I had the best experience here! All of the guys were so welcoming, I felt really comfortable!! David was my artist and he was perfect!! I will definitely go back and will recommend these guys to everyone! Worth the 2 hour drive!

Slow service, didn’t have much variety in earrings for gauges, and then spent most of the time complaining and swearing about a local competitor. We went to the competitor and had quick, friendly service and they had what we wanted!

My tattoo requests were not fulfilled, I was completely ignored upon just trying to book an appointment, I explained how I wanted my tattoo to look, via email and I suppose my request was ignored due to the color of the piece that I wanted, what a shame!

Everyone here was very sweet! The piercer made me feel very comfortable and you could definitely tell he is very experienced! I hope to go back soon to get another dermal piercing or even a tattoo! Everything was super clean and the shop has a very welcoming atmosphere. I was a walk-in but it took no time at all to get everything set up. Bring your wallet, $160 for a 20 min tattoo. Wife got the same thing only her shading was different. (Wasnt supposed to be).Update 08/2019. Just think its fair to up grade to 4 star and note that in 2 years the color has not changed.

Second visit here in two years. Competitive, good pricing, clean, ornate with a VERY talented, experienced staff for both ink and piercing. Only problem, bring cash. They no longer accept credit cards and do not have an ATM on the premises.

This shop has really gone down hill. Ive come to Taos the last few winter seasons to work at the ski valley and try to visit the shop a few times each year and it just seems like no one cares anymore and is getting run down. The shop is super dusty and dirty. whoever is working the front is very rude and short when asking questions. I was also walking down the side walk a week or so ago(not going to the shop) and the employees seem to have set up some sort of speaker in the bushes to scare people walking by. How is that professional? I get that it might be funny but its not a way to draw customers in.

This tattoo shop is amazing- definitely a gem nestled deep in the desert.The tattoo artists, Teddy and Jesse Bob, both have incredible portfolios of tattoo work as well as a breadth of paintings and artwork in the shop as well. The piecer, Tre, is also the owner of the shop. He has been piercing since the early 90s and runs an incredibly professional business that is beautifully kept and provides a wide assortment of jewelry, artifacts, and other art.This is a great place to visit weather or not you wish to adorn your body with ink or piercings- the art and jewelry in the shop alone are worth a visit.

Ive had an appointment for a piercing multiple times that has been rescheduled or I have just been stood up because their piercer wasnt in or most recently because they were being inspected which I found very odd that I would be rescheduled to be pierced on a day they werent being inspected. Being a concerned parent hoping to eventually bring my daughter in to get pierced, I decided to do some research and found out that they do not even have a licensed piercer on staff and the owner who is unlicensed is piercing. Now I cant say anything about the tattoo artist as I have never had a tattoo from here. I will be going to santa fe from now on.

Wayne was very helpful and worked with my schedule on top of everything it was a chill environment I can wait to go back.

I had the experience of getting tattooed recently from Shakey dave Aka David Solis. I went in on a whim to get tattooed. Horrible attitudes and egos and expensive. The tattoo I got is Shakey and scarred and some lines not even in the skin. It was a very horrible experience. I visited Magical Tattoo and was told that I would need laser surgery to fix what he did. I also found out that this Shakey Dave is UNLICENSED BEGINNER and that this establishment has other UNLICENSED ARTISTS!! wish they wouldve told me before. Now I have to live with this horrible tattoo on my forearm!!!

Dont know if its any good. Hours here say theyre open until 8pm. On their door, it says 7pm, but its 6:30 and theyre closed. Who knows when they are actually open.

Some advice, if your gonna be open til 7pm Tuesday through Friday kinda gotta keep to that. 👎
