Only shop there when I absolutely need something. Used to be Lowes Foods. I miss it! Wish they would put another grocery store in this location. I dont see how they stay in business.

They need to shut that store down. Milk and bread went bad in 4 days. The shelves and freezers are empty. Everything is double what you pay at other supermarkets. It was empty when I was there 3 months ago. I seen a sign that said sorry for the inconvenience stock is arriving late. 3 months later no stock. Shut that place down. And to be honest, I didnt even want to give a star as a 1.

Great! I have one item that 2 Food lions cant seem to ever have on their shelves. But this IGA always does. Thank you IGA!

This store seriously just needs to close. I dislike how this is the closest store to my house. Their stock is low, prices are crazy, and quality of food is... questionable. I wish this could be a walmart grocery or food lion.

Not really sure why this store isnt constantly booming....great deals and amazing service every time I visit. Love to get hamburger especially...best ever. Steaks are really good too. Usually try to go at least once a week.

Sad excuse for a grocery store. Shelves are frequently out of stock. Bread section is woefully bare, and selections on key items are minimal. For instance, if you want hot dog buns, you have 1-2 choices in brands. These guys look like they are on their way out. Cant believe they hung on this long. Service is usually quick simply because they are no other customers to serve. 3rd failed grocery in this location. Sad.

When I walked in the first thing give noticed was an odor like something was spoiled. It was only on the right side of the store but anyway, the prices were accurate on name brand items but brands that was lower quality was a little expensive. Its an ok store. Definitely not like their sister store at Myrtle Beach.

I like this market it has so much potential. Its never crowded has a cute little deli that sells hot food plates for 5.00 which comes with a meat and two vegetables. They sell mostly their brand name but that makes sense. The only issues I have is the frozen section as its almost non-existent.

I shop here out of convenience from time to time. Store is clean and well kept. Employees are friendly enough. The meats are well priced and not bad cuts just not much selection or on sale. The same goes for produce, deli, and bakery with limited selections and just okay pricing. The general store dairy, frozen foods, and grocery are out of stock on many items not a few but hundreds of items. The prices are just okay not good and not bad, they are not the cheapest place to shop in town.

I love this store. They have occasional good prices, but most everything is jacked way up which is why I deducted a star. The aisles are very big and spacious, and the store is incredibly neat. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It is usually empty when I go in, which makes for a pleasant shopping experience.

IGA Hometown Market is a very clean store with friendly staff. The prices are somewhat high on some of their products but they have reasonable prices on other things. Its a similar thing with their shelves-some of the shelves are pretty well stocked while other shelves are empty. My husband and I would love to be able to shop at IGA more often if prices were lowered and all shelves were kept well stocked.

Limited selection. Very expensive. There is never anyone there so never busy .

I enjoy this store. I have been told it is a chain of the piggly wiggly stores. They offer all brands as your typical grocery store as well as there own brand. There prices are competitive to that of most grocery stores. I would say they are still getting established and their name out there so I would definitely check freshness dates on meats and dairy.

Smells really bad, even with a mask on. Half the freezers are empty. Way overpriced. This is the definition of why the big box stores are putting the small guys outta business. Sad, but true...read other reviews..

Went in to buy powdered milk today and got charged 3x the labeled price. Guess I know why this grocery store is struggleing. Also alot of out of date food left on the shelfs.

Friendly staff and good food and good prices. But the real gen of the store is the deli in the back that has a lunch special. Great deal

The prices here border on insane . The employees are super friendly and go out of their way to help you . Watch the produce it can be borderline sometimes.

The staff is always extremely friendly but this building has a weird smell. Its not specifically IGA themselves. Every grocery store that sets up shop here has this issue. Its literaly something wrong with the building.

Store was ridiculously over priced. One register running very slowly, a manager and 3 other employees leaned on a register talking while a line was forming in the ONLY register line . Poor customer service, bad representation of this company. I hope corporate addresses these issues. Its amazing this location has stayed open this long in Thomasville if this is the standard. Sad, wont be back

Not a big selection. Most of the peppers were wilted looking. They didnt have ginger root which I was needing. Dont usually stop there but was on my way home and I didnt want to have to go oit of the way to another store. Wont make that mistake again.

I go there sometimes to look at the meet department because they have different quantities than other local stores. Other than that, there is no selection and the prices are quite high.

Is extremely over priced. Its right up the road but we would rather go the extra 15 minutes to walmart even for a few items, thats how over priced it is.
