicken and goat meat. And of course the Naans.

Owner is extremely nasty and doesnt believe in customer service so why do business with him? Butcher took 25min to serve me even though there were no customers. Man was mopping and adding more water or cleaning the mop in the bucket behind the counter close to the meat. The water from the bucket was splashing out from the pressure of the hose onto the meat in the open meat refrigerator. Yuck! On yelp this place has an average score of 3.5 and 40 reviews.

There is a guy who is not kind hopefully owner has to look on to it, today I got turned back even though the claimed time isnt reached which is 8.30pm . Some day back he just gave bones, owner corrected it.
