Very helpful and friendly staff but I am not very happy with the options for glasses they don’t have very many known or good brands.

Lily is amazing! Buying glasses is always so stressful because I am on such a tight budget these days. She understood and explained to me all she could offer very clearly and then picked out so many cute frames! I hope she is there the next time I need frames:)

Extremely irritated. I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks out. Provided my insurance information and filled out all intake forms. I received a call the day before asking for additional information to pull up my insurance. I received a call day of 20 minutes before my appointment saying that I aged out of my insurance. The insurance that they somehow pulled up was my old policy under my dad. So yes I aged out of that plan. The information I provided to them was my own insurance plan that was purchased last month. When I tried to calm back, I sat on hold for 20 minutes, missing my appointment. As I was on hold I found my own vision benefits page. Printed it out and scheduled somewhere else. I have worked at numerous eye doctors offices, the smart ones verify insurances the week before and not leave it till last minute. Very disappointed, Ive been waiting to get new glasses for over a year. And now that I have the insurance that will cover them and money, the first place I try let me down.

My husband tried progressive lenses from Costco and one other place, trying to save money, but they just didnt work for him and ended up returning them. His Visionworks lenses are far superior and its the only place hell go for his lenses now. The manager and all the staff are knowledgable, kind, and patient. When it was time for me to take the leap to progressives, I came here and Kerragan helped me and was wonderful to work with! Great service, great glasses!!

Very positive experience. The two individuals working in the eye exam area were friendly and very entertaining. It was a busy Saturday, so appreciated the banter while waiting. Jacob was very professional, helpful, and gave great advice in the fit of the different frames we were considering. He also pulled many demo frames in an effort to best match my old pair. He was a great help and very honest in pricing and advised on the best options for us.

The staff at this Visionworks is amazing. The receptionist, Priscilla, was incredibly friendly and adaptable. Dr. Morris is probably my favorite eye doctor so far and I have had glasses for 32 years. GREAT service and great staff!! The store was busy on Saturday but they managed to help us very quickly. We explained to Ellie that my daughter lost her glasses and Ellie went above and beyond and got our glasses done same day! We appreciated the wonderful service. Tons of glasses selection and they helped us find a pair that looked great.

Created an appointment online with no issue. Was called by them to reschedule because the system booked me when no doctor was available. Rescheduled successfully. Show up to my new time and was turned away. They said that the doc wasnt qualified to use my insurance. I was told my appointment was cancelled and someone else has my time slot. I was told they attempted to call me. I have no record of any phone calls from the clinic about my rescheduled appointment. Over the phone when they did contact me the first time about the first appointment, they requested the insurance information which I provided two weeks before the rescheduled appointment. Why wasnt this issue identified prior to me showing up to the clinic? I received the multiple automated texts telling me my appointment was confirmed with no indication of issues. Tone of the front desk was accusatory and aggressive. I have been serviced by you guys in the past with no issue. This interaction was awful and I will not return.

Disappointing and unprofessional! I had given my insurance information to the office in advance. I was told that my insurance will cover for my eye exam. However, when i showed up for my appointment, no pre authorization was done. I was taken in for the exam right away while the front desk was on phone trying to figure out my insurance. At check out, i was informed that they are out of network and charged me $89 instead of $25. They should have informed me about this prior to taking me in for the exam so that i could have made the decision if i want to proceed with exam today or not. If they had informed me, i would have had the option to find an in network optometrist. Front desk stated that she was new and did not seem well trained with insurances. Company should hire someone trained or at-least give them proper training. At the end of the day, i had to pay for the service because the exam was already done.

I have worn glasses since childhood and am heavily near-sighted with significant astigmatism. For me, even with the best lenses available, the end result was often something akin to wearing goggles. When I visited the Visionworks at Washington Square Too in Tigard, I had two requirements: lightweight frames and the thinnest lens profile possible. Anita reviewed frame options with me and discussed how the frame profile would impact lens thickness in addition to how my eye was centered in the frame. Anita helped me pick out two frame options and I ultimately opted to get a set of transitions for driving and outside wearing in addition to a pair specifically for my extensive computer use that filters blue light. Anita took very careful measurements twice and I then held my breath. Just over a week later the glasses came in and I stopped by before closing… The glasses are the lightest, thinnest, and most comfortable I have EVER had. Multiple people in the store kept commenting that they’d never seen something as thin as my new lenses on a prescription of my strength. Anita was knowledgeable, friendly, listened to my requirements, my budget, and was able to meet or exceed my expectations. I was so happy that there were outbursts and comments in the store from me that were well -- too enthusiastic to be repeated at work. If you have a prescription like mine you know it’s going to cost, all you can hope for is that you get someone like Anita and the staff at the Washington Square Too Visionworks; I would highly recommend them. All the staff that have helped me there have been phenomenal. However, if you do go see Anita -- tell her Jon sent ya! :)

I was lucky enough to walk in and get Leah last weekend. She was fantastic from start to finish. She helped me figure out my health care benefits and how to utilize them the best way. On February 3rd, while out, the nose piece on my glasses broke off. As I need glasses to see, I am legally blind so they are very important to me, I did not know what to do.I went into Vision Works hoping that I could get them replaced - somehow, bit trying to prepare myself to possibly have to buy a new pair of glasses.Leah was amazing. She took a look at my glasses, and even though they were old and not bought there, she helped me out by replacing both of my nose pieces for me. She even went the extra mile in my estimation by adjusting the nose pieces so that they sat very comfortably and I was not constantly adjusting my glasses.I will go back here when I need to get a new pair of glasses. They were friendly and helpful and did not judge me for and old pair of glasses.Thank you!

Just got home from Visionworks and once again they did not disappoint. I have gotten about 5 pairs of glasses there now. I have never had a bad experience, but today I talked to Naveed. He went above and beyond with all his help and knowledge. He walked me through my new insurance. He gave me options and explained everything. He gave me his opinions, but also said we will do what YOU want. Thats what I loved the most! I wasnt pressured into anything and he respected my decisions. He also worked as quickly as he could since I had my kids. I cant wait to get my glasses!!! And I of course will be back when I need new ones!

Incredible experience. Sydney was extremely helpful and kind when I came in with my toddler and husband. Sydney was so patient as I took my time picking out the perfect frame, decided on additional features to the lenses, and explained everything and answered my questions. Always professional, the docks always make sure we understand clearly what our options are, they work hard to find the best pricing for you for the services provided and nobody tries to pressure you into purchasing anything you dont want or dont need. Great inventory of stylish frames and they even offer up any discounts they have available without waiting for you to ask them about it. Today, I saved over $400 on a pair of killer eyeglass frames. Why wouldnt I give them a 5?

I originally had my eye exam at a Visionworks in Michigan a few weeks ago, but didn’t order glasses. After arriving in Oregon, I finished the process at their Washington Square Too location and got excellent service from Leah. Being a first time glasses wearer, I appreciated her knowledge on helping me figure out which lens type and features to get and her input on which frames looked best. After helping me making all my lens type selections and frame decisions, Leah promptly completed my order and now I just need for the glasses to arrive.

Giving my experience a 1-star after a recent visit to Visionworks. The glasses that I ordered arrived and when I picked them up, they were not what I was under the impression I was paying for. The lenses were 3x thicker than my previous pair and my vision was distorted looking through them. I expressed my concern that this was not what I had wanted, nor what I had asked for. It was determined that the different lens thicknesses were never explained to me initially. The customer service individual (named Sidney) refused to apologize for any error and just stared blankly at me while I expressed my concern that I was having a hard time with the distorted vision looking through the thick lenses. I finally asked what she could do to help me, and she said that I could pay an additional $280 for different lenses. I refused that extra amount and was extremely upset that this was the only option. She just continued to blankly stare at me. She also left our conversation to talk to another employee that was standing there and they both started a new conversation, completely abandoning the situation! The look on the others employees face implied that they both knew I was upset over the situation – but they continued on until I said something. I left the store in shock to what had just happened. I called back and Sidney pretended to be the acting manager and was silent on the phone while I continued to express my concern with the mistake. She once again said nothing. No apology, no how can we help make this right. I had to ask her three times to initiate a refund for this, as there was no other option to get this corrected without paying close to $300. She finally gave me a snarky reply that she would initiate the refund and ended the call. When I took the glasses in the next day, she offered to help me then said she had to go help someone else. Finally she went to issue the refund and a manager (Naveed) came over to assist. Again, there was never an apology or a how can we help make this right. She blamed the original salesperson that initially helped me out when the manager was standing over her. While I should have been told initially about the lens differences, if Sidney had tried to help correct the situation, I would not be writing this review. Her utter lack of any empathy and customer service is what drove my decision to return the glasses and never take my business to Visionworks again. Please beware of this place and their lack of customer concern!

Visionworks is by far the best place I’ve ever gone for glasses, but this location goes above and beyond what it means to take care of your patients/customers. All of the staff that I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with have been nothing but friendly and professional, I cannot sing their praises enough! I went in last week with a glasses issue and Leah was the first to greet me. Walking in, I had no idea how I was going to get this particular issue solved but Leah was all over it, was able to find a solution that worked for me (and my wallet), and was professional while still being so personable! Today when I went back in, she remembered my name and exactly what I needed. This team has a lifelong customer in me, and I will continue to tell everyone I know how great they are and how well this location takes care of their customers!

Leah was super kind and helpful! With a high prescription, its really hard for me to find frames that look great with such a thick lens, and Leah helped me find a great frame really quickly. The customer service at Visionworks and from Leah in particular was the best out of all of the places I looked at.

Great customer service!I highly recommend this place. Andrew helped me and was very professional and knowledgeable. The store was bright and clean. And they have a huge selection of frames. I ended up ordering three pairs of glasses and Andrew stayed ½ an hour past closing to help me. I apologized and offered to come back the next day to finish the orders, but he kept assuring me it was no problem. He was also the one who helped me when my glasses were ready. An overall great experience.

I came to Visionworks to have an eye exam and pick out glasses and it was an exceptional experience. What made it great, beyond the fantastic were the kindness and helpfulness of the staff; from the moment I checked in everyone was lovely. The doctors assistant was so very nice; checked me in and performed the initial tests. Leah helped me pick out my frames and went over and beyond the call of service to help me. She has a vivacious personality and I genuinely had a good time working with her. Shes also super sharp and helped me select glasses that made the most sense for my budget. She even stayed after closing hours for me and was so patient and cheerful. Looking forward to having this be my new optometry show.

Very nice place, large selection and great price. My 93 year old Mom needed an eye exam and glasses, both were done with extreme care and patience. Lea was extremely helpful and well trained in helping us pick the right frames. She told us about smart screen and suggested one of pair to be smart screen for computer/reading and the other to be bifocal, to cover both long range and close range. Her product knowledge was much appreciated. We saved over $500. During their sale and still paid under $300. For two sets of glasses.

I really like to bring my students to Visionworks for getting their new glasses not only because of their great customer service here more importantly they also have lab in store which really help my students when they only have 5 days deadline for returning appointment with the FAA examiners in order to get their medical certificates issued in time.I want to thank Anita, Kevin and Leah for their great hep for getting my students glasses done today!You guys rock!

Went into look for glasses, and in the rush of getting there, I forgot my prescription and my insurance card (duh) so even though I wouldn’t be purchasing anything that day Leah spent a lot of time with me helping me with frames and even Sleuthed her computer to find my insurance information anyway since I purchased there before. She was helpful, present and available without being overbearing, knowledgeable, and kind. Appreciate not being pressured to buy. And in this case I may not end up buying my glasses here because of the special medical concerns this time around. But I have bought in the past, and because of my experience this time with Leah and Kevin I will definitely purchase here again.

By far the best experience Ive ever had selecting and ordering new glasses. They have a huge selection and help you identify and choose your favorite pair. Louis was a phenomenal glasses guide and helped me understand my prescription and what type of lenses would work best.

Very friendly helpful staff. I walked in with a broken pair of sunglasses and they immediately were willing to help repair them and even find and shave down a replacement screw. The staff seemed very knowledgeable about their products and how to fix them instead of being just salesmen. Will go back when I need to frames.

I had an exam for an eyeglass prescription here and bought two great pairs for the price of one. They have such a wide selection of frames that I had trouble choosing between them, there were so many great options! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and I left very happy.

My wife and I February 17th of this year each purchased glasses from Visionworks. Leah spent time with both of us patiently and professionally answering all our questions to ensure we were pleased with our purchase. Likewise the eye doctor was excellent. I also had a pair of reading glasses where the screws were always coming loose and the lenses would fall out on the ground. Anita took the time to fix the problem at no cost. Finally the store was clean and convenient to get to.

Everyone was extremely helpful and the selection of frames was great! I had to end up getting my prescription modified after my initial exam and they were quick and very accommodating with all of my questions and problems. Love the new Washington Square Too location, as well!

We are very happy with the experience. This is our second time dealing with Visionworks. They are our go to, for vision care.
