I really like this place. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly and he takes time to explain things for a novice like myself. Thank you so much! Oh, and price is very reasonable. Sure, you can search the web, call various stores, punch some numbers on the calculators and get a better deal perhaps. Maybe 5 to 10%. Is it worth it? Not for me. I rather go to a friendly and knowledgeable place where I can have a good conversation about my project. This is a such place.

Today I went to a local feed and seed store, small local business, to make a purchase. The doorbell rang when I entered and I could hear male voices in the adjacent office area. Apparently an argument was escalating between male employees and at least one began yelling and dropped the F bomb several times. I was deciding if I should leave when one of the employees announced he was leaving and dropped the F bomb again as he was walking out and as he saw me standing there. He stormed out and finally another employee came out of the same room and preceded to wait on me. It was kind of uncomfortable, he offered a weak sorry. The more I thought about it today the more insulted I felt. I am NO prude but as a customer and a lady I feel I should have been offered a sincere apology. And apparently they didnt care to begin with or they would have put their argument on hold as soon as I came in the door. (I assume the loud doorbell is to alert them that a customer has entered the store). These may have been the owners, managers or employees, Im not sure. But with larger businesses coming into the community I would think the smaller local businesses would be stepping up their customer service but I definitely will not be patronizing this business again.

Everytime I have gone into this store they are very helpful. They know the product and what you are needing. Highly recommend!
