Went to Tacoma Dodge looking for a specific car. The car was in stock. Took a quick test drive and then began the most hated of all car lot experiences, the paperwork and financing. Negotiations were brief and we arrived at a deal I was happy with. The salesman, Greg was great. Great sense of humor, extremely helpful and walked me through the process . I drove away with the new car in just over 2 hours.
I can’t recall the young lady name that assisted me but she did go that extra mile. Working in any industry requires good customer and a lot of patience. Thank you for going above and beyond. Good people still exist!
Smooth and efficient process. Once payment and financing were arranged we were out of the dealership in an hour flat. Received a follow up call to make sure everything was going well a couple of days later. Best car buying experience I ever had.
Arrived for my 2:10 appointment at 2:00. The very nice staff member said the oil change and tire rotation was going to take about an hour. At 3:00 my Jeep finally went in for the service. It was finished by 3:45. The tires were not rotated and I know this as I asked for all 5 to be rotated but the spare tire still has the nubs of a new tire. It makes me wonder if they even changed my oil and oil filter. This is not the first time I have had an appointment for a vehicle and have been sitting way way longer than I should have (even pre covid). The last vehicle I had serviced should have had an oil change and I requested all other filters which need changing to be changed. When I got home the alerts were still present for the fuel filters which meant I had to make another grueling appointment to have them changed. You should be paying the customer your labor fees every time you are behind.
Buying a car can be a pain. The high pressure, all the weird personal financial questions, the let me go ask my manager games. Well I inquired about buying a car through the live chat on the Dodge website and was routed to Kathy McClullough. It was all professional after that. We set up an appt to go over what I was wanting to buy, she showed me all my options, gave me some constructive information. It was a pleasure working with her. Kathy did not waste any of my time or hers. I ordered the car, she kept me up to date on when it was being built, shipped and ultimately delivered. I had a great experience this time around .. I came in and knew who I wanted to work with.. Fred is one amazing sales manager, he treated me with respect and was kind and helped me to the max he left the person he was training to make me a priority.. He was upfront and very knowledgeable .. I had a better time this time then last time .. last time my sales person made it seem like he just wanted to sales and commission and not help and when promised something he made me feel like I wasnt important . The most unfriendly, unprofessional dealership I have ever encountered. So unwilling to help and the worst telephone etiquette to top it off. I called around to multiple places asking one simple question and this was the only place I will not be following up with due to how they handled things. If you are unwilling to help a customer from such a simple standpoint, I can only imagine what happens to people further down the line. TLDR; avoid this place like the plague if you value your time.
My husband and I had the best experience. We came in hoping to find the perfect truck and we found exactly that. My wife’s car was unfortunately totaled in an accident about two weeks ago. We contacted Tacoma Dodge online and were put in contact with Sydney. We took a couple days to finally narrow it down to our brand new renegade and we are very pleased with the result.This team is proffessional in every way and not your typical back and forth, pressure you into what you cant afford dealership.We hadnt purchased a new vehicle in 7 years so there were a whole lot of features we were unaware of in the new model. Came in for a simple oil change. Got my car back with low tire pressure and TPMS sensor broken. Lady tells me that they will cover the TPMS since it was their mistake. She waits for me to come back home to send me a quote saying I need to cover the damages myself and tells me that theres nothing she can do. What a joke..
I went to return a 2020 and they helped me returned it back to Chrysler and gave me a Super Great Deal on a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Im a happy customer now. I can drive back home to Las Vegas with no worries.

Well I love the dealership, love the service and parts department, want to buy my next car here but....The Express Lane folks are rude and dont care about their customers.Pulled up and instead of a How can I help you today? I got a you cant park here. I said I am here for my 3pm appointment. I got a parking lot is over there. I said maybe you should have some signs. To which he said the parking lot is empty.Maybe the was the point... his parking lot was empty.I am I taking my pride and joy in to this shop and give him the keys.I dont think so we all have bad days but I am not going to let anyone touch my Jeep with that attitude.Next step sigh is getting my money back for the pre-paid Oil changes.The service department has not reached back yet.A waste of time and tolls just to drive back home...
First I didnt know what to expect, because I was going in to trade my car in. Thought I was going to get turned down. When you go to a car dealership you dont know what to expect. I has a wonderful experience. I had an appointment to heck the 4 wheel drive light staying on. On the way there I had my driverside mirror ripped by a truck and had to pull over and gather myself...when I arrived to service Brandon was the guy who totally calmed me down and checked to see if there was a mirror in stock...there was! The service department staff are very friendly and personable. Communication was okay. However, this place is a scam. They charge an ungodly amount for everything. I would suggest not going to a dealer for things not covered under warranty. They literally don’t work with you to find solutions and they charge to diagnose something that doesn’t even need a diagnosis. Such a disappointing experience.

Recently received an OEM hood pin kit I bought on-line for my 2019 Challenger T/A 392, which we purchased at Tacoma Dodge last October. Thought about installing the kit myself but the wife nixed that idea quickly, so I made an appt. to have them install it instead. Worked with Brandon in the service dept the whole time, while I waited hanging around for a couple hours. The results look great and the same price as quoted earlier. Brandon even gave me some info for some future tires and a lowering kit as well...A+.
Worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership (and I purchase cars every 2-3 years for the last 35 years). If you are not a live breathing person on their showroom floor with a bag of cash - dont expect them to have the time of day for you. And if you think after the lack of promised call backs and price information they say they will provide you with that you can call the sales manager to let him know about the poor service, think again. He will only tell you sorry, we score very high in customer service, so I dont know what to tell you. And important to note, that even though they do not tell you at the beginning or list it on their website, they DO NOT SELL TO ANYONE OUT OF STATE. So make sure you know that before you go through the process of getting financing with your bank (like I did). I dont know when this top score for customer service happened, but it certainly was not recently or with the people I dealt with.
Looked at several dealers to shop around. This dealership said yes.. come here, we have several colors of the vehicle you were are looking for. We got there, they had one certified pre-owned, and would not negotiate. The auto industry’s failure to procure chips properly during the pandemic is not the consumer’s fault. DO NOT GO HERE! Their motto is.. not satisfied.. see a manager. NOT TRUE

I had an appointment to get two recalls to fix on my 2008 Dodge Dakota. Dropped my truck off and was told it would ready at 4:00pm. Called to pick up my truck and everyone working my truck was gone for the day. I was told that I would be called in the morning by the service department I wasnt!!! Finally on the second day I was told that a part needed to be ordered. Very surprised about the lack of communication but thankful for there work and free car wash!!!

It is unbelievable to me that they can’t figure out or don’t want to reimburse the gap insurance money I am due. I bought a vehicle with gap insurance from them which I then traded in at another dealer 18 months ago. Since then, I’ve been in contact with everyone in management about the reimbursement that they all agree should be given to me. Each one has said wait a couple of weeks. I’ve let months go by between visits and the new guy I talk to doesn’t understand why my paperwork hasn’t been filed by the previous co-worker I’ve gone to. They are clearly just giving me the run around and it’s disgusting that through out the whole pandemic, when people need the extra money the most, they’ve pushed me to the side for god knows what. I’ve bought several cars from them but never again will I go back to purchase from them. Customer satisfaction should be at the top of their list.

We had been having a very hard time getting someone to follow through for a recall repair on our Promaster 2500. For the last year other local dealers would tell they would order our part and get back to us - after many tries with no response, no follow up and being put off someone recommended Tacoma Dodge. I immediately made an appointment online and they had the part the next day and had it fixed. Brandon was so professional and the rest of the staff was very thorough. We were even able to get an oil change and inspection before going on our trip. We will continue to give them our business!
Visited to start my car search by looking at a Jeep. I have never driven one before so I wanted to test drive and see what was available. Was very clear with the sales person that I was just starting my car search process and couldn’t sign today but I did want to test drive and see potential options. With that information management decided that I wasn’t worth the sales person time (even though they weren’t busy at all) cause it wasn’t a for sure sale and wouldn’t let me even look at options - let alone test drive a vehicle. Very disappointed in the location and management, sales person was very nice and helpful but sadly will most likely not return. Sales person: 5/5 Management: 0/5
Took my car in at 11:40 for an oil change and to get my GPS and Blind spot detector looked at. They called me at 3:40 saying they wanted to keep my car over night. They hadn’t even looked at it and couldn’t tell me when it would be done. I asked if they could at least do my oil change and they said they would. My car was done an hour later and when I went to go pick it up they didn’t even offer me a time to try and come back to get the other issues checked out.Just assuming by the way my vehicle was handled that it wasn’t a high priority for them. Maybe because it’s still under warranty? Either way, I don’t think I will be returning to drop my car off at a scheduled time to not have it looked at for hours.
I am indeed a happy customer once again...trying to get another vehicle and to my surprise, I was blessed with one! Doug and Fred were awesome. Im making it a habit to always look for Fred or Doug when I go by their business. I am so pleased with how they handle things through the whole process. Russell was amazing! From the moment we got there he made the experience relaxed and laid back with no pressure all the way out the door from when I bought my truck. Customer service has been so rude.spoke to 3 different women trying to get my vehicle serviced and they hardly let me speak. Looking through my contract again I see that they changed the sale price from what they told me and upped it almost 10k. I am a first time buyer and definitely got scammed.

I know supplies are short and a lot of places just don’t seem to have the product but Tacoma Dodge had exactly what I was looking for and then some Kathy was the lady who helped me with majority of the sales and then I believe Robert was the finance guy both very very awesome Heidi was the online person and she was very kind I would definitely recommend tacoma dodge. everyone there were very professional I didn’t feel pressured I didn’t feel like they were trying to force the sale on me I got a fair trade above value in fact for my 2018 ram 2500 and swapping for a 2021 ram 3500 dually and I would definitely recommend them. 10 stars if I could.

Iggy our sales rep was amazing. He took the time to listen to what me and the wife were looking for in our new Jeep Compass. He showed us several option and even was able to locate one on the lot that meet almost every single need we had. It did take an extra day to get the vehicle ready since they hadnt even taken off the plastic wrap yet, and our floor liners were being shipped in from Oregon. Umm, let’s see. How do I explain it. As we all try to adjust to this much different world today honesty speaks volumes. My saleslady Kathy was truly one of the most professional sales person I have ever known to sell me a truck. So honest...... I didn’t even like what I was hearing! At first I was even baffled. But she was respectful enough to be honest straight from the first hand shake, no back and forth with Kathy ........ TRUST ME I tried haha! The sales manager won’t be invited me to any slumber parties, but he turned out to be cool. And your GM is a perfect definition of the title he holds. He has this Ora about him that says “get it done... period.” Followed with a handshake and eye contact. A rare experience these days. But again it all started with Kathy McCullough. I literally called the dealership at 8:01 October 7 th “my 50th bday” and Kathy answered the phone. I live in port orchard and I still needed to shower, I was easily an hour from arrival. On that call I asked her if she had a Ram 3500 crew cab single axle available, silver if possible. She put me on a brief hold so she can check on the keys for one that she seen on the lot...... great memory! And within 40 seconds she pick up off hold and said “happy birthday”! When I got there the truck was already pulled up and everything she said it was. She knew about this truck as if it was hers! I felt like she had the whole owners manual memorized haha. 2hrs tops from arrival, done deal. I couldn’t be happier. You have one hell of an employee in Kathy McCullough. That women is brass tax, and no nonsense. So nice to see people who have pride in their work, and her knowledge of her craft is second to none! Hands down! But here I was at Tacoma Dodge and Kathie met me and she was briefed how and why I was there. My son was involved in an accident while on a trip in Washington we had vehicle towed to jeep i live in Tennessee so im a long way away so im very stress over the whole thing the person who was assigned our issues was Erica Fernandez she was absolutely amazing she kept me up to date with everything going on my customer service with this dealership was amazing and im so happy that i was ableto have such great customer service from this dealership the car was a total loss so they didnt make any money off of us but still gave me great care im so grateful for my experience and thank you again Erika Fernandez you rock

Excellent service in the Express Lane! Jerry went above and beyond to make sure I didn’t pay for anything I didn’t need. I also heard him masterfully deal with other customers who were not the most pleasant individuals. Jerry is a true professional who will make sure you get just what you need from your visit, above and beyond expectations.My only qualm was that Good Year tires are the only brand offered at this establishment. I would like to have the choice to select higher-quality tires.
Awesome customer service! I went in to purchase a car knowing my credit was shot, I had a truck that was on its last limbs and still owed! Magically Randy and his team made it happen and I walked out of there without being upside down on a loan and my first Brand New car EVER! The finance associate Frankie was great, re assuring and made me realize how much of a good thing this was! Thanks to this team for making my life easier and simple! I wish I would of gotten business cards to refer them to others- much deserved! 😉
Im updating my original review to reflect the service I have since received from this dealership. The general manager reached out to me to find out more information about our situation, and did everything he could to make it right. During the course of our communication, I could tell he cared a great deal for the customer experience at his dealership, and would not tolerate poor service. Im satisfied with the resolution, and appreciate that he cared enough to follow up.Original review:I purchased a 2021 truck here, and regret buying from them. The experience during the purchase was not fantastic, but since I needed a truck, I stuck with the process until the job was done. Three and a half months later, I’m stranded at the side of the road 400 miles from home because my new truck broke down. This particular dealership has done absolutely nothing to advise what to do or help me get out of the situation—no tow truck, no rental car, no direction about how to utilize our warranty or extended warranty, can’t even get the woman from service to call me back after she took down all my information to “see what she could do”. Working with other dealerships now to resolve the problem, and both of them have been wonderful to work with. Bottom line is, I do not feel like a valued customer at Tacoma Dodge and will not give them my business again.
I had a wonderful experience at Tacoma dodge I was able to get the car i wanted with the help of Kenny helping me figure some things out.. also was great working woth Russell in sales and Jonathan in financing .. I would definitely recommend
None of my friends are retired so for them to take off of work isnt a simple task. Since I had been told the turbo actuator replacement job for my Ram 3500 was going to take approximately 3 hours, I came prepared with my ancient lap top and a book. However, after noticing the myriad of customers waiting to check in (even though it wasnt even 8:00 AM!), I resigned myself to a very long wait. To my surprise, after about 3.5 hours, the service writer informed me that my truck was ready. Wow, not only was the repair done in a timely manner, but the truck runs great!Obviously, Service has a special meaning at Tacoma Dodge!Thank you!
I stopped in to take a look at the vehicles they had on the lot. It was a good selection of used cars as I didnt want to purchase something new because I hate the depreciation Factor so quickly. I had several people come up and asked me if I had any questions or if I wanted to take any test drive I was completely satisfied with my interaction no one was too pushy no one wanted to presumptively look at my trade in car so a very good happy experience. When Im ready to get something new I will stop in a definitely perch from this location
Went in for 10K maintenance and check engine light own. Check engine light was fixed. Oil was changed with filter, but somehow I dont think the inspection of the vehicle was as complete as it should have been., as the fuel filters were witin 4% of needing replacing. Looking at the worksheet I received, it only showed the oil change, egr valve replaced, and the front drive shaft was lubricated.
Professional service, no pressure on the sale, and fairly easy process.
Russell literally had so many options for me and was patient and helpful even stayed over his shift to assist me with the trade and purchase of my vehicle.
Dropped my vehicle off and was told it would be ready in a couple hours. After running errands finally called to check on the status and they were closed. I go in the morning when they open and I asked why I hadn’t been contacted if my jeep had been done since yesterday. I was told by the service advisor Dave who I dropped my vehicle with that he called but my number was disconnected and was hoping that I would call in. He obviously dialed my number incorrectly, so you only call once? You don’t try again. Almost 24hrs with out my car for a simple thing is not ok.
Absolutely love my 17 Dodge Grand Caravan, and the team at the Puyallup location were amazing when I purchased my van a couple of years ago, but this Tacoma location was so disappointing. Called to inquire about some issues I was having with malfunctions and was told to come in. Not all employees wearing masks during pandemic visit, no detailed information on costs and coverage, very poor communication from store and mechanics to customers when trying to receive updates on repairs, would not provide management information when requested, and outrageous prices for simple diagnostics on vehicles.
Customer service was excellent. Very courteous and willing to go out of their way to help. Would recommend to anyone with a Ram truck.
I was in a terrible accident where someone hit me and totaled my Jeep. I loved my Jeep I worked really hard to get it and it kept me safe considering the seriousness of the accident. I knew I wanted to get another Jeep and I also knew I had to go to here to be taken care of. The service was as always exceptional. Fred is who you need to request an appointment with if you can because he is extremely knowledgeable about the different cars and options. He anticipated my needs and knew I had been doing my research so he had options lined up and ready for me when I got there. I felt welcomed by the whole team like everyone was waiting on me hand and foot to make sure I felt taken care of. Everyone said hello and congratulated me when I decided to make my purchase of my new grand Cherokee. I am extremely satisfied. The thing is I always come back here but with that sometimes with repeated visits you might not get the same service. Not here every single time I have been here over the years they have taken care of me. I am extremely happy with my new Jeep and am looking forward to coming back to Fred in a few years to buy a gladiator for road trips.
