I wear a size 7D and needed steel toe boots. There are never many in stock anywhere. I understand this. The salesperson told me it was illegal for youth boots to come in steel toe. Wow. Ok. I was literally wearing Justin safety toe boots in a 6.5 D in the store. I suppose those of us with small feet cant have safe feet? Or something? Bless her heart. I found what I needed at Atwoods.

Though the store itself has a good inventory of Western Wear and accessories everything from boots to belts to hats to clothes and other cow-persons merch hehe, but the overall style of the majority of the stock seems to cater a bit more to the razzle-dazzle honky tonk Texan audience than it does the more functional, built-to-last cowboy / ranch-hand styles found elsewhere. The stores considerable square footage seems to be wasted due to the way the visual merchandising has been done. The limited inventory is catagorized neatly around the perimeter of the store leaving the majority of the center area almost completely open leaving the available sales associates to look fairly bored and without tasks to keep them busy... I will say that the staff was very polite though and I did enjoy a peruse of some very fine boots and a couple decent hats that were quite unique in style. Definitely worth going to, but even in the Texarkana area I feel like this would be the 3rd or 4th stop if one was in the market for some new cowboy/girl gear! :-)

I had a pair of Twisted X Lopers that I bought at LEAST 6 months ago. However, I only wore the shoes twice. Yesterday was my 2nd time wearing them, and I looked down and noticed that my thread was coming undone on the shoe. There was a visible hole and I was so sad. I figured since I had them so long, I wouldn’t be able to return the shoes (I have worked retail so I understand it’s not always a easy thing to do returns after certain time periods). My Mawmaw called Boot Barn for me and they were so friendly. I took my shoes in last night and got to trade them in for the same pair, and I am so pleased with the customer service. Every thing western wear with the exception of baseball style hats and jackets. They have all kinds of clothing and boots.

Why is Boot Barn in Texarkana temporarily closed? When will it open back up?My rating right now is a 3 due to a lack of info on sudden closure and no one answering the phone for 2 days before the closure. Before the recent event, Boot Barn was definitely a 5! I know theyll get back to a 5, but lets get some info on the store opening. Ive got boots that were supposed to be delivered last week; I dont know if theyve arrived, and I need my boots.

Very nice store with great staff that do not make you feel pressured while browsing. They have a great selection of FR as well as everything western wear. The pricing is reasonable on everything except for the boots my friend paid full price for that had a very noticeable nick on the toe because they were the only pair they had of that style.

Will not order my size boot. They have a WHIP ( we have it promise) but dont have my size and was told they wasnt able to order. I went and bought my size somewhere else.

When I was checking out . A lady that worked there she was an older woman. She grabbed the purse I bout and said you have to cheeck and make sure shes not stilling any thing. That didnt make me feel good at all.

Great boots. Great prices. Didnt have a huge selection of boots in my size. Bummed. Went into boot barn to purchase my very first pair of cowboy boots. I was super excited to make my first purchase and man were people rude. They were rude to my kids and to meand my husband. I know I was wishy washy with my purchase. Trying to decide on a pair, then when I did - figuring out how a boot should feel and fit is a whole other issue. Firm like a hand shake not too tight with a little room in the back. Yup, I felt that way in the boot but it was a little snug. They said the boots would stretch and conform to your foot. While I was trying to decide, they yelled at my kids. Said they were going to call a store to see if they had my size then helped another customer. Truly an unpleasant experience. I know I kept switching my mind but we dont have boot barns around the corner from our house and Im not driving to Gurnee for a return. Love my boots. Hope they stretch just a wee bit more which Im sure they will.
