This place is amazing. You can find a lot of articles at a great discount. This is one of my favorite places to do shopping. Lot of things that you can pay double on other places. Never it is too crowded and very good people working here.

Its difficult to get in-store help when you need one. Kind of understaffed and most are not knowledgeable about the products on sale

Like that great hole-in-the-wall restaurant, Ocean State Job Lot has a great selection of a wide variety of discount products. We were pleasantly surprised with many of the upscale odds and ends at low prices!

This is a weird observation .... but for some reason the bathroom here smells amazing.

A walmart type store which sells an array of products for a discount. There is a wide selection of items of all kinds. The store is plain, but well organized. The store has sales weekly. You can get the sales by email. The major flaw is number of cashiers.I was there today. The place is essentially similar. I just added newer picture.I still recommend this store.

Great garden items. Soaps and skin care selection is remarkable. Lots of food choices. A huge selection of Bobs Red Mill products. I like discovering all the special sales each visit.

I bought an air conditioner, hose, and sprinkler. The pricing in that store is really good I will definitely go back

They never have anything in the store from the flyer, even if its the first day of the sale. No prices on anything. Clerks have no idea where things are, or when they will get any if they are out. Too much work shopping there. Disappointing.

Great place to get things you didnt think you needed. This place is also great to pick up house hold items at a very cheap reasonable price. The clothes here are worth every penny and are amazing. Overall a wonderful place to get whatever you need at a cheap price.

Your basic Ocean State Job Lot. This location is clean, spacious, and prices are reasonable. On-floor help is nonexistent if you need it.

This is such an inexpensive place to shop. On the day I visited the store was in disarray but it also was pretty close to Christmas. I ended up getting inexpensive wrapping paper, bows, boxes etc and found a few other great items. You never know what you will find here. The best item I have purchase from this store was a boot and glove dryer.

Ocean State is one of my favorite store. I do not normally frequent this location and after my trip I wont be going back soon. The shelves looked like locust had struck. They were literally empty. Not an experience i am used to having. Went to the Bedford location today and found what I needed. Good bye Tewksbury

I was pleasantly surprised at this place, it was an adventure, like finding something different in the place. From what I am told by the cashier they have new and different shipments of merchandise every week. My recommendation is to give it a try and you just might find what you were not expecting.

They seem to be back to their normal hours and the store is more tidy than in the past. Good deals all around. Minor shortages here and there.

Nicely organized and usually has lot of cool items in stock!!! I only gave 4 stars because years ago on Black Friday I was the first customer in line and wanted the “Anti Fatigue” mats at an excellent price but they had none in stock. They did give me a rain check and never got the Matt’s for over a year. By the time the Matt’s cane in I had tossed the paperwork for the rain check and they were 4x or more the price. Otherwise I do find random finds that I love from this store and the staff is usually pretty friendly.

Some good deals can be found. The biggest reason I shop here is that they are dog friendly. I can bring my dog in and shop around with no hassle. I love putting my buddy in the cart and wheeling him through the isles.

Went down there to get a vacuum I purchase one from their two years ago and I want to get the same thing. Ive gone down there twice. In the past few months and they havent had it. So when I left the store I looked it up online so it says they do carry it . They just dont have it in stock and they raise the price sadly.. the store didnt have a lot in it either usually its much more packed with stuff I wasnt impressed with it today at all..

EVERY TIME Ive been there, they charge me full price for items on sale that week. Once l came back the next day (the sale ended) and they actually said we dont know what the price was yesterday ! REALLY? You have no filters or book with sale price listings. The item was on sale again for $3 off instead of $4 off the day before, so I had to get that price. Last week 8 items rang up wrong. Then l had to wait in line for 20 minutes for it to be corrected. Im considering calling the attorney general and the Better business bureau. This isnt the only store that has shady practices. The one in Quincy, Ma. is worse. There, NONE of the sale items rang up the sale price 2 weeks in a row.They dont care and dont fix the problem. Many people are being ripped off. I ALWAYS check my receipt before leaving. I wont go back to Quincy or the Tewksbury locations. EVER.

It Job Lots. No frills. Great spice selection at cheap prices. Also fantastic selection of grains (oatmeal, GF stuff, Flours...ect) and baking needs. But the store is very basic, service is fair.

Was ok, but empty at the moment

Has a huge seasonal section close to entrance. Pet, garden, kitchen, toys, food, clothing, cosmetics/skincare. Im sure Im forgetting something items they carry. Prices are reasonable. Watching the flyer for deals is recommended. Also easy to impulse buy.

Had a few things I needed, but almost 💯 per cent out of Christmas items.

This place has a lot of good deals on practical necessary things like tools and hygiene, also has a cool variety of imported foods.. helpful staff, not too crowded

Lots of great items for sale and much better discounts that other stores. get an ocean state card so you dont have to cut coupons from their web site. clothing, hardware items always a great price. Ive been to one of their others stores in saugus and its and amazing place to pick up items you need.

This weeks sale was 20% off everything. I went there to get nuts, outdoor extension cords, and to check out the new items. This a very seasonal store so if you see something you like, buy it now, it might not be there next time. They have a large display of nuts and I was looking for pecan halves and unsalted roasted peanuts. I got the pecans, but they were out of the unsalted peanuts so got the lightly salted.I also bought two 50 foot outdoor extension cords. The fun part of shopping here is finding things you never knew existed like a USB powered bug light, and light bulbs with a motion detector in the bulb. I bought both on a previous visit and they worked out well.

No problem whatsoever, everything I went in for was in stock, the workers were very helpful when I needed help, the lines were moving, didnt spend more than 10 mins in line. I especially loved the crazy deals, will be back soon.

Its not the prettiest store. Its not the cleanest or the most cluttered. Its a discount retail store that flows with wandering connected aisles and displays. Great selection of specialty foods in the front right corner. Theres a ittle bit of this and allot of items to pick from in a relatively medium size store.

Always a fun trip through Ocean State Job Lot. Always something new. Purchased some great items at great prices. Check out was a breeze and cashier was efficient and friendly.

Great deals on some stuff you will not find for any price at the big box stores. It is a good place to shop if you like to treasure hunt. I always leave with something I am happy to find but probably dont really need.I do buy my Bobs Re Mill products there for a little less than most grocery stores. Also good deals on GF corn pasta. A lot of their inventory is not consistently stocked. It seems to be whatever they can get a deal on.

Lots of things to look at but it does seem like everything you need is an isle away and with prices so low its easy to be lost in this huge store for hours.
