I love this course. Ive been golfing on it for 17 years or so. Im not a great golfer and only get out maybe 2 or 3 times a year, so a nice par 3 is exactly what works for me. It was a great place for my kids to learn to golf because it wasnt super challenging. My 8 year old was able to par several holes. Now that he is 18, Im sure he appreciates the confidence golfing on a real course and having successful shots when he was younger. It is a clean and comfortable course with lots of shade around the box. The back 9 is reasonably challenging, but still not something you feel like a total failure on. The staff is friendly and I just really enjoy it. Thanks for a great course! Im going to miss it since Im moving to Dallas in a couple weeks.

Great course! Well maintained and fun to play. Especially fun to play to brush up on using your irons.

Great memories and a good little refresher. Late into the season but it was a good day to go. Took my mother in law and her daughters golfing here as I did as a kid

I almost don’t want to leave this positive review. I know it will just make it more popular, and I kinda want it to stay low-key! My friends and I golf here many times a week, love the course, it’s well maintained and challenging.

Jason is the man and made my sons day by giving him a colored gold ball before the round. I remember Brad and Ferrell teaching me on Monday mornings during the summer when I was young. This place is somewhere I will always look forward to taking my children. So many memories. Thanks guys.

The course is great! They maintain it like it was a PGA. Course design for a clientele that want quality in an Executive & Par Three course. Ms Julie and staff are very professional.

Personally I love this golf course I go fairly often but the reason I’m leaving a one star is strictly because of the lady Julie I believe is her name is she ruins the experience every time my brother wears hearing aids and he forgot them one time so he couldn’t hear and she was criticizing about him that he can hear me even though he wasn’t responding clearly he can’t hear you and every time I see her she’s beyond rude in every way possible she takes little jabs at us even though far as I know we haven’t done anything to upset her but it does feel like she’s strictly after us and honestly ruins the whole experience every single time we have to deal with her

The customer service was extremely poor. And the lady at the font desk has a very bad attitude. We’ve been here multiple times and she is always rude to us. The golfing is good. And the terrain is nice. But the front desk lady sucked.

I just play the par 3 course for now. But a great course.

Probably my favorite Course in SLC, a hidden Gem in the city of Taylorville .Always well taken care of, the people are super friendly and for the price you cant go wrong! I Highly recommend it.

This is a nice course. Greens are fast. You can play the par 3 in about an hour and a half. Very affordable course and they still had tee times when many other courses were full. Overall great course.

Worst customer service. Idk who answers the phone but she was so rude. I left my hydro flask on a cart and called a couple times to see if it had been turned into lost and found not being rude at all, and she hung up on me! Never golfing here again.

The executive course is a little short. However its good for all skill levels and is very well maintained. Greens were super nice.

Very disappointed with the costumer service over the phone. No “hi how are you” no “bye have a good day”.. asked if club rentals were available the answer was “nope” then I said Okay thank you have a-.. then I was hung up on. Because of this I will take my service somewhere else.

They have a rude staff, they charge inconsistently, sometimes more other times less and always have something rude to say even though we have been nothing but polite. Also on one of our visits there was a dead rat right at the start of a hole.

The par 3 course at Fore Lakes is one of my favorite places to practice. The driving range is nice as well as you always have the choice to hit off of grass or mats. The courses are always in good shape and priced fair. Favorite hole on the executive course is the only par 5 #5 and on the par 3 side would be over water #5.

Good mini golf course. Fun to play in; the whole course is kept in good shape, and its not very expensive for a golf course. It has a calm and friendly atmosphere. I had a good time playing here.

I just played the 9 hole Executive course this morning for the first time. I called for a tee time last night and didnt have a prob getting the time I wanted. (However it is LDS Conference so I cant say if thats typical for a Sat) It is a REALLY fun short 9 hole Executive course! Price wasnt bad @ $18 for a cart and the 9 hole Ex course. They also have a 9 hole par 3 course, which I havent played yet. The Ex course was neatly manicured and there are a few water hazards. Ill definitely play there again when Im wanting to play a quick 9 hole course!

I was two groups behind Mr. Whitehead. His group was 2 holes behind the people in front of him and had the course tied up with slow play. Fore Lake Golf Course is very well maintained, well managed and fun to play. Julie does a great job in the pro shop and the maintaince people are top notch. Its not a hackers course. Of course if you are a hacker, you will tie up the course behind you.

Julie at the front has to be the worst customer service representative in the state of Utah. She was absolutely unreasonable and had the worst attitude ever. Seriously give that lady the grumpiest award. Definitely will not be back.

Great place to learn. I took lessons there and my son will take lessons there too. The par 3 is fun. Easy course to walk.

FYI, Current PGA golfer (Tony Finau) played on this course with me and always kicked my butt as a teenager. Its our home course and we absolutely love this place--especially at 64 yrs old and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and morning walks playing golf.

Great place to golf and the prices are cheap. There is one hole that has a lake you have to hit it over. Its really fun.

Played in a threesome with two adults and a 9-year-old. Hes not Tiger Woods, but he does fine. Our pace of play was perfect (Im a stickler for etiquette). However, some idiot put a twosome behind us who apparently complained about the speed of our THREESOME WITH A 9-YEAR-OLD IN IT. Cmon kids. Everyone knows its a duffers course. Thats why we take our son there. Not planning to go back there again!

I am a new golfer (3 mos) and was in SLC for business. I wanted to play a 9 hole course while in town, so I found this place. Ill be honest, it was the cheapest place I found, and being a new golfer, I didnt need anything too tough. The staff was friendly over the phone, and was a huge help getting me squared away with my tee time. I arrived early enough to hit a small bucket off the range, and met another out of towner, so we played together. The Course was unbelievable (imo). Greens were very well kept, fairways were nice and wide. The putting greens were in perfect shape. The Mountains in the background, made for a great view. Being from Texas, I do not get to see that on my local courses. The were not a lot of hazards, but enough to challenge a beginner golfer like my self. I absolutely love course and highly recommend it. I will be back.

Easy access, nice course, great people

My wife and I went to Fore Lakes with friends a few weekends ago. The woman working was EXTREMELY rude to us. Did not make eye contact, and only spoke if necessary. There was actually venom in her tone.Maybe she was having a bad day?Apparently not, since the very next two sets of people through the door she was all rainbows and sunshine.Unfortunately I dont remember her name, but if she reads these she knows who she is.I used to go there all the time. Never again.

They do a fantastic job at maintaining the course. Much better than larger courses.

This was my first time ever golfing. I know there are better golf courses out there but this one was clean, well maintained and perfect for beginners and intermediates.

Decent course but the staff is worthless. The guy lectured me for being late when I showed up early for my tee time. He spent 5 minutes telling me the rules of golf and got pissy when I gave him a few rules back. He grilled me on keeping up with the pace of play, now I wait on every hole cuz the group in front of me cant keep up to pace.
