Robert was the salesman who took care of me, and he did an awesome job. I flew in from California to buy my car, and he made the whole experience seamless. They stood by everything they promised, and Robert even picked me up at the airport. I would definitely recommend Chapman Chevrolet for all new car purchases.

My girlfriend and I were shopping around for a used truck. We walked into Chapman and were treated like royalty. We previously stopped at multiple dealerships and were ignored or not even approached. Johnny found exactly what we were looking for. Dan, the Finance Director was so helpful and really made me feel confident in our decisions. He was so knowledgeable and really made us feel like family. We have and will continue to refer people we know to Chapman and it’s because of them. Their customer service is superb and we will continue to come here for our future purchases. Thank you again!

Went to have a recall done on my passenger airbag. Refused to do the $1600 dollar in repairs that they recommended. Went to pick it up and the ac on the drivers side wasnt working. Husband pulled in to talk to the manager that couldnt tell us how long it would take to find the problem. 20 minutes later get a call that it works fine when he got into the bay and that it was a door sensory issue and it may happen again. $500 to replace if I wanted. This experience makes me want to take it to my mechanic just to see what they did. So unhappy with the experience. Do better.

You pay a premium to use their service center, but it is not a premium service. 2 months ago, I paid to have a 100k mile checkup (inspection, fluids change, etc.). That cost around $1,000. I asked them to check my oil on this trip since my car was sitting during Covid, but the lady never put it in the system and it never got done (Ill make this a separate review in a bit).Fast forward to now, and after paying $1,000 for an inspection, my alternator goes out and my car has an oil leak. If one thing failed, I would understand. However, this was two major repairs right after the car getting inspected and barely going a few thousand miles (literally only 2 months after). There were a few other things wrong as well; this added another $3,000+ in repairs.My service rep for the most recent trip, was great. He updated me on the car throughout the process and is the only reason I am giving this company one star instead of zero.That being said, I asked for them to give me a price on the car so he sent it to a sales rep. This is where it gets even more ridiculous. The sales member called once, but I was in an interview so I asked for them to call again. I then proceeded to have to call the sales rep 3 different days, leaving 3 different voicemails, and I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. I was bewildered at the lack of follow up form the sales team. What type of sales team doesnt check their voicemails?I used to go through this company for all repairs because I thought it was worth paying almost twice as much more than everywhere else. I have learned my lesson and do not recommend going here.Not only will you pay more for repairs you cant trust, but the sales team apparently does not have their division under control.

Check in service man John was pleasant and thorough. Only drawback was I had to wait for tech to do his job and unfortunately they only had one tool for a fuel injection cleaning. Tech had to share, so I had to wait until it was here s turn to use tool!

OMG, Gale you made everything special!!! Love you!My fiance and I went to get her a newer car. I went to protect her from the predators in the industry looking for a guppy.Gale was our sales associate who handled my wifes unique credit history with grace and class. We couldn’t use a local dealer to have our Bolt’s recall fixed as their service center wasn’t capable, so we had to travel over 100 miles to Tempe. I arranged for our Bolt to be charged at the end of recall fix, but when we signed in and I requested that service, there was no record of my request. Then the technician told me it would take hours to charge. When I asked him if Chapman’s had a fast charger, he didn’t know. Finally, after my persistence, he agreed to charge it - on the fast charger. I thought when an electric vehicle was purchased from a Chevy dealer that free charging was a complimentary service with no objections. Sure didn’t seem that way!Also, the recall fix isn’t a fix, it’s just a warning system. FIX MY BATTERY TO MAKE IT SAFE!!!

Worst experience disappointing service I’ve ever had and the most disturbing issue is they screwed up on the recall the thing they did for free for safety reasons to save lives they did not put the ring back in the fuel pressure regulator so when I started my car fuel went everywhere and since I was inside of the car I did not see it until I got out and spraying all over the valve covers and the exhaust manifold...you had my car for four days to fix the lock cylinder for the ignition And really beyond words screw up the fuel pressure regulator it wasn’t even attached it was just sitting up there.now I know my car old and it may be a piece of junk to everybody else but that is my car and me and my family right around in that car and you guys did not check your work you just threw it together take your sweet time doing it and in the end they could’ve killed me and my daughter.Dealer part or not I will never ever bring my vehicle back to Chapman Chevrolet ever you people are the worst.And on top of everything else they disconnected my horn and did not reconnect it, what else am I going to discover... Absolutely horrible service and ordeal..

I hardly ever write reviews, but I will never take my vehicle back. I dropped my car off at 7am for diagnosis and my car didnt even get looked at until 3 days later. The communication is horrible with just sending texts. I took it upon myself to drive down there with my other car to see whats going on. I was looking to speak with someone because I was never able to get ahold of anyone. After going in person, they finally decided to get the ball rolling with diagnosing and fixing my car. The cherry on top was being quoted one price then later on it going up another $100. TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE.

He actually listened to what we wanted and worked to put us in something that was going to work for us. Our finance guy was fast and friendly as well. I initially called the Costco Auto Program to look at a 2021 Camaro only to find out that the only car of this model available in this program was a standard transmission. I did not want a standard transmission and informed Mr. Ray Russo that I only wanted an automatic transmission. Mr. Ray Russo sent me a text to inform me that he had a white 2021 automatic in stock. After a phone call, a voice message and a couple of text messages left by Ray, he informed us that he had a white camaro cleaned and ready for us to test drive. We showed up at 230 on 4 Sept, took the car for a test drive and commenced to complete the purchase process. Ray is a true personality plus and is a people person through and through. As far as the whole car buying process is concerned, we did not feel any high pressure sales or seen any standard car salesman shenanigans. We actually felt very comfortable during the whole process from the time we showed up, was escorted to see Ray by the front manager, met Ray, witnessed how Ray and Brian work as a team to complete the sale and then we met Paul, who is a real people person and took the time to explain all of the financial details. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and very pleased with our experience at Chapman Chevrolet.

Worst repair service ever. I bought my truck here and had great service but when I brought it in for some warranty work they kept my truck for over 3 weeks.Oil change forget it; it will take all dayA/C compressor change 4 daysOnce they called me and said your vehicle is ready. My spouse drove me to pick it up and left thinking the vehicle was done. A half hour later the service person said your vehicle isnt ready we will call you an Uber...Next service I am going somewhere else; hopefully they will value my time and treat me and my truck better.

Not a small job, but Joe in the service department, made this interaction pleasant and did everything he could to make it as painless as possible. It took over three hours to get my oil changed and tires rotated today. Keep in mind that I had an appointment and I was in the express “queue”.I should have packed a lunch.They also try to nickel and dime you for services that your vehicle does not need.I’m never coming back. What can I say, if Tyler was not a employee there I would not do business at Chapman, I drove 50 miles (round trip) to just get a oil change with Tyler, I do not care for the gal that uses the “bull dog approach “ when I arrived I already was set up with Tyler but yet she Bull digest her way in and was negative from the jump when I explained I’ve been talking to Tyler and wanted to only talk with Tyler she was salty and her attitude got worst ( it was already horrible ) from the second I pulled up, but when I seen Tyler, my visit got so much better and assured me I was in good hands and he got me in and out in 30 minutes ! The Bull Dog approach I personally think is bad for business, there’s other ways for asking for the sale I can go anywhere for a oil change but drove by 4 cities and 50 miles just to do business with Tyler, and therefore he gets my business, I have 6 cars and have scheduled all 6 cars with Tyler and he assured me that there is No “Bull Dog “ approach

We signed a put a down payment on a Tahoe that had not been delivered yet. Once we left, there was 0 follow up with us. Our terms and payment changed and the Tahoe came in 4 days after we were told it would be in. Again, we had to call/text to find out any information. Once we said we wanted the Tahoe, we did not hear anything from sales lady. The day the Tahoe finally came in, my husband and I were still debating on the payments. It was $170 more than we wanted to pay. We told the sales lady that we don’t think we can pay that and she instantly became rude and told us they will Mail our down payment back and it would take a few days and hung up. She called back a few minutes later and told us we had to bring in our card and receipt and then they can issue our refund and again hung up. She was very rude and since we were still on the fence about the Tahoe, we made up our minds and we definitely did not want to do business with her or the company.

The service advisor was friendly, communicated through many devices, text, email, in person and phone. I was doing a 45,000 mile service, changing all of the fluids, they did locate other problems and took care of them, by notifying me and then I approved the extra repairs. I am traveling to CA next week, I will feel safer traveling in my 2016 Colorado, knowing that the truck is in better condition.

I loved the service they gave me for my car but when you need something done they make you go in circles. I called the customer service line and they told me I had to go in person to fill out something to get a refund on something I wanted. When I went in person they told me I had to come back on Tuesday to fill out the paperwork or give them a call. I am a working mother the only time I have free is on the weekends. I wish their people were more informed on the phone because I just wasted gas for no reason. Never coming back to this place or buying a car ever again so tired of running in circles with them.

I came down earlier today to meet with Dylan about a Tahoe that I inquired about online. I initially set up an appointment for Saturday, and then received an email from Dylan saying to ask for him when I came down. A hole opened up in my schedule, so I asked if it would be okay to come down now, and was told that was fine. I get down there, meet with Dylan, and as were walking outside am told that the vehicle I asked about was actually pre-sold, and not available for a test drive or to see. Why are pre-sold cars being advertised on your website as available? When someone schedules a time to come down there to see it and test drive it, why are we not told prior to coming down that it is not available so that my time is not wasted? There was one show Tahoe on site, but the best that could be done for me was to open the door and look in, as I was not allowed to sit in it. . .let alone test drive it. This was an absolute waste of time, that could have (and should have) been easily avoided. While Im still in the market for a Tahoe, I can assure you I will be purchasing it somewhere other than Chapman Chevrolet.

We just bought a new chevy and booked its first oil change for 11:00am. Upon arrival we were told it would take up to an hour and a half to be done—whatever we can wait. Almost two hours later it was finally pulled into the shop and started the routine inspection and oil change. My husband didn’t leave until after 2:00pm. As someone who can change their own oil & knows how long it takes to change it, I thought it would be a nice break for myself for once but ended up causing much more of a headache.

The lady in the parts department is really nice as well as the guy with they hat who was going to help me replace my gas cap which I figured they do free since we got the car from there and they have helped in the past however the manager was extremely rude. He told the guy that they don’t help customers mind you they have in the past. It was really poor customer service on his end considering. I know for next time that I will contact his supervisor if this ever happens again because even Firestone said that the dealer where we got the car does it for free. Overall being 8 months pregnant with a toddler and still didn’t receive service was really tough and not living close to the dealer to drive all the way over there to not get the help. To have to find someone outside to help assist me. Just overall poor customer service in the managers part and he should really learn from his surrounding employees.

I take care of my car, give it maintenance when it needs it, dont skimp out on services and dont drive like a maniac but that didnt stop my car from just dying on me. My 2018 Equinox was shaking and not accelerating past 5mph with the gas petal all the way down. Took it into the shop, couldnt get them to look at my car for 4 days.The issue resembles a Power Train recall on 2018 Equinoxes but my VIN isnt in the pool for that issue so they worked on something else. My service guy was Ron and he said it was a fuel pump problem and replaced it, I paid for the service, and I came and picked it up. It worked fine for the 5 minutes it takes to get home.I leave to go get dinner with my family 3 hours later and I get 2 blocks away before it happened all over again. I had to put my Equinox into Neutral and push it back home so it wasnt left on the street. The next day I had my car towed back to have the SAME issue and tell them to fix my car before they make me pay for something that isnt resolved.My new service person is Tyler. They had my car for almost 3 weeks, including the first week with Ron, and all I know they replaced the Fuel Pump, updated the ECM, and replaced the O2 censor. They claim the main issue was that I got a bad tank of gas from a gas station I have been going to for years. My car is working again but I still dont feel comfortable driving it, that is my issue to deal with. They paid for the second service, which was nice but still had to pay the first repair, rental, and tow of my vehicle so still spent $1,000 on this problem.You might be better off taking your car to Courtesy Chevy over Chapmen with your issues. Oil changes they can do, selling cars they can do. Fix major problems? No, I dont think so. If you work with Ron, make sure you ask and have him show you what and where they fixed things so you can make sure he isnt selling you garbage and taking your money.

6 stars for fleet sales team, -2 stars for service. Why would anyone get service here when one takes the time to make an appointment and upon arrival is told they will be sent to the back of the line for a “2 hours or more wait” for an oil change. That is not customer service, it’s taking customers for granted. Why even make appointments if you won’t honor them? At least I learned early that you don’t care (as proved by the “oh well” shrug as I indicated that I wouldn’t waste 2 hours). Hopefully there is another dealership which will appreciate my business and understands the meaning and purpose of an appointment.This review will balance out the great reviews you’ll have from all the people in line who showed up without appointments and were placed in line in front of the chumps who made appointments. Their continued patronage will no doubt make the loss of mine irrelevant, but hopefully other busy people will read this and save themselves the wasted time.

Felt ripped off big time, simple procedures ended up costing me one thousand dollars. The shop somehow lost my oil cap while I was in there, and I had to pay $30 for a new one, let alone ludicrous service charges that were almost double the parts themselves. Was not impressed with the car salesman, very dirty inside the small bulding, stains on chairs, dust on the blinds thick layer.My husband and I loved working with the Dan Landers he needs to train all the sales people on customer service and how to actually sale a car and not be that shady sales person.When looking at the salesman office in the small bulding I was disgusted by the appearance, with Taco Bell sauce in a pile on a desk in the corner, a sign that tells you to clock out, also a sign that tells you to be quiet.Larger building was clean and the workers were very nice and had great customer service.

Drop off and hand over went smooth. Ryan was very attentive of my comments on miscellany things that need attention. The service status tracker was neat although it seems to have some sort of delay. The sign off sheet for the services had some confusing entries which required a discussion. Pick up was fast. Tyler did a great job... given a few details were missing in the final invoice, but he very quickly followed up with the tech team and appraised me of the information. I wanted to know.

I was ill and not in the right frame of mind to make this purchase. The very next morning I called to see if they could cancel it or at least put it on hold so I could get a vehicle that I was happier with. I was told no. I went down the next day to look at what it would take to get me in a different vehicle and was extremely disappointed in what Chapman was willing to do. When I went in for my routine oil change they did a 360° inspection of my vehicle and informed me that I had a number of services that were in need of “immediate attention“ one of those services was my front and rear brakes, they stated that both of my brakes were in need of replacement and the rotors need to be resurfaced. It would have cost me $238 each. I didn’t want to pay that much so I took my car to another mechanic who informed me that my front and rear brake were not bad and I could get another 3 to 6 months out of the front brakes and at least another year out of the back brakes. Still not satisfied I went to another mechanic who told me the same thing. It’s a good thing that I did a little extra legwork otherwise I would’ve been out of almost $500 for brakes that were not in need of “immediate attention“**Much better experience. I bought a car with some major obstacles for getting licensed (not from this dealership). Bryan Lamer in the service department went above and beyond to get me the information I needed. It was a complex situation with a lot of confusion and he personally called to follow up on the situation and confirm the details, making sure I always had print outs of the information as well. He was even nice and not too upset when I cried in his office from all the stress. All around, very helpful and very much appreciated during a tough time.

Do your homework before purchasing a vehicle here. Trim levels not matching what is advertised. The system they use to pull vin numbers do not match with the manufacturer. I purchased a used vehicle expecting a certain trim and after more research, I received the lesser. Some of my documents state the trim advertised..Spoke with one of the managers, who was very apologetic, and was told he addressed the issue with the marketing team. Overall experience at the dealership was good. Salesperson wasnt pushy, and process went smooth. Just wished I did more of my homework.

Will not get my oil changed here again. I have complained several times about my truck dripping oil in my garage when I get it home, (duramax diesel) Enough is enough. Shame on you Chapman you could do better, maybe your competitors will.

Ive been doing business with Chapman Chevrolet for about 4 years now. They always go above and beyond to take care of my needs. This last trip in there, I had new custom wheels and tires mounted and balanced on my 2017 Silverado. I asked for new tpms sensors to be installed on the wheels. They only had 2 but they got the other 2 within a very short time. I also had the transmission serviced. They always do a great job!

I had my 2013 chevy traverse in the service center for about 3 days and a few hours my check engine light is back on. I changed my battery and when i read the paperwork, i had already did some of the recomendations beright before the truck went in. They recomended changing the cabin air filter. I have a brand new cabon filter in the truck its less than 2 weeks old. The recomended changing the air flow filter, it is also less than 2 weeks old. The recomended the map sensor be changed. I had also too the truck to a local orileys and put it on the maching and the told me the map sensor was the issue. I bought the new part and changed that also befor bringing the truck in. They also recomended i have my fuel lines cmflushed, i recently changed my gas cap to one with a key before taking the truck in. They say the flushed to fuel system, i wantbto know how was that possible when i never gave them the key to the gas tank. Im so dissapointed because all of that and my check engin light is still on. This is sad comming from the dealer that i bought the truck from. My bill is over 2000 and this is what i walk away from the dealership with. So sad but i may have to now get a second openion on this work. Completely unsatisfactory.

Please do not take your car here to get it serviced. My car was running like a champ till I took my car to Chapman. I never leave reviews, but if I can save some one else of going through what I went through I feel it is well worth it. Also the customer service was really bad. Dont waste your time or money if you do you will be sorry.

The sale floor managers will say what they need to say to get you to purchase the vehicle, and let their service team deal with the backlash of unfulfilled promises. If the car buying experience is important to you, i would recommend doing so elsewhere.

I Finance a new 2020 malibu. So I thought was new did know I was buying a loner car 352 miles was said was test drives. How many people do you know test drive cars with there mail. That I found between the seat. I should have been told it was used as a loaner car. Im paying almost 40( for a new loaner car. Must be very proud of your honesty and ethical manner. thank you for my new loaner car.

I recently bought a car here and it was kind of a mess. My sales agent Corey told me it would be $250 over the phone but when I went they tried telling me it would be $500 a month.The most concerning thing is that there’s an Engine Temperature Warning. It came in the same day I got the car. When I told them about it they didn’t bother looking into it. They just said it didn’t come on for them. Yet it’s still coming on for me every time I turn on the car. They claimed they did a mechanical check but Im skeptical that they did.They sold me an SUV that had a spare key that didn’t work at all. They told me to go to the manufacture versus attempting to fix the issue.Something was wrong with the windshield so they had it redone and told me they couldn’t detail the car due to this issue. The car had to be detailed 24 hours later. There were tape marks due to the advertisement on the car and even after I took the car to get detailed they were still there. There were water spots on the rear view mirror and they were still there even after they supposedly detailed the car and even took down the rosary like they did something.

Well, I went to get a SUV. I had a General Motors Car Voucher. CHAPMAN CHEVROLET They kept messing me around for 3 to 4 Days. They wanted me to give them $ 3,000 dollars up front. I always used a voucher with my trade in. Never had to put nothing down. Also one of their guys that worked there said they were trying to beat me out my money. So Guess What ? I went Somewhere Else and got a Truck. A SUV and They Financed me. So thanks for nothing Chapman Chevrolet. I dont drive nothing but General Motors CARS and SUVs .

I made an 8 am appt 6-29 to take my leased car in for getting a tire filled, it is always low. i get there and FINALLY get checked in, BEFORE 8 am, and am told it will be an hour at least to just fill a tire. i asked about a ride home if it was going to be so long, and I am told. Lyft will be called and i have to pay for it going home and coming back!!I live 1 1/2 miles from Chapman Chev, but is TOO CHEAP to have a shuttle, which it used to have. Chapman service doesnt give a d*mn about being on time for a booked appt and the service man doesnt give a CR*P about the customers and how they are to get home or get back.DO NOT USE this service dept!! you will be SORRY!

Again I did not appreciate Tyler lying to me lying to a manager on things that was not wrong with my car and things that got broken on my car when they messed it up something that should only cost me $135. Was going to end up costing me $15,000 I prefer to have my money back the $191 that I spent Im done with dealing with anything with Chapman.

I had an appointment scheduled for late morning on a Saturday. When I arrived at the dealership I was told that they were backed up and was asked if I was okay with leaving my car. This is the second time I have scheduled an appointment and been informed that they were backed up and had to wait a ridiculously long time for my car to be looked at. By late afternoon/early evening I hadnt heard an update about my car, so I texted my service rep who responded and told me they likely wouldnt get to my car until Monday. When I schedule an appointment, to me that means that there should be a spot open for my car to be looked at at that given time. Now I understand that sometimes things get busier than expected, but at the very least I expect my car to be looked at same day, and I definitely expect to be called if my car is going to be kept overnight for the rest of the weekend. The lack of communication in notifying me that my car was going to be kept the entire weekend without my verbal consent is a huge issue for me. Apparently my service rep thought he had informed me when I dropped my car off, but I did not hear him say that my car might not get looked at until Monday as I would never have agreed to let me car sit at a dealership for an entire weekend if it wasnt going to be looked at until Monday. That being said, it seems to me that Chapman has an overbooking problem. I will not be servicing my car at Chapman in the future.
