Its small and is Hispanic. If youre looking for Dennison chili beans in a can, good luck. Its a wonderful Mexican food store. Dont run in looking for frozen hamburgers. They have a meat counter with all kinds of meat and a long line. Wonderful customer service. Good people!!

Wow... I mean fuken wow. We are from Los Angeles Ca... and wow! Chavez Supermarket really impressed us. It is a bit pricey but worth every penny. I did not take pictures inside. But everything we cooked was bought here on our 1 week Airbnb stay walking distance. Enjoy!

Dead fly on the orange rice. The guy literally served others rice ignoring the fly. Not once but twice. All the hot food was uncovered. Do not eat here.

Went there for tacos, and nothing else. Cute little store, and atmosphere. In regards to their tacos, I didnt really find the tacos interesting. Tacos were bland, and lacked flavor, the corn tortilla was also served cold which already gave me a bad impression from the beginning.

Chavez has great burritos - I always order the carne asada super burrito. Prices are slightly high, but service is always good and very fast.

Its really small and I found the products very expensive. The positive thing is that I found some Latin products that a cant find easily in another Hispanic supermarkets.

I would give five stars based on the produce and meat. However I feel as though this store takes advantage of customers with very high prices on ridiculous items. If the cost was more fair I would rate much higher, my only complaint.

Every time I try to order the shrimp burrito they always say its not available or it will take 10 minutes to make. Tale it off the menu if you dont want to make it

The workers here are awesome. The store us usually packed with shoppers but I get in and out quickly. The meat counter is definitely a hidden gem in this community.

I ordered some menudo on Friday 2nd of April to be picked up Easter Sunday to take over to my moms in Dublin also picked up some chicharrones some Mexican cheese everything everything was excellent to perfection only one thing I suggest you put cow feet in your Menudo and selling at a higher price people will buy it I will LOL just a small suggestion thats all thank you muchisimas gracias

I love to get my carne asada seasoned beef here and make burritos for the family. Their house made tortilla chips are also delicious. I will come here just for their house made chicharrones also.

I like Chaves supermarket as Latina I alway find the products who make me feel close to my country and I guess that the feeling of everyone! Employees, well some of them make you feel warm

I would not call this a authentic Mexican store. Everything is super over priced. The real Mexican stores are the small local businesses around here. These big chain stores dont come close. Salsas are super bland. They have no heat or flavor. The pre-made masa for tamales is no good. Their food at the taquiera is awful. Not worth my dollar!

The staff is friendly :D The place is a bit small, but full of great stuff. The back deli area is always always hit.

Let me start with I dont go here to shop, I come for the Taqueria in the back right hand corner of the store. The chefs are skilled, make excellent food, but the masks dont help them be any more personable. They dont smile, joke, chat, or ring you up. Instead, they give you to someone else who they have to tell your order to and then... They have to ask someone else how to input it into the computer... And they dont make eye contact or tell you whats going on... But hey, the food is worth it! I enjoy their super burrito with barbacoa, carnitas, and lengua or, when Im in the mood to cry a little as I eat it, the Camarones a la Diabla (Spicy Shrimp).

Although its not a shiny new supermarket, youll find things you cant find anywhere else. My favorite is the homemade guac, which got a praise from my uncle on Thanksgiving: tú chi Chavez cómo hacer guacamole. Make sure to buy the large size.

Great Mexican grocery store to go to. I went to pick up pickled jalapenos, also the guava drinkable yogurt. Fresh produce is always plentiful, fresh, and much cheaper than your large chain grocery store. I got cilantro and red radishes. Workers always friendly. I like all their different salsas too.

Its more expensive than usual grocery stores. As this is a Mexican grocery store, the options are usually restricted compared to other stores. It doesnt have diverse grocery vegetables. Mostly Mexican fruits. Veggies has shelf life less than a week. The bread has 3-4 days expiry date.Its better to head elsewhere to have right grocery options. Although store has their own cookies and ready-made salsa which is worth trying.

Ask the meat cutter to cut some meat for me he gave me an attitude saying he cant.

The menu didnt have any description so I took my chance and ordered a dish. It was too good for me to regret taking the risk. It was filling and delicious. The only down side was they only have tables outside and it was very windy.

To be honest, the only items Ive ever purchase are the guacamole and tortilla chips. The guacamole is literally the best guacamole Ive ever had. Doesnt last very long so be sure to eat it all asap.

I love this market for their meat department - huge selection of sliced and marinated meats ready to grill for amazing tacos, burritos or fajitas. You can also pick up prepared house-made guacamole and salsa fresca and Mexican cheeses, and of course tortillas in any size and quantity you could want.

Its a Mexican market full of Mexico origin grocery products. bit pricier than other near by stores. Bought beer costlier than near by liquor store.

Taquerias food sometimes is really good and fresh and and sometimes is not. It does not taste fresh, its like they keep food for long time. Also I dont find it very clean. Store often smells bad. They do have some good Mexican items.

Bakery items available, limited frozen food selection.The parking lot is a little challenging. Traffic in and out can be challenging. Two handicapped parking spaces available.

Cheap Mexican supermarket and has pretty much all the items you would look for in a small store. Fruits, water, soda, ready to eat items, burrito bar and a customer service station which does money orders and gives you quarters/ change for notes. what it does not have are healthy items ( For example whole foods in mountain view has 20 different types of green tea vs probably zero here ). It was also pretty dirty and had water in front of their entrance, but if I can get a gallon of water for a dollar I know what Im coming here for. Its also close to a 7/11, gas stations and dominos.

As a non Spanish speaking person I felt like I was on a different planet. Ordering a burrito was like talking to a wall. The food was great! Id like to suggest more picture based menus to eliminate the language barrier

The food that you are able to get here is okay at best. Cashiers are friendly and are pretty fast. There is a currency exchange inside. This place is usually not that busy, but even when it is its pretty fast.

I typically go here for their butcher shop, especially to get their prepared meat for tacos and burritos as well as other items to cook Mexican food. They have a small produce section. Their salsa is awesome. The staff is usually very friendly.
