I bought my absolute favorite pair of earrings at this place several years ago and loved my experience, and I was reviewing some other places and came here to give them 5 stars. Then I saw that they somehow showed a completely different side to me than they did to a friend of mine who is trans, and I am so disappointed. It just floors me that they gave me excellent service, and I came away loving the place, but they would deliberately deny that to another customer right out of the gate, when she should have had the same awesome experience I did and come away loving the place too. I cant in good conscience support that, and I feel tricked. Discrimination has effects beyond the customers you discriminate against.

Its a consignment shop, costume shop, vintage clothing store. Always has the right hat (especially vintage) to top off any outfit. Great church and easter hats. Clothing is nice but not a lot of plus sizes. Cute costume jewelry.

I just moved and Cluttered Closet just happened to have several amazing things that have made my apartment look great - a fabulous floor lamp, two beautiful wool runner rugs for my bedroom, and a lovely and colorful cotton quilt for when I have guests. The selection is always changing - and the prices are impossible to beat! Its hard not to walk away with something every time I go in there!

I moved to Syracuse and realized at 4 pm (when it was getting dark) that I had no lights in my room. Without a car they were literally my only hope. I got a great deal on two super cute lamps and they even went next door to the corner store and made a deal with the owner for me so I got bulbs for a good price too

Good selection of new consignment and a rack of costume/vintage. Owner of shop can be helpful or rude, depending on day. If you are trying to sell consignment, dont let on to owner that your clothes have ever been around cats, ever, even if its been years or theyve been washed since, or she wont take them...

I really hate to do this but shes selling Dollar Store pot holders for four bucks and Dollar Store towels for two. Youre not slick and its a vintage store. If I wanted to buy Dollar Store items for two to four times the price Id go buy something from the little bodega on Westcott.
