Amazing customer service. I went in today (the day before Valentine’s Day) looking for something to get my fiancé. I picked something out, and asked the girl working if she could engrave it today. She said of course!! I put in my personalization and she told me it would be ready in about an hour. I got a text about 30 minutes later that it was ready! So I went to pick it up, and she pulled it out to show me, and to my shock I realized I had put the wrong date I wanted on it. I started freaking out and apologizing and she immediately told me not to worry, that she would fix it! She got the correct date, and told me to come back in about an hour.. Not even 20 minutes later it was ready for me, and it was perfect!!! Jessica was so amazing with helping me out today! I highly recommend going here for any personalized gift you need! They have great prices, and wonderful workers!!

Speedy service considering its the holiday season. They told me it would be 3 hours for the product to be finished; they were done in less than 30 minutes. Customer service was ok, couldve been a lot better. Not surely if it was due to the holiday rush but, the finished product was beautiful!

As I walk through the arched opening I know that whatever I could possibly choose will be expensive enough to upset my wife while knowing shes happy I got it. The staff was incredibly helpful and while there was a small error they were happy to help me and take care of it as soon as possible.

I have always gone here previously for all my gift needs and have had average service, as to be expected. I recommended this store in particular to my parents for a gift they needed. They were ignored and treated very rudley by staff and management the entire time. Once they picked out what they wanted to buy, my father asked for help directly to a staff member and they LITERALLY turned their back to my father and ignored him. When I contacted management about the situation, she was very sarcastic and rude to me over the phone as well. I received a sarcastic, cold hearted excuse of an apology and an EXCUSE as to WHY they mistreated my parents, then she tried twice to end the phone call abruptly. I will never go back and do NOT recommend this place to anyone.

One of my steadfast customer service opinions is that, slammed or not, your store should run like its not busy at all. The end result gift ended up okay, but it was a slightly bumpy road getting there. The iPad terminals they make you use to customize your order is impersonal and unintuitive, and thats even for a 31 year old whos grown up with electronics. A fixable mistake was made on our order and I feel like the merchandise is slightly overpriced, but the prices of the customization services seem fair.

If i could give no stars i would. The manager “Megan” is very unprofessional and extremely rude. She has one person running around helping all these customers and she just stands by watching . Doesn’t help, doesn’t move . You can clearly see the young lady that was working looked extremely over worked . I tried to walk us to the manager and she right away turn me over to the young lady . How rude . I will never support a company that makes all the sales rep/ sales floor / etc. that does everything and the managers does nothing but being disrespectful to us and the employees. I will be taking my business else where and tell everyone i know friends family social media, to never give things remember in southland there business. We are suppose to help each other . Not over work and disrespect people . We are all humans, but it looks like the managers and corporate don’t care about the well being of there staff .

I have never had any purchasing issues from this place and I really like their inventory. They are VERY expensive though, especially to engrave. To have a short phrase added costs more than the items themselves.

If you want custom engraving, save your time and go to a trophy shop. The store claims they do custom engraving on gifts bought elsewhere. Wanted to get a buddies name engraved on a Guardian bell for my motorcycle. After standing at the counter for 5 minutes with everyone doing their own thing, the lady stopped long enough for me to explain what I have and abruptly told me they couldnt do that there. Waste of time.

Great service we ran in for a last minute wedding gift. Found two personalized gifts the sales girl was working alone and very busy but took our order and completed win in an hour.

I have not bought anything here that I have had engraved but I have found that this is a great place to find gifts for the hard to buy for people in the family. I always find odd things that they love like flasks, frames and such.

In the past 2 months, (May & June 2017) I came here twice. Both times, the chubby guy with brown frizzy hair was extremely rude. The first time he followed me & my son around the store and asked us numerous times if he could help us with something, which he didnt seem like he was trying to be helpful, he gave me the impression that he thought we were trying to steal something - NEWSFLASH - I havent ever stolen anything from anyone or any place in my life!! He made it so uncomfortable that we left. Well, because I was really trying to find a special and unique gift for my sons kindergarten teacher, we decided to go back for a 2nd. look. Sadly, the same chubby guy with frizzy hair was there again. This time, even tho there were no other customers in the store, he seemed totally frustrated for unknown reasons to me. I asked him 2 questions about 2 different products, I was as polite and friendly as you can possibly be, and by the time I was getting ready to ask a 3rd question, the guy acted like he couldnt handle it. So I sat the heart back on the shelf and told my son, lets go. Then the guy said, with his nasty nice tone Well, if you have another question, I dont mind to help. Yeah, Ok, buddy, you dont mind....sorry to inform you, its your job to answer questions. Anyway, you blew it. I dont care to shop at stores with unstable employees, so I spent $97 at the Hallmark in Woodhaven. Very nice ladies there at Hallmark, so if you shop here at Things remembered and deal with the frizzy hair guy that has a stank attitude, just go to Hallmark. You wont be able to get a gift engraved, but they have tons to choose from and super friendly, helpful, and professional employees.

Things Remembered store in Southland Mall was a life-saver; they corrected my engraving error within half hour, no questions asked-thank you!!

They dont even get a star rating i had to give a 1 star just to post it, bought something on black friday. Say they will call on the 16th of this month, still no call. Tried to call got put on hold for 10 minutes and then busy tone. Ha okay, just saying you want something for a gift thats for a holiday or birthday and has to be for a certain day. DO NOT GO HERE, they wont call you or even update on your productoh and to add to it, they said the gift would be here BEFORE Christmas. now its still on back order and probably wont be here till after the new year, wow what a useless store.
