A worthy selection of great gifts, neat stuff, & of course, excellent books!

I have had some of the best customer service in a long time at the University Bookstore in Tacoma. The employees here go out if their way to help customers find some of the harder to get merchandise from huskies swag gear, books, and little gifts. Always cheerful and friendly, the employees here set the bar for, what should be the industry standard, how a customer experience matters. This is something I feel is beginning to disappear in our communities recently. Great Job University Bookstore, keep up the great work!

I strolled into this eclectic bookstore and wound up spending an entire afternoon here. The collection of books is diverse and fascinating. The prices are very affordable. The service of the personnel is exceptional. I had a nice discussion with Anthony who does a fine job. He really knows the ins and outs Tacoma and quite a bit regarding literature. The Starbucks attached was nice as well with clean bathrooms for patrons. This visit was an epic win for a tourist from Texas. Thank you!

Cool place. I forgot my uw ID when I was here, trying to return my textbooks, and they worked with me anyways. Nice 👍

Awesome staff. They have everything you need ranging from clothing to food and school supplies. Everything is well organized

The reason why I’m giving only two stars is because I rented a book online and forgot I rented it (thought I bought it) when I went to see how much it would cost to sell, they literally said $4 dollars as if it was their book too. Everything’s expensive, but then again all college and university book stores are. The employees are nice.

Phenomenal store. If you love books & the feel of a bookstore, this nook is awesome. Completely remodeled & offers a little of everything. The staff is very knowledgeable & its a great meetup place with your friends.

Friendly staff. The bookstore is small but they have a good selection of supplies, clothes, and books. You can even enter from the Starbucks next door.

Great place to find all your husky gear! They give discounts to alumni as well. A lot of things are expensive there though.

Employees are always friendly and willing to help with an questions. Prices are a bit on the high side only with a small inventory.

Nice enough little bookstore with the attached Starbucks. Their textbooks are expensive which is par for the course for university book stores. I do like the environment and to just browse though.

This used to be a book store, with a nice section of school supplies and where students could pick up their text books. It is now impossible to call this a book store, unless there has been some new definition of the word book that Im not aware of. This store is now revamped it to be almost exclusively a gift shop for UW branded crap. They might as well change the name to the UW gift shop and textbook purchase department.

What can I say - they have the necessary textbooks, all the pens or pencils, and accessories you could want, and theyre friendly.

Sketchy pricing tactics, staff (asked all working incl. Manager) no one had any knowledge of products, all seemed inconvenienced to be asked to do their job. Wont go back.
