It was my first time and rode with coworkers. It was busy at lunchtime, and thats usually a good sign. It definitely was in this case. I went for the Thursday special, hot pastrami sandwich, but others had fried chicken and other sandwiches. Reviews were positive all around.Good food, plenty of seating and reasonable prices.Ill be back!

This place was okay. The potatoe salad sucked, it tasted horrible. The #8 sandwiche good, nothing to brag over but filled me up and tastes OK. The service was amazing, they were on a lunch rush and took everyones order and brought out the sandwiches with ease. The location was clean and even though it was busy they still manage to clean the tables when someone left. I am going to come back and try the fried chicken, but never eating the potatoes salad again. Ther are a little pricey, but everything is now a days.

Im from out of town and have only been here once. But the El jefe breakfast burrito was so good I had to post a review. This is the best breakfast burrito Ive ever had! Filled with all sorts of stuff, you could say this for lunch or dinner as well.

I purchased a foot long turkey sub and it was delicious overall. Every bite was full of meat and toppings. I highly recommend this place if looking for sub sandwiches they are well worth it👌🏽💯. They also serve other foods on the menu.

I believe this is the first restaurant to tell me “we don’t have water cups.” Their cheese selection is limited to provolone or provolone, so hopefully you’re cool with that. My hot pastrami sandwich was good for the first bite, but it had too much mustard, and the pastrami tasted exactly like Safeway Select deli cuts had been warmed in the microwave.Seriously y’all, I don’t understand the hype. The food was incredibly mediocre, and customer service at the counter was sub-par. On the plus side there was ample seating. Maybe I need to order a different sandwich next time, but truthfully I’m not inclined to come back.

AZ Sandwich Co. is probably one on my favorites places to get a good quality, hand made sandwich (sub style). It ranks up there with Cheba Hut, my other favorite sandwich shop. Fresh meats, toppings and good quality bread. I really like the #8, the Sparky sandwich. Always have good, fast service. The foot long is a BIG sandwich. Very filling. I feel like a Python that just ate a deer when I am done.

If you guys are backordered to the point where it takes you a half hour to make a single sandwhich, maybe give me a heads up at the register so I dont spend my entire lunch break without getting to eat.

I used to absolutely love this place, but awhile back they changed the bread they used, have much smaller portions and have become pretty snobby. Still a good sandwich shop.

Quite simple, no other subs compare! The bread is fresh and soft. The meat is a hardy portion, perfectly shaved, moist not dry. The condiments are perfectly portioned and evenly spread. Every bite is the same! Its so nice to have an even bite of ingredients throughout the sandwich! Perfection!

Some of the best sandwiches Ive ever had! The potato salad was delicious as well. They have a loyalty punch card where your 10th combo meal is free, so thats pretty cool. I was told today that this is the last Saturday they will be open, so moving forward, theyll only be open Monday through Friday, 6am to 6pm, so keep that in mind before heading over there. Honestly cant recommend this place enough, it is just high quality food at a fair, if slightly expensive, price. The amount of food you get, I think, would be viewed as a little on the smaller side, but it was surprisingly filling, at least for me.

Love the sandwiches, stopped giving military discount though... why? Looks like Ill be going somewhere else for lunch everyday. Thanks for the discount while it lasted.

When you arrive at the Arizona sandwich company is one of the first things that you notice is the lack of pretense. With its industrial cafeteria style its not much to look at. I came in during the lunch rush and the line was managed quickly and competently. The menu contains all the sandwiches you would expect and I ordered the Arizona bomber combo which comes with a sandwich and your choice of potato salad macaroni salad or potato chips and a drink. This came out to a total of $9.98 after tax. They have Pepsi products in the drink machine but they have a wide variety of bottled beverages in the line. Somehow they manage the not so awesome feet of making a dry potato salad which set my expectations for the coming sandwich pretty low. But Ive never been happier to be so wrong about something. the sandwich wasnt as long as you might get at Subway or firehouse or something like that but what it left and length it more than made up for in girth. The sandwich was packed with meat from end-to-end. I will definitely be coming back but next time Im going to try the macaroni salad.

Been going here for years! The sandwiches are incredible. The bread is always soft and fresh, the portions are generous, and the sandwiches are all great but my favorite is the Italian Bomber.

Sandwiches are large and better than the average sandwich shops. They get fairly busy during the work week, but they dont usually have you waiting too long.

The Cold Brew coffee is my go to drink here. The pastrami sandwich was hot and tasty, and the El Jefe Burrito was pretty good. Not something Id get all the time personally.The inside is very basic, nothing fancy or exceptional. But nothing dirty or terrible. Its a decent spot to grab and go lunch or breakfast in the area.

Ive been going here for the last 4 or 5 years. Their quality was consistently remained high. Their service is super fast even during lunch time, though I tend to avoid them or any place around that time. Their expanded building is much nicer too.

I’ve been coming to AZ Sandwhich company for years and it’s been a consistently great place for a tasty meal. If your into ice tea they have some of the best unsweetened peach tea! Also, a little known fact is they are open early for breakfast. You can’t go wrong with the bacon egg and cheese croissant and Claudia has perfected the art of making a perfect latte.

These sandwiches are delicious. The sparky #8 is my favorite. The chicken noodle soup is a little thick but not unbearable to eat.

Been going for lunch during work for about 2 years. They recently expanded into the storefront next door and have a much larger space. Sandwiches have always been good. Two recent issues to call out.1. Taking a lot longer to prepare the sandwiches now that the cashier area is further from the kitchen. Not sure if this is fallout from a newer ticket entry system or something else, but very noticeable difference in wait times.2. Was told they are no longer offering water cups. Simply crazy and reason probably not to return. You can’t get a cup to put tap water into.UPDATE 7/14/2019:After the reasonable response (below) from the business owner, Ill be returning to AZ Sandwich Co for lunch again. Thank you for explaining the business reasoning behind the discontinuation of the plastic water cups.

Super cool. Its a sandwich shop. The service is fast the layout is awesome. It avoids getting customers jammed into one tiny waiting space. Portion sizes are good, flavor is very good. Prices are reasonable. I would eat there again.

This place has the best sandwiches hands down. You know they have great ones when they go from a small single room shop to practically the size of a cafeteria with tables that can seat 40 people. And it is easy to see why. The bread is fresh daily, the sandwiches made to order right then, all the ingredients including the lettuce are fresh, and best of all, they dont skimp! These sandwiches can even satisfy a 200lbs + 65 construction worker and make him leave satisfied. They have all sides like chips, salads that are made fresh, cookies, fruit, and just about every drink option you can image. Best of all, a sandwich, chips, a drink, and a cookie are 12 bucks out the door! Go here and only here if you want the best sandwich ever!

I always have a wonderful experience here. The bread is FANTASTIC!! I had the #8 Sparky combo which is a turkey, bacon & avocado sub with chips and a drink and it was delicious. The atmosphere is light and fun its usually a combination of the college & work crowd gathering for lunch. They play great background music as well.

Ive been to AZ Sandwich CO various times over the past few years, always quality food but sometimes really busy to grab a quick sandwich on lunch break. Stopped today for a breakfast bite and was surprised to see they expanded to twice the size. Met the owner, super nice guy. Had a great croissant w egg and cheese. They now have coffee and adding more vegetarian options soon. Give it a try! Nice to eat local!!

Located across the street from QT. Fresh bread, soups and salads. Breakfast also available. Coffee bar and catering offered. Plenty of high top tables/stools for groups or large parties. They are only open Monday thru Friday. I like that they open at 6a.m. I usually get the Sparkey. Turkey, bacon and avocado its delicious.

This place has amazing Food, service and atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone. And get the white bread. Its great.

Husband and I stopped off today for a bite while on the road in the valley. We were pleasantly surprised at the taste of our sandwiches, but I got sick mid bite. No idea why or what happened, just stomach rejecting food. Nothing seemed wrong. Got home and finished my juice to no ill effect, though my stomach is still incredibly sore. Cant say it was the sandwich, my stomach doesnt work great... so be careful with the works if you are sensitive.

The place is not cheap but worth every cent!I spent around $35. with delivery for a foot long, a 20 OZ sprite in the bottle- No ice - no cup- a downer. A rice Crispy type treat and a couple of choc chip cookies. The sub was a monster. Just like the pictures, tons of deli meat, that was high quality, plus lots of fresh fixings.Made just the way I ordered. It was 2 inches high! I had 4 meals off the Italian Sub. The menu says $7.95 but the actual price was $17 bucks for the big one. The half size was $10. Uber eats delivered for next to nothing and 15 min delivery in the morning, not a busy time for sandwiches.The trend I am seeing is for delivery menus to not offer fountain drinks. Just bottled drinks. I want the same meal as if I came in. I really want my root beer iced and in a cup. Other wise I can have water free at home. I have 6 cats they do not bug me when I eat. When I ate this sub I was the most popular person on earth. It smelled good. It was good! Highly recommended!

Since ASC first opened I have always loved their sandwiches, from the choice of breads, meats and toppings it has always been top notch. As with my last visit I was disappointed that a change was made with the bread. I personally dont like when there is more bread than sandwich. The balance of the sandwich which was what I originally liked about ASC has now changed. My wife and son loved their sandwiches and they are bread lovers but now one of my favorites is no longer one of my favorites. Eventhough ASC still makes a great sandwich.

A lot of seating inside since theyve expanded. It is very open with a lot of space now. The staff is very friendly. The bread they use is a bit too thick for my liking. I wish they offered more than just one style of bread.

Today, however, I felt the desire to sample a burrito from their breakfast menu, I went online where the following words are proudly displayed on the top of their page Delivery now available at all locations. Select a location to begin. This was awesome, because I happened to be looking for delivery exclusively. The establishment may be within a modest walking distance, but its still pretty damn warm, it is Summer in the Valley after all. I called to place my order and the woman who received my call, in a very ambiguous manner, indicated that theyre not set up for delivery. I remarked that the company website specifically asserts that ALL locations are indeed set up for delivery, I was then asked if it was a company catering order which, of course, it wasnt. She then continued on to say that they couldnt deliver, but to call their other location. So today I guess I wont have their food because I was displeased with this encounter. The website says Delivery now available at all locations. Select a location to begin, I do exactly that and am told that delivery is not set up. Fair enough, I suppose, not all that glitters is gold, but then Im asked if its a company catering order which implies they are more than able to send food by vehicle to a certain location, but perhaps cannot justify the expense for an individual order even though Im less than 2 miles away. Whatever the reasoning for this unfortunate misleading episode, I have found myself inclined to write this review and consider alternative sandwich options in the area.Just read owners response, your reply is very much appreciated. I think that clarifying all aspects of delivery services offered with the staff is a great recourse that would go a long way in clearing up the confusion I had on the matter.
