From beginning to end I had a great experience with Henderson Auto. Clear communication throughout the whole process and had the car back to me faster than I anticipated. My car feels new again and will definitely be back.

I don’t write reviews, but if I could give a million stars to Henderson Auto, I would. My daughter, who lives in Portland, has been so happy with the service she has received there that we drove from California to have my son’s Subaru engine repaired there. It was a tough situation. He bought the car, and a week later, found out the engine had issues. Turns out, it had huge, expensive issues. The whole engine needed to be rebuilt. Bryan was so patient with us as we had him take the car apart and diagnose all the issues and then put it back together so we could get an trade-in appraisal. Then, we brought it back to him and then changed our minds again and decided to get rid of it. Henderson Auto did a great job diagnosing all the problems it had. Bryan spent a great deal of time on the phone with me. He gave me very good advice. He is HONEST and FAIR and definitely goes the extra mile. An amazing auto shop. What a great experience! Thought I needed an oil gauge sensor...turns out, My poor car actually had a ginormous oil leak. Brian was super helpful, explained things clearly, and didnt try to sell me on unnecessary work. I will return for future upkeep for sure. Absolutely recommend this spot for all your car needs!

I have taken two cars here over the years and have always found them to be honest, hard-working people. My most recent experience was for a check engine light and they were able to fit me in very quickly. Whereas many shops try to squeeze as much $$ out of customers as they can, Henderson is different. They diagnose the issue and suggested that I reach out to the dealership since the repair can potentially be covered under warranty, saving me over $1K. Although this loses business for Henderson, he was open and honest about the situation. He also provided a bit of guidance on the issue and how to approach it. The topper was the request that I circle back to let them know the outcome because they want to be able to confidently advise other customers that have the same issue, in regards to warranty coverage and saving them money. Top notch service and customer care. I highly recommend.

This could have been a 5 star review, but a few things were so off-putting and unprofessional that I have to share my experience. If it isn’t an emergency repair, I recommend going elsewhere.My car broke down and needed immediate service. The front desk woman was very kind and understanding with scheduling me quickly. I brought it in the following morning and it was finished by the end of the day.However, the quick turnaround was basically the only good thing about this place. I was given a $500 bill for an alternator and a serpentine belt.Both Brian and Bob were rude to me when I asked for a breakdown of cost with parts and labor. When I asked the model number and brand of the alternator being put in my car, I was only given the model number. This was followed by an accusation that I was looking to purchase the part elsewhere, and a threat that I could pick up my broken down car and take it elsewhere if I don’t like what they’re using. Bob told me there are no cheaper options he would put in my car and that this $300 part was it.I understand wanting to provide quality service. But I felt bullied into making a huge purchase, was given no alternatives besides figuring it out elsewhere.

Unfortunately my experience did not have a happy ending. But Brian explained everything to me while explaining that it would be so expensive that I should just get a new car. Brian only charged me $50 or $60 bucks to look at it. Brian also allowed me to leave the car while I arranged to have it salvaged. Brian no more old cars and will be bringing in my 2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport for maintenance.Thanks Henderson AutoDeeAnn

A previous repair job went south and Bob did an amazing job fixing it! Everyone I spoke to was amazingly friendly, reassuring and accomodating. After moving I was homesick for a garage that knew what they were doing and I wont be taking my car anywhere else after what a great experience this was. Bonus points for an adorable dog that let me love on them while I waited!

First time customer and it went perfect. Had a belt replaced and an oil change. Will make my regular auto place.

Friendly shop I took my car in for an alignment. When I asked them about the condition of my front end they were more than willing to explain any mechanics comments. It was my first time at their shop so only 4 stars but I have recommended them to friends and I will return when needed

Best Auto Shop I have been to and for good reason. The people at Henderson have the best integrity I have seen in a business. There was a small mistake that was made a while back and they told me that everything would be taken care of on them. Im not mechanically inclined so it is hard for me to accurately reiterate the situation. However, the bottom line is that I have seen a lot of shady business practices as a prior insurance broker and this Auto shop has shown me that there are still true professionals out there in every line of work. Brian and his crew are amazing. I brought my car in, for a leak repair that the dealer said was needed. Not only was it going to be $600 less here, Brian said the leak was so minor that he would feel bad taking my money to fix it at this point. He also told me that my brakes were at only 15% in the front ... the dealer didnt even mention that they needed to be replaced.I will now be bringing both of my cars to Brian for all of the service they need. Im glad there are still honest people out there, not just looking to take your money.

Great experience with a bad car. I bought a car and they checked it for me when it had bad engine codes. Turned out I wasted my money. They were very professional and told me it was more than the car was worth to get the repairs made.

Nobody loves getting work done on their cars. Henderson isnt the cheapest, but they are honest and will give your moneys worth by only using top quality parts.

Top notch service, quick repairs, honest service, and modestly priced. I had to have my car towed in here in November due to my exhaust system collapsing from driving on salted roads in the Midwest for most of its life. They called me the next day, outlined the repairs needed and my options, and had it completed 2 days later. Ive had 0 issues with the repairwork done in the last 5 months.I recently had Jiffy Lube tell me my coolant tank was empty and I had a leak/needed repairs. Since Henderson replaced the radiator for me a few months prior, I took it back to them to check. They ran a full flush for 45 minutes and discovered 0 leaks (Jiffy lube lied) and they didnt charge me for the service.Ill be bringing all of my cars to Henderson from here out. Thank you for being such an oustanding business.

BRIAN IS A LIAR AND UNPROFESSIONAL! WILL RIP YOU OFF First BRIAN told me my engine was FRIED because it was making a loud noise WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT IT. How unprofessional! When i started crying on the phone, he said he would personally look at it, and he found out it was just as I told the receptionist...the tension pulley. Then I received the estimate to get my truck safe to be on the road. BRIAN again told me that my truck WAS NOT safe to drive and the front brakes were worn and the calipers were dragging $700.00 He also said the 2 radiator hoses were soft and needed replaced for $250.00 He said my transmission was shifting bad too. Well, of course I took it to another auto shop to see if I could get the work done cheaper. NOTHING WRONG WITH MY BRAKES OR RADIATOR HOSES OR TRANSMISSION!!! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF HENDERSON AUTO AND BRIAN ESPECIALLY. I called him and he said well, when we looked at your truck, those things were not working He is a LIAR and will not except responsibility for trying to rip me off. Just another man trying to get over on a single female

Love Brian and his crew. From the moment I called to the finished repairs I was treated as if my vehicle was the most important thing on their schedule. They worked with me on my payments and treated me with respect. Today is my second visit to finish up repairs. Brian was referred by other mechanics and folks in the auto trade which says something about the integrity and quality of work they provide. Super friendly. Was looking for an ACE Delco battery and got their name from the AC Delco website. Very friendly on the phone, got the battery I wanted ordered in and delivered within 2 hrs.The guy on the phone had told me there was a core fee for the battery but when I showed up he told me he wasnt going to charge me for it and just asked that I return the old battery after I swapped them out.Very friendly and great customer service will bring me back again soon
