I really wanted to like this Guitars and Cars place but Will isnt an honest man. I bought a car from him after buying some music gear over a few months. The car is terrible. The rear bumper has so much body filler I still cant fathom it. About 1ft x 1ft area and its now falling apart, when I got it not very long ago you couldnt tell anything had been done. .. Both the cigarette lighter places went out the first week and a whole lot more eletrical problems. This guy operates on CHEAP FIX, FAST FLIP

Guys are very friendly. The not only sell musical instruments but they also sell cash cars on the other side definitely go check this place out

Will seems nice . Bought a bass for my son for Christmas and wasnt the style he was wanting . Son never even played . Had it less than 24 hours and wouldnt even do return on the bass or possible exchange. Guess what you get for trying to help small businesses

I wanted to like this place, but it just isnt for me. A limited selection that doesnt have a lot of basic stuff. Had a lot of used guitars & amps but no new ones. Also doesnt have metronomes & apparently new guitar stands. Been there 4 times & was disappointed every time. Wanted new guitar stands one visit & he sold me dusty, used ones @ new prices, another time tried to buy a metronome & the guy tried to sell me a tuner as if he did didnt know what a metronome was, and another time he tried to sell me some guitar strings @ a significant mark up. Also he only had one brand of guitar strings & the gauge selection was limited. Finally the guy gets really personal when he asks you questions that are a little too personal. Oh wait & he charges a fee for using a card...really? Who does that?

Great experience. I went in for some guitar picks and he helped me out with a lot of variety and he gave me a great deal on a fx sound player for my guitar and a chord. Great Christian values, great customer service experience.

Will is super helpful, especially since I didnt know anything about guitars. I came in looking for a gift for a guitar lover friend of mine. Great customer service. Small local store, but has everything at a reasonable price. If you are a guitar player, this is the place to go.

3 years ago I used to go to this store for all my guitar needs at the time, and at first I thought Will Smith, the owner, was a cool, down-to-earth guy. Unfortunately, that began to change as I started to talk with him more often whenever I went there. He eventually started to argue with me about my tastes in music and saying things like (the following are paraphrases): You shouldnt be listening to that! If its not played for the glory of God, its dead! Rock is for immature people! and Heavy Metal glorifies war and inspires senseless aggression and violence! Okay, what?I respect his right to have his own opinions, but I have a problem when he forces his opinions upon other people when he has no right to do so. He was ignorant, close-minded, and untactful when stating his opinions to me. His lack of knowledge, understanding, and tact made his arguments invalid and unreasonable, which puts him in the wrong for starting the arguments in the first place. It was my mistake for trying to be friends with him; a mistake I wont make again.Now Ive been giving my business to the Guitar Center in Waco, and Ive been happy with the great customer service Ive received and the well-spent purchases Ive made. Guitar Center has a great high-quality selection of guitars, amps, and other products for better prices. For example I bought a new $150 guitar at Guitar Center that looks and plays better than the used approx. $300 guitar I bought at Jam Station. I also couldve bought a better amp than the Line 6 amp I bought at Jam Station for around the same amount of money. Lastly the staff has been cool, helpful, and professional with me; none of them tried to argue with me over stupid things.I would give this review 1 star, but Will Smith was helpful to me at first. I was able to buy decent gear, he had a generous and flexible lay-a-way plan, and I liked the guitar teacher who used to work there.If you still want to go to Jam Station, I recommend that you dont try to get close to him, and that you use discretion when telling him about yourself. If he disagrees with your musical tastes, political views, religious beliefs, etc., he will criticize you. Also, if youre a Christian like him, hell use his Christianity as leverage to force his opinions upon you--regardless if hes right or wrong from a Biblical standpoint.I hope you have a nice day, and I hope you that you found this review helpful.

Bought a guitar yesterday. When u went to play last night I noticed that the body had a large crack I hadnt seen at the store. Jam Station replaced my new guitar without a bunch of attitude. So, I bought another guitar!! I received great customer service!! Thanks Jam Station!

Will is the owner of Jam Station and does a superb job instructing and he has everything youll need, my daughter had lessons with him and she enjoyed very much, I highly recommend this place.
