Want so bad to like this place. Tried twice since so close and just too complicated and there is some ingredient that has a lavendar or perfume like quality that makes both my wife and Is throat itch/swell. This was the case both in our milk teas and ice creams. Tapioca pearls and powders seem poor quality. Nice spot but at $7 for a basic cone you cant hold and eat and have to chase with Benadryl....just hard to swallow (no pun intended) especially with better options just around the corner.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Tina and Lauren were working when I visited for the first time. I waited and watched 2 people be served without being acknowledged. After watching 2 people be served after my arrival I asked when I would be served and if there was a certain area I needed to wait at because it was my first time being there. Tina replied with βyeah thereβs only one registerβ. I WAS WAITING AT THE COUNTER WITH MY WALLET AND CARD OUT WAITING TO BE ASKED IF I BEEDED TO HELP. NO SIGN ANYWHERE THAT STATED ORDER HERE. A SIMPLE ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND DIRECTION WOULD HAVE HELPED. I WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THIS IS BOT HOW YOU HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS. TRAIN YOUR UNEDUCATED STAFF SO THAT YOU DO NOT LOSE BUSINESS. FIRST AND LAST TIME VISITING THIS PLACE. BOBA CAN BE FOUND EVERYWHERE BUT I WENT TO YOUR ESTABLISHMENT BECAUSE OF A GOOD FAMILY REFERRAL. AND ANOTHER THING, WHILE I WAITED A CHILD WHO HAD JUST RECEIVED HIS $10 ICE CREAM HAPPENED TO DROP IT BY MISTAKE. THE MOTHER KINDLY ASKED IF ANOTHER SCOOPED COULD BE GIVEN. TINA STATED ANOTHER SCOOP COULD NOT BE GIVEN. $10!!!! AND YOU COULDNβT SPARE ANOTHER ANOTHER SCOOP!! WAS IT REALLY GOING TO THROW OFF INVENTORY!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERALL! TRAIN YOUR STAFF!!!!
Sad customer service. Seemed very bothered by our questions if menu & our presence. I usually dont take the time to write reviews but this one was very noticeable. Wont go again. Ice cream was good though.
First time ever having a waffle cone that was actually a WAFFLE!!!...SOOOOOO GOOODIE
The first experience here was a little off. They messed up our drink order and donβt do refunds so the owner(I believe she was the owner) said next time we come in she will get us a free drink to replace the mistake. The second experience we didnβt mention the previous mistake as we like to support local business and try something new again. The Nutella mini fish were really good, but once again not impressed with the bubble tea.The third time the bubble tea we ordered was made by a new team member. It tasted very watered down. We tried the croffle this time and the oil it was baked in tasted really old and reused.
Great service! The Thai tea is good too.
This is my go to boba spot! The place itself is very cute and clean. The girl who always takes my order (i believe her name is Lauren) is always super friendly and makes my tea with such love. The tea itself is wonderful, i definitely recommend!
Bobas taste like soap. I dont know if its because of their powder. I got taro milk tea, brown sugar milk tea and honey dew milk tea. Taro and honeydew tasted exactly like the same soap.
Great taste, great server, nice store 3 starsMinus 1 for value ie other places cheaper and gives you more fishπ, minus 1 for only 1 (amazing) staff member not built for ANY rushes Tues 4pm
Stopped by one day because it was reccomended to us. Overall I think I would go again. Service is ok, it was our first time there and the person at the register didnt greet or try to help or recommend anything. This is the kind of place you go to for the experience and not so much because it tastes great, not that it wasnt good its just that its more of a for the gram type of place. Theres a swing with decorative roses behind it for pictures etc. Again, overall it was good but could also improve in alot of aspects.
Delicious boba tea and boong ah bang! Its such a cute shop in Suwanee. Its not hard to find, and the GPS should take you straight there off I-85. Theres plenty of free parking around the building, as well. You walk in and immediately feel happy because the decor is so inviting. It has a bright, modern, welcoming design. Its a family-owned business and you can tell they put a lot of love into their establishment. Their menu is extensive so youll have something new to try every time you visit. From milk and fruit teas, coffee, and slushies, youll have your pick. Plus you can choose to add boba for a fun look and experience. The Boong Ah Bang is one of my favorite options because their ice cream selections are so good. Red Bean is the best in my opinion but I would definitely ask to taste before choosing your flavor. Pricing is reasonable for all options and youll love enjoying your treat inside the shop!
Flimsy cups that make a mess of your car. If the staff gets anything wrong...they blame you for it! Too many other good places in town to deal with this.
We love 2 Plus 2 so matcha! (Did you catch the pun?)This was the first time to try their ice cream. We found the consistency of the ice cream to be smooth and creamy with a light matcha flavor. We found the cone to be whimsical and unique. Very fun for kids!We also got the peach oolong tea. I liked the tart peach flavor with the mellowness of the oolong.Husband and I really love to support local businesses. Thanks for the tasty summer treat :)
The store was clean and the staff were polite. It actually went past polite and into genuinely kind when the cashier waited patiently for my boyfriend to pick out what he wanted while he had a anxiety induced brain fart. Our order came out really fast and was really fresh.I was surprised that they didnt even have 1,000 followers on Instagram and our order number was only 32 and it was close to closing so I doubt they wouldve gotten many more customers after us.Its a thursday and they have only had 32 customers.. yet.. the food and teas are so good.Plus, the location is in suwanee town center.. It should be more popular π₯
Wonderful boba!! Although the tables were a bit wobbly, the service was amazing and the girls who took my order, Marita and Amy, were very sweet and helpful. Will be coming again!
I wish I could give this place a zero. They will add a mandatory tip, and then they will ask for a tip when you pay. The bubble tea is not that good, and the food sucks. This place is a rip off!
I have been to this location three times. The product is fair for quality...but the service was bad and has only gotten worse. The counter is manned by high-school aged girls who have no happiness in their work. They are slow and can be rude. I try to support local merchants but this one is not worth the effort.
If they can make the cup more sturdy and durable that would be great bc the cup slipped out of my and with little effort and completely burst and they couldnβt do anything. My drink also fell in my car a separate time and even though the cup cracked at least only half spilled out so I went home to pour the rest in mug. $11 wasted on 1 drink π₯²oh well
*DO NOT GO HERE* Staff was friendly enough. Was hit with a super gross smell when I opened the door. Spent $6 on a drink I poured down the drain bc it was so awful, coworker agreed. What a waste of money. Card reader didnt work either and the girl said oh this happened a lot.
This is my favorite local little spot. Clean never crowded and the bobba tea is the best!
I enjoyed the Ah-boong ice cream when it first opened and it was fresh too. I went back a few days ago and the fish bread was hard? I also bought a honeydew boba tea and taro boba tea and it tasted like soap as if they didnt clean the blender?
The inside is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful ambiance. The tea is refreshing and tasty. The food is so good and unique - unlike anything else iβve ever had in suwanee. They have very friendly employees. Definitely recommend.
Who doesnt love boba
Korean Taste of dessert or light snack. Taste is ok, but the servicing staff is not friendly. For an icecream place, place is not clean, the servicing staff is not properly dressed.
Super clean and cute place with great treats!!! Only give 4 stars because they donβt give as much pearls in their drinks as other places I frequent. However, everything tastes great!!!
We used to come here for creamy and rich matcha soft serve. After today, we definitely will only go to Matcha Cafe Maiko for that craving.Today, my boyfriend and I got the usual boong ah bang with matcha and custard. The soft serve is already really pale upon comparison, but it left us even more disheartened after tasting it. We couldnβt taste any matcha at all, and it was much sweet than before. There was also much less custard than before.I guess theyβre making major budget cuts
Absolutely love the teas and desert in this shop! the service and atmosphere are also amazing. great place to study or bring your kids for an icecream
Ur drinks tastes like dawn dish soap dawg.if you like the taste of soap this is the place for you, and the after taste is even worse. their fish snack is kinda swaggy tho.π© i mean.................. nice service doe i guessπ the honey milk tea tastes like the smell of pee that has been sitting there for hours π³ oh yea btw the aftertaste tastes like soap and graphite together istgπ₯Ά AND ITS SOUR SO FIX IT ππππππππππππ
The drinks were ok but the lady making our drinks was rude though.
The bubble tea doesnt taste good. It barely tastes like any tea. The boba itself is okay, nice chew to it and sweet. Beware if you are buying the baby boong ah bang, if you want to get mixed flavor, they will upcharge like crazy. I got the custard filling (5pc) and chocolate filling (3pc) and they charged me for the chocolate which is 7.50 plus 1.50 upcharge for custard. The custard is 6.50 for 8pc. Makes no sense. The baby boong ah bang is pretty good.
K- Food (boba and boonga pang) good ! But expensive.......need to law price!
I am not a big fan of bubble tea but their ice cream in fish cone is the best ever. The owner lady is awesome, always greets us with smile. We cant go sit in these days because of the covid19 but this is one of the places Id like to go when things get back to normal.
Tea tasted like soap and they are not very nice
I love it! I just wish they had the nutrition of their drinks available to view though, so I know what Iβm getting. Cute place!
Taro milk tea cost more than most places, and it doesnt have taro in it. Just powder. Asked for no ice, got a bunch of ice in my drink. They seemed busy, didnt want to stress them out about remaking the drink. The boong ah bangs were pretty good.
Friendly and desserts taste good and it has a cute environment. However service is so slow I think I waited over 20 minutes for a 8 piece lol. It was pretty depressing. They probably need more staff. They also seem to mess up my order every time I come. Missing toppings, missing ice cream, etc.
Bad, really bad customer service, this guy just came out and said if we werent going to consume any more the place was closed to us, and we needed to leave, yall should teach some manner to your employees, First time there and we aint coming back
Please update your business hour. We drove out hear and you guys are closed when its only 9:20.
Comfortable spot in the Suwanee Dam / Buford area, close to Suwanee Town Center, they serve Bubble Tea, and it was my first time trying this. If you have never experienced Bubble Tea, and you want to get a feel, along with mellow decor please take a trip to this place.
If you dont know 2Plus2, you dont know...... I cant tell you the secrets. Not your typical spot, great selection from hot to cold items. 2Plus2
I decided to go to 2+2 for the first time... When I entered I saw a huge selection and lots of different flavors, the service was excellent and I am planning on coming more often! They are a great place to order bubble tea and relax, I hope everyone enjoys this place!
I frequent this boba cafe for roughly two months now, usually once or twice per week.Obviously the boba tea is above average and the only one in Suwanee. Nice and quiet. However, I will NOT be coming back because of a WEIRD policy that they have. After certain amount of points, I received a free topping discount. Cool, okay whatever. However, if I used it, I could not use my card to pay since it was under $5 minimum, thus forcing me to purchase another item (which costs at least $1-3 extra). A topping is only $0.50 minimum. So why would I choose my free topping discount then? It doesnβt make any sense at all. Itβs cheaper to simply not use the discount reward than actually using it.This frustrated me the most because it is inherently a bad reward program that punishes you for using it. NONSENSE. ILLOGICAL.
Good price, all delicious options and great customer service!
Great drinks. Good food
Ice cream was great
They dont remake drinks
I love the bubble tea and the nutella fishies...
This is the BEST boba Iβve ever had in my life! I was hanging out with my friend when his mom asked if you want to get boba. Knowing I like boba I said yes and they took us here... Iβm VERY happy I said yes. The service was outstanding and the tea was really good. I recommend it he passion fruit green tea. I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone who likes boba!
There were three employees working in an empty cafe on a Saturday evening. yikes. i ordered two bubble teas. they gave us a buzzer thing when we were the only people in the cafe. while we were waiting, they told us they only had enough boba for one tea. imagine being an empty bubble tea shop and not having enough boba. the tea tasted watered down and the boba was undercooked. not a fan.
Was great. Loved the red bean ice cream.
Was able to finally checkout 2 plus 2, a local OTP spot. Its located in Suwanee Town Center. They specialize in bubble tea and bungeoppang, a Korean street snack shaped as fish that usually filled with custard or red bean. This place offers a few more options whenit comes to fillings as well like cheese for example. The restaurant itself is long and narrow. Decor wise its very modern with mostly gray tones as the dominant color. They also have an area for pictures as well with their logo in the background. You know they got to cater the Instagram crowd! The menu is broken down to bubble tea and bungeoppang. The bubble tea most milk teas. They do have fruit tea, slushes, and milkshakea as well. Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of flavors. I did try the sweet potato milk tea which was in my opinion very good. It was light and sweet. Milk tea can be sometimes heavy in terms of flavor, but this one was just right. In terms of bungeoppang, you can either order full size one or the mini ones. They can be eaten by themselves or paired with ice cream and other toppings added too. Some of the more interesting fillings for example would be Nutella, cheese, pizza, strawberry, and blueberry. If you decide to pair with an ice cream your limited to mostly just basic flavors. I had custard filling and strawberry ice cream for one and red bean filling and matcha soft served ice cream for the the other. The fillings are good and if the paired with the right ice cream taste even better.Funny thing is, all fillings can be eaten with ice cream so if daring you could get pizza filled bungeoppang with strawberry ice cream if you wanted.Overall, its good spot for those who havent experienced bungeoppang before. Nice spot to hang out and chill with friends. Its fun and quick snack as well. Definitely worth checking out in my opinion.
Went here for the first time, ended up waiting over 20 minutes just for the 8 piece Boong Ah Bang. They werent serving customers in the right order as they also forgot to serve the customers before us.
Great place
Great place!
