Dealing with Delaney Moving and Storage was a positive experience. They were professional and quick to respond to all issues that arose on packing day and delivery day. The only criticism I had is there was no discussion of when our items would arrive at our destination during any of our initial calls. I would recommend them for a move, just make sure you ask about the transport time involved.

Delaney Moving and Storage provided excellent service. Delaneys moving crew was professional (they did what they said they would do) courteous (they asked questions about what we wanted the crew to do) and they were efficient (they made the most of their time by staging items and maximizing the amount of furniture and other items they were able to move and store in a short period of time). I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a move and we will use them again in the future.

We were very apprehensive about using a professional moving company because we had heard about so many bad experiences. Our experience with Delaney was absolutely top notch in every aspect. They are experienced professionals who added a wonderful personal touch to our dealings. Art provided many helpful hints that made the packing process easier for us. He came back and did a second inventory when we were concerned about adding to the original unit counts. Our move coordinator, Cheryl, was continually checking in with us as we went through the preparations. Cheryl also kept us informed and check in throughout the loading and unloading activities to make sure all was going well. When I called with questions, my calls were always returned promptly, with courtesy and friendliness. The driver, Roy, and the loaders were extremely careful in the wrapping of our furniture. Even the furniture legs were completely covered and protected. We had two unloads (one at a storage unit and one at our apartment). Both went off without a hitch. The only surprise in the entire process was that the move was so well executed. I would highly recommend Delaney!

Wonderful experience using Delaney Moving! I had to close an office and send items to different locations. One location local and one 3 plus hours away. Both were accomplished in a timely manner. Move was arranged from out of state via phone and emails for our daughter. Jeremy Murphy, Relocation Specialist, was very helpful and responsive to all calls and emails. He was very patient, as our daughter was slow in supplying some needed information. My daughter indicated the move went smoothly, and on time. A 10 Star Company! 5 stars just isn’t enough for Delaney Worldwide Moving & Storage. Sadly, we were dealing with an Estate. The house was sold and the personal belongings had to be moved from Upstate NY to Virginia. At the last minute the moving company we hired, backed out. In desperation, we called Delaney Movers. Delaney was fantastic!Professional, punctual, and most importantly patient as we tried to coordinate a long-distance move with multiple 3rd parties, under a major time crunch. Cheryl (the very best!) handled the scheduling, logistics, and contracts; she patiently walked us through everything.Because we were out of town, all of this was handled by phone. That was no problem for Art Delaney as he was able to use his years of experience to estimate the size and scope of our load-based solely on pictures and descriptions that we provided - and he nailed it!On ‘moving day’, Delaney’s crew showed up on time and made quick work of packing the truck. The first time we met anyone from Delaney Movers was when the United Van Line truck showed up in Virginia. The Delaney crew, Joe and Clyde, worked quickly and efficiently to unload our belongings and place them wherever we requested, including some large items that had to go up a narrow staircase to the second floor.All items were well secured on their truck and no item was damaged or lost in the move. Finding the right mover can be a quite a challenge. I started looking for a mover back in July. I contacted all the major movers. Some called back and some didn’t. One contractor had me fill out a spreadsheet which listed all my furniture. I was notified an estimate would be coming shortly. I never got one.Then I called United and Art Delaney came to my house and inventoried my household goods himself. He gave me a quote shortly after that and I was pleased with the quote. I would like to personally thank Cheryl Hall for helping me during the move. I had to make some changes and she made them. Also the workers at both ends (source and destination) were very professional and courteous. Everything made it! I would highly recommend this mover to anybody.

We used Delaney to move my mother’s belongings to Ohio. They did a complete pack and ship. Nothing scratched or broken at all. Art, Cheryl (the move coordinator) and all packers and drivers were totally professional. These folks are a first class outfit.

Delaney was a pleasure to work with. On the date of our move, they arrived 1/2 hour early (7:30 am) and loaded our stuff up. They were done by 11am. This was a 4 bedroom 3.500 sq ft house mind you.On the morning of scheduled delivery, they did the same thing. No damage to our property occurred, and we watched them use extreme care for the goods and the property they took the material too.I thought their pricing was fair. If I ever need to move again, United Van Lines had my business. Drlaney movers in Syracuse has my vote of confidence as well.

Very accommodating with my situation. Closing postponed. The only negative I have to say is that they(United) were aware I was storing my items but said nothing of unwrapping wrapped items. Had the 3rd party delivery company and I knew we would have not used moving blankets and saved time. The 3rd party movers were excellent and friendly courteous and accommodating.

We had a great experience moving to Florida with Delaney Moving and Storage and their Company, United Van Lines. Everyone was always helpful. Art Delaney came out three times to make sure he had as perfect an estimate as possible and the final move was just a couple of hundred pounds off from his estimate. I dont really know how he did it. The office staff, scheduler and move coordinator all were extremely helpful. When they had some used boxes to share, they were very gracious and their prices for boxes and paper we bought were very fair. Best of all was our driver, Daniel, who did a superb job packing our things in the van and delivering them in Florida. If you are lucky enough to have Daniel, youll have the smoothest of moves. I highly recommend them.

I have moved 25 times in my lifetime, including many long-distance and two overseas moves, and by far my experience with Delaney has been the best. Art Delaney, who came to my home to estimate the cost of my move, was so proud of his company that I was sure that I would receive great service. My instincts were spot on. The packing crew chief, Roy, and his team packed my valuables with such care that it was as though they were packing their own possessions. Next were the loaders, headed by Ivan, and the driver, Henry, who were from an affiliate chosen by Delaney. Again, they treated my things gently and they took great care in protecting my walls and floors from soil and damage. Henry sped my belongings over several states and arrived earlier than I expected him to. The team who accompanied Henry in unloading, Sven Sr. and Sven Jr., joined with him to speedily unload and then assemble furniture. All members of all teams made sure to greet me by shaking my hand and making full eye contact with me, and they took their leave the same way, ensuring that they not only showed their respect for me, but they gained my respect and trust as well. Last but not least, Cheryl, Delaney’s coordinator for my move, kept me informed throughout the moving process. She was so hospitable that after a number of calls I felt as though I had made a new friend.Delaney also handled the transport of my car. I contacted Delaney Moving to help with a long distance move for my mom from Syracuse, NY to South Carolina. Every step of the process, from initial contact for an estimate to post delivery follow up was smooth, helpful and professional. They did an excellent job packing some of the more difficult and fragile item with care, even coordinating the disassembly and reassembly of her Grandfather Clock (which is a speciality move item.) Everything arrived on time and in good condition. I would definitely recommend them to any of my family or friends living in the Syracuse area.

In contrast to the positive reviews we read about Delaney Moving and Storage we did not have a good experience. We had a hard time reaching anyone to ask questions, our scheduled move was delayed, proper arrangements were not made to park the truck at our new residence so items were lost and damaged. Although we purchased replacement insurance our claim was denied because we packed our own boxes. We were very disappointed.

Art Delaney stopped over several times providing packing materials and much appreciated guidance and advice. Brenda and the Delaney team were available and just a phone call away. Our move went smoothly with all our belongings arriving intact and accounted for.

I cant say enough about Delaney Moving & Storage and the wonderful experience I had with them. I had previously had a bad experience with another moving co and canceled with them before even loading the truck. I called Delaneys frantic and they immediately came to my aid. Dave D. arrived at my house within a day of my call and with his Move Corrdinator, Katie B they had my move taking place in less than a week and quoted a price that was even better than the first company. My moved needed to be completed before X-mas and I was giving them less than 3 weeks to accomplish and they did with a few days to spare. My moving team Carl F Sr, Frank G. Antoine G, arrived exactly when they said they would, immediately removed their boots (was a really snowy day) and went about their work. I couldnt believe the careful attention they gave to packing my belongings. Carl F explained the process to me after my belongings left my home and how it would play out. Katie stayed in constant touch with me throughout the move and even called me on X-mas Eve day to make sure everything was OK. I give them a10+ for the fantastic job they did for me in such a short time frame. True professionals with that personal touch! THANK YOU ALL .

Great Staff

On Friday, April 10, 2015 my husband was home to receive our new mattress/box spring set from JCP. Delaney movers came and set up the set but told my husband that pickup old bedding was not included. The man look at a sheet of paper and said, no its not on here to pick up bedding. He took them at their word. I arrived home later that evening and saw the bedding and said its on the receipt/order sheet from JC Penny to remove. I called Delaney on Friday evening and left a message and the same on Saturday 4-11-2015 and again on Tuesday, 4-14. They never returned the call. I called JC Penny and spoke with customer representatives and finally a manager, Friday April 17 assuring us they would call either Monday or Tuesday. They didnt and today it is 4-22-2015 and our bedding hasnt been picked up. I wouldnt recommend them to any one after this. Delaney gets paid to do a job which is to deliver and pick up. Horrible customer service and lazy movers!

They have no experience and have of their staff is on drugs!
