Quality ingredients in great flavor at Flatiron Bagel Co. The staff is friendly and flexible with toppings and options. The menu is diverse enough to handle vegan vegetarians and omnivores alike. My wife ordered the #19, which included a toasted garlic bagel with avocado sriracha cream cheese cheddar cheese egg and we withheld the bacon. The flavor was really good but the garlic crumbles on top of the bagel or burnt.I ordered the chorizo and egg bagel sandwich which came on a toasted sesame bagel topped with chorizo, egg avocado, and Monterey Jack cheese. I withheld the chorizo from my sandwich. The flavor was delicious, and the sandwich was warm, rich and moist.They sell bagels by the bakers dozen along with Peetes coffees (hot and cold). I highly recommend you give Flatiron iron Bagel Co. a try.

Thank gawd for this place - they bring a little taste of NY to the suburbs! Their bagels are the PERFECT blend of crunchy-on-the-outside-but-soft-in-the-middle that youll never get from a lowbrow bagel.

Fresh bagels and tons of options for vegetarians too. Hopped in early Saturday for bagels on the way to the beach. They are super careful and practicing proper COVID protocol. The jalapeño bagel w sriracha cream cheese is perfect for the spice connoisseurs. Highly recommended.

Although they are all delicious, my favorite is the jalapeno. I dont remember the guys name who has served me many times, but he is so nice, and funny too. Im just disappointed that they are on a temporary schedule and dont open until 8:00. I cant make it there before work, and by the time I take lunch, theyre closed. But thats ok, when they do go back to full time, the bagels will taste that much better! I recommend them!

Honestly the best bagels in town!Lox bagel with honey-mustard cream cheese and avocado is just perfect.They also have gluten free and vegan options which is great for people like my wife who can’t have any dairy or gluten.If I had an option I’d give 10 stars!

There was a LIVE bug in the cream cheese of my bagel. Not a small one either. If they are serving up live bugs, god only knows how clean they keep the rest of the store. Will not be coming back here and will tell others to stay away too.

Bagels are very good and they put a decent amount of cream cheese on them, unlike other places that spread it super thin. I guess that is a west coast thing. The coffee always seems very weak and stopped getting it there. As far as bagels go, very good.

This area has desperately needed a bagel shop that isnt a big chain and has the fresh, chewy bagels that I cant seem to find anywhere anymore. Noahs texture is kind of airy and disappointing, and grocery store bagels are a sad imitation of what a bagel could be.Flatiron checked all the boxes:-Clean, cute shop-Easy parking, quick in and out-Really nice employee working-Toast level and cream cheese to bagel ratio was perfect-Awesome options (Vegan jalapeno cream cheese!?! Am I dreaming?!)-Baked fresh daily with leftovers donated-Onions that actually stuck to the bagel after toasting (rejoice)-Totally reasonable price-THE BAGELS ARE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUSIts a good thing I dont live closer, because Id probably stop in everyday. Take a day off keto, I promise you, its worth it.

The service is great and very welcoming. The bagels are delicious and fresh. My favorite is the garlic bagel. They also make their own bagels -none of this frozen business. They also serve Peet’s coffee, one of my favorites. Love it here!

Meh. Bagels tasted okay, but not the best. Tasted like toaster had a fire in it at one point, both of our bagels had that burnt taste even though neither were actually burnt. Cute hipster atmosphere if thats something you like. Coffee was also meh...weird since I normally love Petes Coffee. Probably wouldnt go back.

Had their #19 breakfast sandwich. Very pleasantly surprised on the multi levels taste and filling of the sandwich. They make their bagels on site. The sandwich came on garlic bagel, it had rich roasted garlic flavor unlike some places have vaguely garlic.They have breakfast and lunch sandwich menu.They have a fridge case for cold brew coffee. They have hot coffee as well but the time of visit, they were out of coffee beans.They sell their bagels in dozens and single price, which is very affordable. Also have different spreads.I hope their operating hours increase

Great service and bagels! I asked about a gluten free toaster option for my wife as she can’t have any cross-contamination... and they went ahead and bought one. Pretty solid service if you ask me.

The quality exceeded my expectations. They serve a nice variety of bagels and specialty items. The Vermont and Green Eggs & Ham were delicious!

Eggs were not cooked fresh and bacon was microwaved...With how fresh the bagels looked I at least expected fresh ingredients to be cooked then and there. The #19 had an enourmous, porous chunk of egg with avocado chunks mixed in it. The egg looked heated up as well instead of made fresh. Gave me a lot of indigestion. Couldnt even take a bite without it falling apart because of how much egg was in it and how tough the bacon felt. Kind of disappointed in the quality, but friendly service.

Four stars on first visit; will return and revise based on other experiences. As a recent NYC transplant to SoCal, I approve of Flatiron’s bagel based on this one experience. Not the same as NYC bagels, mind you, but they are good and, IMO, close enough. 🙂 Service was very FRIENDLY. The small shop is very CLEAN. They serve Peet’s Coffee; I had the bold and it was good. I recommend and will return.

Bagels are fresh and delicious. Service is friendly. There is no seating here, but you can sit on the patio for the pizza place a couple doors down.

I happened to discover this place on my drive down thousand oaks blvd and hungry! Lol The perfect combo for me of a toasted bagel sandwhich. Had the turkey avocado. The ratio of turkey avocado and hint of aioli...just yummy!
