Very clean store with great customer service! There is a wide selection, and If you dont find what you need, they will get it. The prices are also reasonable and comparable to what you see at bigger, corporate-type stores.

Best keg prices we could find for the area. The only reason i docked a star is because the staff is incompetent. No one answers the phone, and if they do, i can’t get a straight answer from person to person. We went into the store finally & Lalo was working the front. He took our keg order, didn’t write anything down, didn’t take a deposit, nothing. Finally i forced him to take our deposit, write his name on the receipt, and to take our information. It felt sketchy. After we left, he called to tell me he gave me all the wrong prices for the kegs we wanted. Also seemed sketchy, like he wanted to charge more because he knew we needed the kegs that weekend. Luckily i had forced him to take my number down! But, either way, we got the kegs we needed & got our deposit back. If you’re willing to deal with someone who seems like they have no idea what they’re talking about, then it’s worth the price.

My son and I stopped by today as we saw the new store opened. We were really impressed with the selection and prices. I will definitely shop again as it’s clean, neat and friendly. It’s also right off the highway at exit 509 and on the way home from Dallas.

Ver very poor beer selection, Cashier using phone to video chat. Needs sweeping. So many broken and unbroken down down boxes in cooler I could not bring walk in.Shared my displeasure with cashier and he said on well I will never come back.The cashier is a joke.There is a better beer and liquor store just west on I 20. Deserves no stars.Look at the additional reviews ....NOT THE FIRST TIME CASHIERS HAVE BEEN RUDE!Mr customer NO-SERVICETRY COWBOYS LIQUOR INSTEAD!

Best prices and best selection in the area. Top shelf and bottom shelf. I used to only purchase liquor in Dallas, but no longer. The area finally has a store worth visiting.

I’ve never reviewed any place or item in my life but felt inclined after my experience at 509 Liquor.A while back, I stopped at this location and inquired about a bottle of Blantons Bourbon they had in the case. Unsurprisingly, it was price gouged at $130 (double the suggested retail price). I understand it is hard to find, but the distilleries very much discourage this. I asked about a few more items in their case which were also all grossly overpriced.I had been wanting to try Blantons for quite some time and negotiated with a very rude employee for a few minutes down to $115. Still way overpriced. This in itself was frustrating enough, but this employee literally ignored my couple of questions while he typed some stuff into the computer and came up with that price.I returned today to see if they had more Blantons available and they did. I kindly inquired to the employee behind the counter about the price - mentioning that I am a repeat customer and would continue buying from them if they did not totally rip me off each time. I was not unreasonable, but I was met with complete rudeness and told that if I didn’t want to pay the $120 price they now had on Blantons Bourbon that I can leave the store.I wish I had a better experience at this store, as I pass it frequently and they have a nice selection of all items, despite looking run down from the outside. But I have never been met with a salesperson that so clearly didn’t want or need my business and I will buy my $100+ bottles of whiskey elsewhere.
