Cookie connoisseurs rejoice! This place is conveniently located on Marshall street near Syracuse University. As soon as you open the door it always smells like a fresh batch of cookies were made. The prices can be a little intimidating, but I promise that it’s totally worth it. Excellent cookies, excellent service, and excellent staff. Will be back!

The cookies were really good but when we picked up our order 1 cookie was missing and the girl behind the counter had a serious attitude. Definitely recommend trying the cookies regardless of the experience but double check your orders before you leave

After working here, I know this location is not sanitary. There were multiple occasions where staff members never washed hands after a smoke break and did not sanitize equipment. I think its an expensive ”ice cream” or ”cookie” shop that does not respect its employees or the cleanliness of fast food service. Simply complain to corporate Insomnia if this store messes up because they do and even when working there I experienced many calls from the actions of coworkers being unprofessional.

Next time I go in with a special request, Ill write it out beforehand. This was during a period of heavy demand because of special offers for nurses, teachers and grads (all three at once!), and the young man at the register had a hard time keeping up. But he was pleasant and helpful all the same. Of course, the cookies are outstanding!

This seemed to be a quaint place with lots of personality and a friendly atmosphere. The cookie ice cream sandwich (mine was chocolate chunk with butter pecan) was actually quite delicious, warm and freshly baked. The staff seemed at ease and they were friendly and prompt. 10/10 will be back with others.

Some of the best cookies Ive ever had that I didnt make. You wouldnt be disappointed in Amy of their products especially the vegan cookies.

I thought the peanut butter chip cookie was excellent. The young lady at the counter was very nice and helpful.I did not know they did delivery until I saw someone come back with a car delivery sign. Who orders cookies for delivery, I didnt know that was a thing.

I mean....like they really are the best cookies ever. They are so soft and just the right amount of sweet. You can definitely make up to ur guy or lady with a box of these and some almond milk.. ok yes thats how I like to eat them. I wanted to try these for years and now every time Im in town we must get a box of them. Our favorites are the classic chocolate chunk, peanut butter chip and the macadamia white chocolate. I love peanut butter my guy loves the chocolate chunk and we both love macadamia as a 2nd choice. Must try and I know u will not be disappointed

These cookies taste like love. They ran out of the snickerdoodles (tragedy) but the other cookies were still good.

I love their cookies! But when I went in the last two times I was served rock hard cookies, which rarely ever happens. I was disappointed with the cookies, not sure if the service has changed or the people on that shift was unaware of what they were serving. Maybe I should’ve asked for fresh cookies.

Amazing cookie ice cream sandwich

Just had my first cookie-wich from here & it was great! I love the concept of having this available late at night. I feel like I should apologize for not getting here sooner! It just popped into my girlfriend head!

Cookies scheduled for delivery at 2:00, my daughter stayed in waiting. I called at 6:00 and was told the order was being prepared. Called at 8:15, was told out for delivery. It’s 10:08, on hold for 20 minutes. Still no cookies. Check order status function is useless. Disappointing Valentines desert for my daughter.

I try to be more understanding of customer service issues and orders taking a bit longer than planned, but this case was frustrating and unacceptable. I had some coworkers who had graduated from Le Moyne and raved about this place. My boyfriend wanted a cookie cake for his 24th birthday and I thought that a cookie cake from insomnia cookies would be a great surprise since neither of us had been before. I put in my order on Wednesday to be picked up on Saturday at 2:30 pm. I figured this was enough warning and time to prepare. I got to the shop Saturday at 2:37, not even early and the door is locked to the store. A few moments later a woman comes out and says that there are no more cookies and to come back later. I mention to her that I have a pickup and she goes inside. Comes out a few minutes later and says that they havent started my cookie cake that should have been picked up 10 min prior. After waiting inside for 30 min for a my order to be finished. Some people started coming in, small children are entering with their parents and the music that is playing has so much profanity in it to the point that every other word was a swear word. When I finally got the cookie cake and brought it home, it was a good cookie with it still being slightly chewy in the center and the frosting on top, but i dont think I would buy from them again due to the wait time for an order placed 3 days in advance and the customer service. Pretty disappointed with my first experience.

So if you have Google say you open at 12 on Sunday, and you have no sign on shop and front door is open, one would assume you are open. Your lack of planning or employee’s effort doesn’t warrant me a rude greeting you’re not open.

Excellent service. Requested delivery for a surprise birthday gift 3 days before which is kinda short notice and everything went well. The cookie cake was in perfect conditions, looked beautiful and had a great taste. Recommend!!!

Ordered a gluten free cookie and got so sick. They warn about cross contamination on their website but I have eaten at restaurants with cross contamination before and not gotten sick. I have celiac and was violently ill like I ate a regular chocolate chip cookie.

I’ve been going to this place for years and all of a sudden my cookies are starting to be brick hard when I purchase them. I was told to put them in the microwave for a couple seconds for them to soften up but they were just warm and hard. Very disappointed in my last couple visits. Probably won’t be going back.

It took 2 and a half hours to get my order and the cookies came cold. I live very close too. You will be better off just driving there or ordering somewhere else.

Went back the next day had a very pleasant experience with a girl Essence. She was understanding and helpful. Need More customer service representatives like her!

Hits the spot every time! We get these at work often and no one ever complains. How could you? Every cookie is like an explosion of deliciousness in your mouth.

Couldnt even get any cookies :( wait was wayyyyyyy too long. Each customer was taking 5 or 6 minutes. Line barely moved in the half hour i waited.

This was my first experience with Insomnia cookies. We had a rough day and decided warm cookies would hit the spot.We placed a scheduled delivery through Grubhub. We requested that the cookies with nuts be placed in a separate box (one has a moderate nut allergy).Our order was over 40 min late with no time updates, they weren’t warm, and the nut cookies were mixed in & touching most of the varieties. To top it off, the driver didn’t even get out of the car, I had to go to his window to get them. I wish I could adjust the tip to reflect the service. I doubt we will ever be ordering again. Incredibly disappointed

There is nothing better on a cold winters day than a warm cookie. I stopped in for the first time on such a day, the employees were kind and friendly and they picked a fantastic cookie for me that really hit the spot. I will be stopping back again.

This place is so overrated! Oh my goodness! These cookies are mediocre at best. When you factor in the price, they are terrible. I got a dozen assorted traditional cookies. They were baked way too long and ranged from plain crunchy to crunchy with a little chew in the very center. The double fudge cookies look super fudgy, but do not pack a chocolate punch. The rich buttery flavor I love in a simple chocolate chip cookie was no where to be found. Do they use shortening as opposed to butter? I am beyond disappointed. Dont waste your time.

Dear Insomnia Cookies, you have delivered cookies multiple times to our apartment complex because my wife got high and got the munchies. 😂 I dont smoke personally, but anyways, your cookies are really good, always perfectly cooked and somehow you can deliver them still warm from the oven. They are a little expensive but I dont think weve ever had an issue with a delivery. Also, my wife likes to put cheesey messages but you stopped taping the small cards on the boxes, please resume doing that. I would recommend Insomnia cookies to anyone and their products are very good! We will continue to order them as long as you continue offering delivery.

Ive loved the stores Ive visited in NYC and I was excited when I saw there was one by where I was staying outside of Syracuse. A delicious warm fresh baked cookie at 2:30am it doesnt get much better than that!! I just made the drive over, 30 minutes I spent in the car to your store at 137 Marshall St, Syracuse, NY 13210. Quickly found parking and smiled when I saw the OPEN sign glowing in the late night mist. As I walked in an amazing aroma of multiple different cookies filled my nose and I knew I was going for the major rager box. So you can imagine my disappointment when I got to the counter for them to tell me theyre closed at 2:49. There was still no explanation when I said closing early huh? thanks apparently your hours are very lax at this location. You should tell your employees to at least turn off the open sign so I can be pissed from the comfort of my car. Also leaving a one star review on here was the last thing I wanted to do but you cant even leave a proper comment on their website page error every time! Guess thats just the way the cookie crumbles.

I was with my wife and 10 year old daughter both employees were using profanity like it was not an issue. Talking about not being able to take cash because the could not get change. The product is good, price was ok but the customer service was not good. Management needs to do a review check your videos... Thanks

Best 3 AM munchie potential

Ive been ordering cookies form here for years. They were always delivered hot and fresh-tasting. However one day I let someone use my account to order cookies, and the delivery person couldnt find our house. The person using my account called and complained to the manager about it. I think this made the people at the store angry, because ever since that night, whenever I ordered cookies they were cold and hard. Every single time. They tasted like cookies you buy at a gas station or something. I continued to order a few more times, only to receive more cold and hard cookies. I dont know if this was intentional or not, but it sure seemed like it to me, especially after years of never having any issues until that night. But whatever the reason, I decided to stop ordering from there. The cookies cost too much to not be delivered fresh.

We are in town and haven’t been to the Cookey shop in a while so we are headed there for some sugar cookies with icing on top to our dismay they only do sandwich cookies so two cookies with icing in the middle I didn’t understand why they couldn’t do two cookies with just icing on the top and not put them together very disappointed walked out empty-handed manager seemed put off by the questions alone

Insomnia cookies didnt exist when I went to SU and that is good and bad. The bad is that I missed out on GREAT cookies. The good is that I would be broke after spending all my money on cookies and I would weigh 1000 lbs.In all seriousness, the cookies are VERY good and we stop in there after going to Varsity for Pizza.

Ok so the hype is true. These cookies are f***ing fantastic. I love that they sell cold milk too. They deliver, they’re fresh, they’re a lot heads dream come true. But you don’t need to be high to determine these cookies are mouthwateringly good. They even stay soft the next day so you don’t need to wolf them down while they’re hot, although how could you not?

Being a former employee of Insomnia Cookies I am very disappointed with them. Not once but three times they mess up my order. My recent order they forgot bring me a chocolate chunk cookie for my cookiewich. In addition, they forget bring two my peanut butter cup cookies for my cookiewich and top of that didnt bring my vanilla ice cream for my cookiewich smh. When I called to complain they send me four free cookies, but the catch is they want me spend at least $6 to get my free cookies double smh. Never again I will order from here again. I should go back and work there to show them how this done.

Both times Ive tried to get Insomnia delivered, the order never showed up. We waited 2+ hours and never got cookies. The first time we got the cookies around the 3 hour mark and the cookies were cold and hard and my account was charged extra for a tip we never gave. Two thumbs down. Would not recommend.

Very disappointing - placed an order through the web site for delivery. I received a confirmation email and waited. Checked the status using the tracker several times. After the order was 25 minutes late, and was still showing up as baking I called customer service. It was just a general nationwide number but she said she thought the Syracuse store was closed for deliveries. I questioned why my order was processed and she asked me if I just wanted it processed tomorrow. Funny how Calios, a few steps away on M Street, was open and delivered a calzone in less than 30 minutes but Insomnia was unable to deliver due to road conditions. I wish I would have known that Insomnia wasnt delivering in the beginning and I would have ordered from Calios. Now Im told that I will need to wait 3-5 days for my credit card to be refunded for the order. Maybe Calios should start selling cookies and milkshakes.
