The person I was working with kept forgetting what he was doing for me. I asked to buy out the water softener and he just kept forgetting to give me a quote. Eventually I went in but when then he wasnt prepared for our meeting.Their water by the jug is great and so is their knowledge about decontaminating water. I would go for that but the service leaves something to be desired.

Such a great company! From the answer of first phone call to Steve coming and installing everything. He is so pleasant to work with. It’s nice that it’s a small company and you get to know the installer and who is coming into your home a little better then just a random person coming. I would recommend to anyone. My first time using Water works. Katrina was welcoming and professional, took down my questions and information, and KEPT HER PROMISE and called me back to let me know that they worked on my water filtration model. She worked to set up an appointment convenient for ME, called to remind me the day before and now has my customer information on file so that I don’t have to try and remember it from year to year. The technician was on time and cordial, thouroughly explained what he was doing, and double checked his work for any leaks before he left... a wonderful experience from beginning to end!

Things were off to a good start when the owner, George, showed up on time to look things over and give an estimate. He looked over the existing water softener and tested the water. I was pleased that he did not try to sell us an iron and sulfur remover after telling me that our well water did not need it (a salesman for another company tried to do just that). After determining our needs, there are just two of us in this house, he recommended the 32,000 grain SmartChoice Gen II which was the smaller unit. Again, he did not try to sell us more than we needed. We did opt for the whole house water filter. A few days later the office called as promised to set up the installation. The two installers arrived on time as promised and quickly removed the old equipment and installed the new. They then took the time to show us the digital readout which is pretty intuitive. The digital readout tells you everything you need to know about the operation of the system and when to add salt. We are very, very happy with this system. The whole house filter and softener work great and have a smaller footprint in the basement than the old equipment. We no longer have to buy bottled water for coffee and pasta. Good price. All questions answered. On time installation. System works great. We highly recommend Northern Illinois Water Works.

We had Water Works install a Reverse Osmosis water filtration system in our home in 2011 for drinking/cooking water and have been very happy with the system. Since we are on a well we had problems with sediment in our unfiltered water supply that was causing problems with faucet flow and damaging our water softener. Water Works installed a whole house filter in 2017 and all our water supply problems are gone. They are very professional and have always been there to answer any questions when I need their help. I highly recommend Water Works.
