I just moved to the area and brought my bike in for a tune-up based on a google search and good reviews. The tune-up was poorly done. With the issues I mentioned going in to it not addressed (brake pads rubbing on wheels). I then brought it back a few days later as a part had to be ordered. Only to find out the wrong size part was ordered & it would be another week. And that I would have to leave my bike there until then as they had already started taking it apart. A bit frustrating as I commute for work and would have to preferred to have my bike. A very frustrating part is one of my special puncture resistant tires was replaced with some other basic tire that is completely different without confirming that was the kind of tire I wanted or asking what kind of tire I even wanted or giving me options. And day 2 of commuting I got a flat and had to walk home from work. Will be purchasing a new tire and calling to ask for a refund on the tire they chose to give me. Have had better service for lesser prices and more professionalism at my old local shop. Was hoping for better:(
I had my second tire sidewall blowout of the day halfway through a century ride. I was all out of spares and stranded two miles from the shop. Vince the owner came and picked me up in his truck, my tire was replaced swiftly and after a delicious espresso and coffee cake I was back on the road, good as new.Vince even shared some local road expertise for getting back onto my planned route. Thanks for saving my butt and for the all around great shops experience!!!
The real deal LBS. This place is all about the love of cycling. Vince spent time with me answering my novice questions and provided some great personalized cycling advice. This is crazy, but I am a better rider after applying some of the things he recommended.
I stopped by JRA bikes and Brew since I noticed a loose bottom bracket. Not only did Bryan replace my bottom bracket… He went through the entire bike replaced the rear derailer, cassette, chain, serviced the dropper post and did a full fork service all while I waited! When I went out side for a few minutes apparently he even checked for sealant and topped off the Stans in both tires… Even trued the wheels. I’m not sure my bike has ever had this much love. These guys are absolutely amazing…from the owner to the rest of the crew all are first class. Huge thanks to them for getting me back on the trail.
Hopefully their coffee is better than their customer service. When I arrived I was the only customer in the shop ( no surprise there .....), and nobody wanted to help me. Finally the owner asked a female to help me and visibly annoyed at having to tear herself away from the guy she was conversing with.... she forced herself to barely answer a few questions but refused to really focus on my bike, since her mind was obviously somewhere else. Unfortunately, their coffee isnt much better, from the other reviews.
Vince the owner and all the staff here are great. I talked with Vince for an hour about what kind of riding I do, and he really cared and listened. He helped me decide on the bike to purchase, and made recommendations I really appreciated. I have also brought in other bikes for service, and they returned it extremely quickly with everything sorted. They are really a top notch shop for any new or experienced riders.
I stopped by for the first time to this bike shop Vince the owner took the time to address the issues I was having with my mountain bike and he resolved the problem great customer service I will be back
Rude on the phone for a quick question. 👎
Cant say enough amazing things. From the staff to the owner, they all really take their time and make you feel very comfortable. All business big and small can learn some key attributes from the team at JRA Bikes & Brew.
Everyone is friendly and helpful! Vince is a master. I was fitted by Vince when two others failed. Vince was spot on with my back issues.Extraordinary service and amazing technicians. Vince makes the wheel go round.A cyclists bike. Special orders dont upset them. They love the challenge.
I brought my mountain bike to JRA and had a professional fitting done by Vince, the owner. He did a fantastic job, asking tons of questions about my fitness, personal riding style, and goals. When we were done, Vince directed me to trails right by his shop. Just a superb store with no attitude.
Vince is the best! I completely trust him. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable, affable and always willing to go the extra 3 miles. Customer satisfaction is his goal His joy comes from a customer leaving with a smile 😃 on his or her face.
These guys are great! They go above and beyond, not only did they fix my bike, they also gave me great tips to better take care of my bike.
Very nice people at this store
Awesome small business, the guys are super knowledgeable and friendly. I personally recommend Mike or Vince (hes the owner as well) A+++
I love this place. Ill often stop by just to say hi to Vince and Tamera and hang out for a while, and also look at the latest bikes and products. This is a really friendly bike shop, and the coffee/espresso/snack counter run by Tamera is great, too. Her lattes are excellent. I especially like the way Vince will let people take a really good sample bike out for test ride. One day, I went there and Vince actually joined me for a test ride so I could try out two different Turner full-suspension bikes on the ride, with us trading bikes half way through the ride, so I could see which one I liked better. They were great bikes, too! Jimmy Mac (the long-time editor) at Mountain Bike Action Magazine had told me once privately that the first time he rode the 27.5-inch-wheeled Turner Burner that it was the best bike he had ever ridden, so I wanted to try it too. It really was an incredibly good bike, but so was the even newer 27.5-inch Turner Flux, and I cant remember now which one I thought was better. They were both incredibly good. This is a great shop with a great staff. Coming here feels more like meeting up with a bunch of very good friends than it feels like going to a place of business. I recommend it most highly. -- John Ker/ Mountain Bike Action Magazine.
These guys are the best.
Requested a suspension lockout repair. they offered to rebuild the mid-shock and the front shock instead and I said as long as the suspension lockout is fixed thats all I care about. fast forward 2 weeks they bring it out telling me that they were sure to check and make sure the suspension lockout was repaired so I paid $180. I then tested the suspension lockout and showed it was not repaired. they then offered to charge me $180 to repair it.Update: Per your mention, Topanga bikes swapped the screw and the lockout hadnt worked since which is the problem I came to you and paid $180 to solve. Perhaps its just my mistake for not going back to Topanga bikes and asking him to dig around in the dirt to find the screw that he lost. With the lockout not working my ability to climb is complicated in certain situations., shocks not serviced in 4 years never has had a negative impact on my abilities to ride the bike. I have recently purchased newer tire performance bikes than the niner rip nine you sold me five years ago and these bikes have had me rather spoiled.I will upgrade this to a three-star rating because the truth of the matter is your team only bills for things that they can charge. Helping me find a missing screw will not keep your bike shop going Thats for sure..
This place is awesome! I am an avid cyclist and the vibe in here is great. Its a great place to hang out with the nice seating and outdoor tables. Vince and Tamera-the owners, are both very helpful. Vince, knows more about bikes than anyone I have ever met. The rest of the crew is very helpful and knowledgeable as well. They have a large selection of bikes and accessories from really cool brands like Niner, Ibis etc. Their huge demo fleet is unsurpassed. My wife is not a cyclist, but she is an avid coffee drinker and she loves the coffee. She has a couple of their custom mugs at home. I highly recommend stopping by, you wont be disappointed!
Stopped by this place today. Great, friendly service. I had an iced coffee and it was tasty. It was cool to be able to sip on your coffee and cruise around the shop looking at bikes. It has a real boutique feel that I have not found at any other bike store in the Conejo Valley. They have some seating outside and chairs inside too. It is super low key and there was never any pressure to buy anything, just a real nice vibe.
JRA is a small business that cares. The team is very kind, knowledgeable, and provides amazing service. Above and beyond being a great bike shop, this is a great example of how all businesses should be run.I recommend them if you need to buy a bike, service your bike, if you need to learn about the local trails, or if you just want a great cup of coffee.
Best bike shop you can find
This place is amazing and the people are honest and truly treat you very well.
That was an amazing moment. This place is awesome, great coffee and good service.
This place has it all, incredible bike shop, fantastic & friendly staff that are very knowledgable about their products and a great hangout location to get a coffee as well. Vince and his crew there are some of the most patient and helpful people I have met. I am very happy to have such a great Bike shop close by. Anytime I needed any service done to my bike, it was completed correctly the first time.
This is not your run-of-the-mill bike shop. Im not just saying that because they integrated a coffee shop which is more affordable than Starbucks. The staff goes above and beyond to make the customers happy, and the product selection is great. Oh and if they dont have a part or something they will order it for you no problem. A+++++
First time I went to the bike shop. I had a brake that stuck and my wheel was beyond out of tune(touching frame) on my mountain bike. Xavier went out of his way and fixed my bike up while I waited, so I could go on a ride. I know they were busy with work but you just rarely ever find this type of service. They also have great bikes. Next time I will stop by for coffee.
Good coffee, decent selection. *Not* geared toward the new rider unfortunately... disconnected from the non-rider experience.
Best bike shop in town!!!
Always a pleasure going in to see Mike and Vince. Always friendly and knowledgeable. Good vibe, and good work.
I love this place for its amazing positive vibe in a playful bicycle atmosphere.Outstanding coffee and outstandfing staff are here to help you with coffee or your sweet existing or new ride. Bicycle repairs while enjoying a cup of c coffee makes for a rare and wonderful atmosphere.
Everyone here is really nice. i came quite a few times to try a bike out for my son and they were all very patient. I finally ended up buying a bike and my son loves it. They really are no pressure and friendly environment. A bit pricey over all not your average joe kinda shop but the service and overall vibe of the place is great.
Vince was very generous to donate a bike fit as a certificate for the Arthritis foundation fundraiser, and the CA Coast Classic ride. We love the coffee here imported from Kalamazoo Michigan. Very nice shop, great place to refuel on your ride.
Great coffee, impressive bike selection. I didn’t expect to find any good coffee in the area, so it was quite a surprise.
They have worked on both of my bikes. I.was very.happy with them!! Awesome.customer service! Thanks JRA..JWM(James W. Malmo)
Great customer service, easy and more strenuous no - drop shop rides and quality, sought - after gear. Its, however, a little pricey. Its well worth a visit.
Mike was very helpful and welcoming. Helped to fix gear shifting and kindly explained how to properly do maintenance. Great store and great people.
Best people working there. Great coffee and excellent simple selection of bikes you can demo next to some amazing trails. Highly recommended.
Great shop. Great bike mechanics. Nice selection of products and bikes. Nice spot to grab some coffee after a ride at chesebro.
Came in to pay to have my pedals switched out. Vince sold me a wrench in taught me how to do it! Love this place love these people.
Thank you JRA for carrying a wide range of top quality demo bikes in all sizes from which to choose and providing fantastic customer service.
Well, Im cheating... I am an employee of JRA B&B. But I will share that the people whom I encounter both clients and peers, love the environment and contribute masses of positive energy that create this amazing place. Truly special...
This is the nirvana for bike riders. Great coffee and bikes and service. The complete package. And the employees? Very helpful and friendly. Everyones smiling! Whats with that?
I like this place. A full service bike shop and coffee shop. The parking is big too. One of the few places left where you can get your coffee in a mug not a paper cup. I will be back.
Great croissants and coffee. A bike shop and coffee house in one. Nice atmosphere.
The coffee isnt the best, but the people are nice and the bike repairs/supplies are great for the price.
Super friendly. Stop in for a delicious espresso and a pastrie while having your bike tuned up or repaired. We had a latte, best in the area, a chocolate croissant, and a chocolate donut. All fresh and tasty.
Great shop all the way around. Good coffee, great bike services and solid dudes
Great service, awesome kids size real mountain bike for my daughter.
Great family atmosphere that you can maintain your bike and have a cup of coffee.
Really cool shop! Decent selection of parts and bikes, and very helpful and friendly. Also, great coffee and snacks, and a great place to hangout after a ride.
Quality shop w laid back nice and knowledgeable people. Great for repairs of any type of bike and they really know their stuff when it comes to quality mtn bikes.
Excellent service
Very helpful. I like the coffee addition. I wish they had a little better selection.
They just moved from their Agoura Hills location to this much larger and nicer location. Same great coffee and bike service.
A great experience. Bought a bike for our grandson, JRA was very helpful and professional. Thank you!
Soon as I came in I got help bike was put on rack for inspection of any problems it was great help has that family welcoming feel to it and what makes this place extra special is the cafe within the store I find that to be very amazing.
I had a great experience at JRA. The staff is devoted to providing high quality customer service and high quality coffee while sharing their passion and extensive knowledge of mountain biking. I’ll be back!
Friend guys, the coffee was good, and cool mix of biking stuff and coffees. It has some comfortable leather chairs to chill in too.
BEST BIKE SHOP AROUND!! Mechanics are fantastic, atmosphere like the old days at bike shops, and the coffee - simply delicious. Highly recommend.
Stopped in for a quick tea. The chai latte is made with fresh chai (not powdered!) and the right amount of milk.Server was friendly and the patio area is nice to sit on.
Very nice new location and knowledgeable staff will help you find the right bike for you.

Ive adopted JRA as my local bike shop even though I live 30 miles away. Great service and attention to detail.
Not only do they have knowledgable, friendly, and quick service when I stop in with my bike, but they make THE BEST almond milk cappuccino I have ever had!!
The people are friendly. The food is good. Unfortunately, its shutting down, permanently, on Sunday, March 25, 2018.
Mike helped me pick out a helmet. Super service, great guy!
Wonderful staff and service. Extremely helpful.
Fantastic and incredibly helpful little shop right off of the 101.
