What a fantastic Indian sweet flavored ice cream place. Never thought of these flavors in an ice cream and it is the best ice cream place in bay area. NOT JOKING! Sweetness is just enough and doesnt make you not have one more pint of joy!Need to be advertised more as an Indian ice cream place! Also work hours on Google is outdated. They are mostly open until 9 pm.

Absolutely delicious and fresh ice-creams primarily based on Indian/desi flavours. I so wish they served in cones as well. I believe they are eggless and preservative free. The chikoo/sapota tasted just like the real fruit. The rasamalai was also creamy and true to taste.I am keen to try the other flavours like gulabjamun and salted guava.

When it was time for an icecream celebration, we decided to try this place as the menu had options we wanted. The flavors and the taste was just awesome! Tried cookies and cream, Mango Alphonso, Butterscotch and everything was nice. Recommend this place👍

Blueberry Lavender is very airy but the taste is very subtle. I smell both blueberry and lavender but don’t taste neither, I guess it’s because of its airy texture.Lavender flavor is always my 1st pick if it’s available so I blindly chose this one but it would have been better if I could purchase by scoops or I could taste (try out) them at least. They have a broad spectrum of flavors but I just couldn’t imagine what “rose kulfi” or “mango kulfi” taste like. Their products are already packed and the smallest one is $6 so it’s something I can’t explore easily.The lady working there was kind.

The best place for hand crafted, small batch ice cream with wide selections. They have unique and delicious flavors. They have Indian flavors too. It’s perfectly sweet and creamy.The best part is they are eggless and preservatives free.They dairy and vegan options. The ice creams are in pre packed 6oz cups or pint size. They also have preorder option available for 32 and 64 oz.Totally recommend this place for ice creams.Must try rose pistachios.

Hole in the wall ice cream shop churning out some great quality ice cream! I got the Alphonso Mango and Blueberry Lavender flavors and both were smooth, creamy, and had a great balance of flavors. Really friendly owners too, hope to see them at their brick and mortar!

Went there with a couple of friends today. Even though the ice cream looked appealing, me and my friend didnt buy it because of the most unfriendly reception by the counter guy.

An awesome place to grab some unique Indian inspired ice-cream flavors. We especially loved guava, gulkand - coconut and malai kulfi. They only serve to-go boxes. Unfortunately, Sitaphal was out of stock both the times we visited.

Craving for ice cream on a Sunday afternoon got us here. We tried the Alphonso mango and Falooda flavors. I didnt have high hopes for the Falooda flavor but was pleasantly surprised. Both the flavors were amazing.Probably the best ice cream in the region! Period.

Happened to accidentally bumped into store on a monday, friendly people. custard apple was such a delight, felt like having real fruit, not too sweet, absolutely loved it. Alphonso mango was a bit strong in flavor, guess thats about the mango itself. Definitely try other flavors.

Tried a few of the unique Indian fruit flavors - Chikoo, Guava (amrood), custardapple (sitaphal) to name a few. These were very good. They also have some mithai flavors (gulab jamun!) and paan which looked interesting but I didnt try.Small shop in a strip mall. There are some food trucks standing there, so you can make it into a complete outing

I asked my boyfriend to buy three (3) pints of ice cream, which were $11 each. The cups are 6 oz for $6, so the pints (16 oz) are definitely a better deal. The employee who helped us at the counter was friendly and patient as we figured out which flavors to take home. We bought Chikoo, Meetha Paan, and Rasmalai.- Chikoo: very good and you can tell they used a lot of chikoo based on the taste and texture- Meetha Paan: subtle with a smooth texture- Rasmalai: personal favorite because of the small bits of rasmalai incorporated in the ice creamLooking forward to trying more flavors soon!

They carry the most delicious vegan ice cream, you wont even know its dairy-free! My favorite is the chocolate, but they are all great (Ive tried them all!) Customer service is absolutely fantastic, a small business owned by very kind professionals :) Highly Recommend!

A friend recommended this place. Thought it would be some store bought ice cream they might be selling. But this place is legit. Excellent ice cream made fresh and friendly owner. We tried Alphonso Mango, Custurd apple, paan, chikoo and butterscotch. All very good. Will try the others soon!

Stumbled on this store and chanced to go in. Ordered sitaphal and mango. Icecream itself is soft and light. Fruit flavors made it extra silky smooth and delicious. Nothing like supermarket frozen stuff. Our family loved it. Definitely going back to taste other flavors. Hope they dont run out of these exquisite flavors.

Great fresh Indian flavors. All flavors I had so far are really good and refreshing. The non-fruit flavors like rasmalai and meetha paan are also great. The salted guava is particularly delicious! Im not a big fan of ice creams but the ones from Pints of Joy are really good and not cloyingly sweet. Will keep visiting this place!Update: On another visit, we had very bad experience with the service. The cashier was clueless and rude. Knocking off 2 stars for the service.

Awesome ice cream! We got chickoo, blueberry lavender and gulab jamun. This is the best chickoo ice cream I have ever had in US. Gulab jamun was a total surprise package, it gave me a feeling of indian wedding. Blueberry lavender was something very different from any lavender ice cream I have tasted.Its our next go to indian ice cream place!

Chikoo and custard apple ice cream are the best

This is hands down the best ice cream I have had in Sunnyvale. I got chikoo-sapota and its so good! My favorite childhood ice cream was chico zapote (I grew up in Mexico) and it was a delightful surprise to find this similar flavor here. Its granulated, not too sweet but definitely tasteful! You can feel the top quality of the ingredients Pints of Joy use, and also the love. I have tried other of their flavors too and they are always delicious. They have vegan options too :)

We really enjoyed our first order from Pints of Joy. The delivery was contactless and they communicated through text to make sure we got our order. The ice cream is rich and flavorful. We tried Mocha, Rum and Raisins, Cookies and Cream, and Mint Chocolate. We will definitely be ordering again.

I just happened to come across one of the post in FB about this store. I popped in and ordered Vegan custard apple, chikoo, pina colada, and mango.Taste is really delicious, i love the real taste of mango, custard apple,chikoo. I think they only to-go.I would definitely revisit the store, friendly and very responsive staff. If you are in the bay area and admire to taste of real ice cream, one must visit this store.

The taste of all the flavors we have tried is exquisite. Gulab Jamun is to die for. Whether it was Meetha Paan, Mango, Thandai, Falooda, Pistachio, Rasmalai, or Sitaphal, the flavor of each felt natural and authentic and the texture was top notch. Highly highly recommend for anyone who wants a real treat!! You can immediately taste the unmatched quality.

We have tried sitafal ice cream and its super delicious. Ice cream contains pieces of sitafal(custard apple). Knowing that it contains fewer ingredients and no preservatives definitely helps in guilt free eating😁

Tucked behind one of the Asian momo trucks; called ahead to make sure they are open and the lady on the other end asked to do an online order and they will deliver curbside.Ordered for Sapota and Strawberry icecream but later was out of stock so got a call to substitute with mango.Sapota was outstanding; texture resembled the experience of biting and chewing the flesh and skin of Sapota; not overly sweet like the icecream sold in frozen food aisle of supermarket; yet to try mangoLoved the packagingWish they also sold sugar free/substitute icecreams
