They let me know the issues and got them fixed really quickly. Honest, fair, and reliable what more could you ask for. I have had some issues with my car and I know I can leave it there and not think twice about them doing the work that needs to be done. When they say something needs to be done I also dont have to guess if they are just trying to pad the bill with extras like many of the other automotive shops do. Family business so their reputation is behind the work they do.

These guys were great. They made sure to keep me updated on what needed to be done to my car before they went forward with anything. They even compared the price of the part and told me upfront how much it would cost (needed a new catalytic converter). They also explained to me what damage would be done to my car if I did not get the problem fixed. Very happy with the work that these guys did.

Tim and Peter are incredible! I was in a tough spot and needed some work done before I went out of town for military duty. They not only told me they would have it right before I left, they gave me a ride home! That level of service just doesn’t exist anymore. I went there after wing told they were the best transmission shop in town. Best recommendation I’ve ever had! They even made a few recommendations and it has really paid off. I appreciate their honesty, have been back a few times, even for non-transmission work, and will be back again. I have continued to spread the word that Quality Automotive is the best in town. Great work for a great price

Called this morning October 11 20 which is a Sunday and the Man said I could bring my truck there to be looked at and to call him when I was 10 minutes away so I drove 37 miles to drop it off called him several times and the phone went right to voicemail. Wasted half my day on this. The understanding was that I was going to drop it off and leave my keys so they can look at it this week. I would not trust these people to do any repairs because they dont follow through with what they say.

I highly recommend bringing your vehicles here! I have brought two of my cars here for pretty serious repairs, and have had such great experiences both times. As a woman, Im nervous that I will be taken advantage of when taking my cars in, but I found the pricing incredibly fair, and the work to be long lasting! I will be bringing my cars here as long as Im in the Syracuse area!

The motor in my 2001 Pontiac Grand Am blew up & Pete was very informative as to what had to be done. He got the motor, replaced everything that needed to be done. We also have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler that they have worked on. No problems or issues with what had to be done. The work that has been done for us has been great & its done right the first time. A highly recommended shop for anything that needs to be done. We will definitely return.

Quality has done a transmission rebuild for us on our 06 Chevy Colorado, as well as a bunch of other work and has done several repairs on our 06 Toyota Sienna and in all cases, they were very accommodating and got us in quickly. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of work was great. I felt as though they were proactive and thorough without taking advantage of us. Our Vehicles still run as great as they did the day we bought them. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for an honest and affordable experience.

Very upfront about cost and even explained in detail. This guy even showed me pics of what he fixed. I am always worried about being taken for a ride since I know little to nothing about mechanics but he explained everything to me step by step. I highly recommend this place.

We were having an issue with our 2006 Toyota Corolla and we decided to try Quality Automotive. They were able to take it in right away and quickly diagnose and fix the problem. Pete helped me out on the side of the road when my battery died. He gave me his card and told me he could test my battery and quote me a new one. After getting my dead battery jumped, I met Pete at Quality and was more than impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, and superior customer service. Dealt with Pete - really nice guy and explained everything to me about what was going to be done - talked to his father on the phone and he was very nice and explained things to me too and gave me a pretty accurate estimate. After my son had called me with a transmission leak while at Syracuse U. Called John at Quality and had the car towed there. Nest business day they looked at the car and informed me of a leaking transmission line. They repaired the issue and moved on to a failure code that was from the check engine light. This they also repaired and then inspected my son,s car for the NYS inspection. Got him going the next day. They kept me informed of all the repairs . Repair cost where not excessive. Thanks John. I would give 10 stars if I could! A serious issue was partially caused by a mistake made by another repair shop. I dropped my car off in the morning, they were in touch with me all day, gave me honest and truthful advice, and it was done by the time I got out of work. Not only were they amazing with my problem, they also worked to get the original mistake fixed. All of this was done at a more than resonable price and they were fantastic!

Excellent service! I called on Wednesday afternoon (9/12) because on the way home from work my breaks went. Tim got me in the next morning so I only had to lose one day of work! They looked over my car and let me know some things I need to prepare for, as my car is older. Great place for all your needs with automotive repair

My truck was experiencing a very hard starting condition only when cold. I basically had to keep on the gas pedal to keep it running. I took it here to have it looked at as I was told previous from other places it could be anything from a bad fuel pump to a leaking injector. They put in on there computer and had it relearn idle which took all of 10 minutes. I haven’t had any issues since then. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants an honest answer.

My daughter’s car motor blew. I called quality automotive to see if they could help. They gave me a quote that was approx $800 lower and quicker turn around time. The whole staff here is professional and courteous. They have since taken care of some other issues on the car for us. They stand behind their work and stay true to true word. I called Tim when I need my transmission rebuilt and he did a amazing job and fast other shops were telling me few days and Tim had it done in less then two days and after I installed the transmission I had few other problems with my truck Tim worked vary hard to help me out in any way so I had my truck towed to him and you no what this man did something no shop would do he busted his ass till he found out the problem on my truck and I mean alot of hours spent on my truck and short story he fixed it and something a different shop would of coat co thousands of dollars he did for lot less just to help me out I rwcorecomthis shop for anyone he is great and vary honest I wish I didnt live a hour away but from now on it gonna be were I take My of my cars never felt so stress free thank u Tom and everyone there

Baught a 2010 express van had it on the road 45 minutes and the transmission started slipping, apparently a line broke and it lost fluid. I braught it here they rebuilt it new lines new u joints also a new torge converter!!! All in a day so yes I would deff come back.

Never in my life have I ever encountered such a hostile, intimidating, aggressive & rude business owner. Our experience included : being hung up on when calling for an update, being chastised for “interrupting” him when we went there ( bc he didn’t answer the multiple phone call attempts ) for an update 15 minutes before the shop was supposed to close, not hearing from him for days, and finally getting the car back ( from this transmission expert ) without any solution or resolution as to why the transmission is revving on its own at highway speeds.

One of the most honest expierences I have ever had at a repair shop. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

My reverse went out on my 98 chevy g 3500 cube van....I called a number of transmission shops,...and then I called quality auto and transmission...tim answered the phone, I told him the problem and immediately he came out to where I was with one of his mechanics....tim said he would take the truck to his shop and have the transmission repaired the next day...I was amazed to say the least...his mechanic drove the truck to the shop and tim gave me a ride back to my house....the next day tim called and said the transmission was all fixed and said the previous trans shop really messed it up which I had many problems with and they would not do any more work on it and charge me more money...the transmission is running great now after 1 year and a lot of miles....another problem came up...I took it to tim and he repaired it within a day....I had been tracking my mpg after I had a engine block replaced years ago by another shop...I was getting 9.7 mpg, now I am getting 10.7 mpg ...that’s 1 mile more per gallon and the the truck has better acceleration now than ever before...there is much more to say about the quality of mechanical repair at tim’s shop....

Peter got me in the night that I needed a repair and stayed late to make sure that the job was done and I had my car back for work the next day. Above and beyond service every time I have went there.

They know what they are doing and went above and beyond as far as helping me out.

Had a major nightmare of an electrical transmission issue, these guys were fast in diagnosis, communicated well what the problems found were and ultimately resolved my issues within a day, the prices were satisfactory and I will be doing bussiness with them again.

Really great work. Peter and his father know what theyre doing.
