Good selection of wines, but the staff is a little quirky. I go here fairly regularly and as I’m checking out today the cashier tells me he needs to see the ID of the man who came in with me. As I came in alone I asked who he’s referring to and he says the man has already left the store. I told the cashier I have no idea what the hell he’s talking about and the cashier says he won’t allow me to purchase any drinks until I track this guy down and prove he’s not a minor that I’m buying drinks for. Not a huge deal considering liquor stores are a dime a dozen out here, but just an unusual policy on their end.

The staff was very helpful to many people, just not me. I tried to get the workers attention a couple times for help finding a particular item, but they darted away after helping the customer they were with. I ran out of time and had to leave without the item I was looking for.

Good selection and average prices but so rude. I’ve been shopping at this store for many years but I’m not sure what happened recently. Might have to do with the new ownership and name change.

Not a handicap friendly store they have to borrow shopping carts from Market Basket because they don t own any and when you ask for one they just simply tell you that they dont have any and nobody volunteers to help. So much for custumer service they are behind the counter occupied with their cell phones. Shame on them.

Normally I wouldn’t go out of my way to even bother with this sort of thing, but the abhorrent treatment my mother received on Thursday June 28th in the early afternoon at this establishment has been eating away at me all weekend. In this day and age, the fact that an elderly woman was treated with such disrespect is inexcusable. As she was checking out, she apparently had a difficult time with her card, meanwhile the entire time the older blonde (Janet?) behind the counter did nothing but roll her eyes, scoff, and was quite belligerent to my mother who was simply confused as to how to use the credit card machine. Instead of acting with empathy or even pity, she merely scolded her, stated “that everyone else uses it just fine” and ripped the card from my mothers hands and acted like she was put out to be even helping her. When my mother left the store, she was nearly in tears at the way she was treated.Listen, I get it that customer service is NOT an easy profession. But if you cannot simply be kind, calm, courteous and professional to an elderly woman maybe you should be looking for employment where you do not have to see the general public.I myself have frequented his establishment and have always had a pleasant experience with the younger employees, but after hearing this I will no longer be returning to this establishment because of this miserable older employee. It’s quite sad because I was excited about the new ownership and the revitalization of the store in recent months.Myself and my mother will be driving across town, bringing our business to Oakdale Liquors, where we’ve never had an issue with polite treatment or discourteous employees.

If I could, I would leave zero stars. Lincoln Liquors has some of the rudest staff members. The first time I went here to recycle, my friend and I walked in with a shopping cart of recyclables and this old white women just kept shaking her head and rolling her eyes. When we went to the back to recycle, the same old white woman who was a manager insisted that my friend and I were not allowed to recycle more than 120 items total. We explained to her that we are recycling separately. We live in separate households. We had separate bags and just walked in together. She kept insisting that we came together and therefore we could only do 120 total. We had to tell her again that we are two separate people recycling two separate collections of recyclables. She scoffed and said FINE. Last night, we returned at 8:20. We literally walked in at 8:20. We were only greeted in the very back of the building next to the craft beers by a young dark haired guy. He asked if we needed any help. Once we said we were just here for the redemption center, he did a 180 and yelled without even looking at us and with his back turned to us that it closes at 8:15; and then he walked away. Again, it was 5 minutes after “closing”. They didn’t want to even make an exception or even look me and my friend in the eye while being so incredibly rude. We understand that they may close at a certain time, but that is no reason to not treat us like customers. It is clear they don’t want a redemption center. Mind you, we recycle and then spend money immediately after at this liquor store. When this place was Stadium Plaza Liquors, I never had an issue. But now, I’ve had two of the rudest interactions. If they don’t like their jobs, work elsewhere. If you hate your life, make changes. Don’t be rude to your customers. And please close your redemption center if you don’t want one. Ramos Liquors is a 10 minute drive and has equivalent selection and better customer service. Go to Tanner Street for your redemptions if you want to be treated like a human being.
