Why is the store even open ? All the products are expired. Guys we all are literate when you see a custom sticky paper with printed used by date, you should know that something is fishy. We removed the sticky paper with the used by date June 2021 and under the sticky paper the factory printed used by date was Dec 2020. All the products which dont have a used by date or have a blank space where the date should be, if you look close enough you can actually see the used by date or the manufacturing date back in 2018. Cant believe no one is complaining or why no one is returning the products back to him.

I was looking for indigo and this place had it. I also purchase a jar of the mango chutney. It is filled with spices, very flavorful and delicious! The store is situated in the far corner of a shopping plaza. The store is small, but packed with a lot of items. I paid with a debit card. The cashier used an app on his phone to process the payment.Accessible entrance. Large parking area.

Conveniently located store with overpriced products with questionable quality. I bought Sona Masoori rice bag, later found it had bugs. Most of the products on the shelf dont have proper price listed. Their printer has been broken for a while now and they ask you to take picture of the bill from the computer screen if you want it. I still purchase from them for the lack of alternate option nearby, maybe they operate in this manner because of that. Pretty sure they dont meet lot of the hygiene & business standards to operate a store, I hope they improve.

Bharat Bazaar -- Indian store in Tempe. Near ASU locality. All Indian pickles, white basmati rice, sona masoori rice, maggi, LG Asofoetido, Aashirvad Aata and many Indian items are available. If you are buying biscuits or peanuts look out for expiry dates.I went there for sona masoori rice (20lbs) pack but it was not available at that time.

He is one of the rudest persons, I have met here. I bought 2 quantities of an item he wrongly billed it. When i went to confront he said he saw us purchase 4 quantities. I went a week later as i was tallying that late, he was cocky and blatantly lied saying he remembered us billing 4. He sells expired stuff and havent gone back as i considered it my bad luck, he sells unbranded stuff. Since there is only one Indian store available people still go there and he believes he can treat people anyway. Please check the bill twice as he cheats!!!

This place is good to buy Indian groceries, however prices are way too high as compared with other Indian stores. Also, most of the products are expired. Be sure to check the expiry of the products before buying them as the seller doesnt have a return policy. His only aim is to earn more and more profit. One good example of this is, he sells Amul Ghee for $16 whereas in other Indian stores you can buy it for $11. Avoid this place at any cost.

Convenient location for ASU students as it is located right off the Rural road station and Manzanita Hall. It is a very small store with a limited collection but you can still find almost whatever you need here. There are some BOGO offers too on products sometimes. A good place to visit if youre searching for generic Indian products.

The guy at the cash counter acts too smart, when looking for information like the nearest courier service when your letter has a PO Box, he replied saying dont you know that no courier service will accept PO Box address. It turns out this guy is fool and lack knowledge, there is an ASU UPS store across his store which accepts letters with PO Box. He is useless fellow and rude.

These guys are cheats. They sell long-expired products by pasting a self-made expiry date and price sticker onto the original one. Always be aware when you see a generic sticker for every product. I removed a sticker from a packet of rusk only to find out the expiry month dating back a year. They do this for all kinds of products. Be cautious of what you are consuming. These people do not throw away anything. They do not have a conscience.

Decent selection of Indian groceries, limited selection of produce. Can be a bit pricey when compared to other Indian stores in the valley. The main thing it has going for it is that its very close to ASU campus. However, its good enough to cover the basics - rice, lentils, spices and snacks.

If you have been in AZ for a while, you know that most Indian stores many a times carry stuff that are expired. And after talking to few owners, I realized the hardship they have to go through to get products as most take 4-5 months from packaged date just to come to the USA through custom regulations etc. So I usually accept the fact many Indian stores have old stuff and as long as they taste / smell good, I am good. In return I expect them to have decent return policy when the product looks smells awful. And so I have been going to this store for years maybe 5 or so, and the previous owner was always super graceful and would treat my request for bad product replacement instantly. Few months ago I got some Indian snacks and they smelled and tasted awful - and so I asked for a replacement. The cashier guy( I dont if it the new owner) treated me quite awful by asking another customer to smell the product and establish the fact that it is fine and good, which I felt was extremely unprofessional. I liked this store a lot cuz of its proximity to asu, but man he pissed me off so bad. They lost a loyal customer and he did not seem to care - ha haa pretty Indian there I would say. Business especially small ones like these have a lot to do with trust and honesty rather than brute force selling. So I decided I would rather drive 15 mins to lee Lee or some other place where your request as a customer is valued instead of being treated as insane. Thank you for years of your service - previous owner!!
