I went in to look for a new pair of tennis shoes and had a great experience there. They Had me stand on a device that determines the right size for both of my feet. And they had a good selection of new balance shoes. I found just the right pair. I realized a long time ago that you will never find a comfortable pair of shoes online. The only way to find the perfect shoes is to go into a real store, try them on and then walk around in them. If you have a wider foot or a high arch, you will love new balance. They’ve been my favorite tennis shoes for a long time and I cannot recommend the store enough. New Balance are also made really well and last a long time. I love to support local businesses so that I will have stores available to try things on and take home the day we need them.

I had Ben help me today. For years I have purchased expensive shoes at Nike and Adidas that were never comfortable. Ben took the time, a lot of time, to figure things out and find shoes that fit me properly and were comfortable. I will be back- the service was excellent.Thank you Ben

They have a scanner that sizes your feet perfectly. We were able to get our foster daughter shoes that fit because of it. That staff is wonderful. The only drawback is that it is expensive. The sizing was free, but the two pairs of shoes and shoe deodorizing balls was $260+.

She Listened to how i work out and the problems i was having with current foot ware. She then gave me several options to try on and was clear on their different pros and cons.

I have been to this store four times and have been extremely satisfied each and every time. I was in need of a new pair of walking shoes and headed out to Bridgeport with my husband last week. (March of 2020). Kylie, the sales associate, was so helpful and friendly. She made sure I was completely satisfied as far as fit, appearance and comfort. She stayed with me until I had the pair of shoes and the inserts that were perfect for me. There is a New Balance store closer to where I live, but I always insist on going to this particular store for their great service.

Coming back to add a little detail to this review.I needed workout shoes for indoor/outdoor exercise and also hiking boots. I didnt think Id find both at New Balance, but I did. I really like to boots a lot. Theyre waterproof and comfortable. The exercise shoes I bought arent great for a wood floor, where I first tried them out, but they will be great for trail running, so Im still happy with the purchase. The girl who helped my dad, brother and me was very helpful and made sure to size our feet before making recommendations. She helped me get wide shoes, which I wouldnt have thought of. We each bought 1 or 2 pair of shoes and all of us left happy. Great experience.

My father and I have been on a heck of a journey to find someone that knows what they are doing as well as can provide a reasonable priced service.. Let me just say the young lady that helped us (Kylie I believe it was) was phenomenal! I can not express how pleased I am with this store. Prices are comparable to other high end shoe stores and the customer service was top notch. She took the time, very friendly, let us know our options (from other stores to doctors) and fit his problematic feet into a pair of shoes that has completely changed how he walks and feels. Staff have adequate knowledge of NB products and other topics related to finding an appropriate shoe. They will usually try to find a discount or deal for your purchase, including pointing out relevant items on clearance or other products being phased out from production. Their on-hand inventory is usually pretty low, so plan ahead for follow up trips to the store if you need to try a few sizes on to figure out which is correct. The stores location can be a burden if youre not located nearby. However, if you can purchase during a sale or navigate their rewards system properly, you can probably undercut the price from purchasing online with shipping. You may have to purchase online if youre looking for an older model shoe.

I work in the area and decided to check this place out. The establishment itself is pretty small but for the space they do carry a wide selection of shoes they offer online. The young lady working made the visit worth checking out. She was a delight to talk to and she is what I would call excellent customer service.

Entering the store I was greeted by a young girl. I decided to be upfront and honest by letting her know I was there only to look and could not purchase a shoe that day. She proceeded to walk me around the store, talking and showing off different styles of shoes. Although she said she had not been working there long, she seemed very knowledgeable by answering all my questions, as well as show casing various shoe options that would be optimal for my condition. She was polite, kind and mentioned there was a store sale coming up. Although I did not purchase anything (due to my own financial situation) I will be back to hopefully work with her again!

The people know their shoes and feet. Ive been having issues with mine for years including two surgeries with persistent plantar fasciitis. They measured my foot and paid attention to my high but short arch, and put me in an appropriate fitting shoe that would work with my feet and not against them. I highly recommend them. Not only was he gracious by greeting me with a smile ( I came into the store 10 minutes to closing time) he listened to why I was there (I am recovering from a head-on collision that resulted in traumatic injuries to my ankles causing terrific pain ) and was super knowledgeable in fitting me with the shoes and accessories, he felt would help. I needed sturdy walking shoes in size 13D, which are hard to fund. Josh helped me select a model that was not yet available, but put in an online order with a request for expedited shipment on the date the model was released. I was happily surprised to receive the shoes over a week BEFORE the release date, and even happier when I wore them, as they really help ease the pain in the plantar fascia. Excellent service and an excellent product! Thank you Josh!

They came apart after a few months, no worn, just came apart.I went into the NB store at Bridgeport, told them my situation, and they tracked down my receipt. Once gotten, they credited me with the original price and sold me better shoes.I really appreciated the customer service!

After a disappointing shopping experience at Road Runner Sports this afternoon, I was relieved to be discover top-notch service and quality product at the New Balance store. I was greeted and assisted within minutes of entering the store. The salesman asked good questions about my needs, my exercise habits, etc, and put me through a quick computerized analysis of my feet. He explained to me the best shoe for my needs and why, fitted me well, and I walked out with a great new pair, all within less than 15 minutes.

Stopped in to buy some runners. They quickly fitted me with the shoe I needed in a color I liked. Altogether a painless process, completed in just a few minutes.

I will never return to this store. We came here in search of wide childrens shoes, which are available on their website. Unfortunately their website doesnt say if a particular store has what you are looking for in stock. So we went in. They were pretty busy, it was a Sunday. I saw three employees, all helping customers. No one came up to us or told us it would be a minute before someone could help us. We found the shoe we wanted to try and stood around waiting for someone to get the shoe in the size we needed from the back. We waited for 45 minutes before someone helped us. In this time, we watched as they helped about 5 customers, three of which took up the most time. The customers were walking around trying the fit of the shoe while the employee just watched instead of going to get more shoes for the people waiting during that downtime. I watched a customer who just wanted to buy a shoe horn (with cash) being told he had to wait. He just walked out without buying anything. Another customer wanted to order a size they didnt have in stock and they wanted to have her pay up front for them to ship the size to the store. She asked why she wouldnt just ship it to her house at that point and the employee mumbled something about them wanting to make sure it was the right fit. When it was finally our turn, we were told they didnt have any wide sizes, and they only carried shoes for school age children (ours is 5 and in school), not infants (again she is 5 and was right there). He suggested we try Gymboree which is a largely baby/toddler store that does not carry specialty/high quality shoes, especially not wide shoes. I was infuriated that this all could have been avoided by someone, anyone, asking what we were looking for. 45 minutes of my day wasted. We ended up finding what we were looking for down the road at DSW and for much cheaper.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit to this location. Worked with Kylie, she was polite and VERY friendly. We will be back!

Walked in by happen chance as the fiancé needed some new shoes. A lady named Kylee helped Diana find her next pair of shoes. I swear she is on 10 cups of coffee because she was zooming from us to the back room to get different types of shoes for Diana to try on. Was the fastest person to ever help us find shoes. Unfortunately they did not have the shoe we wanted in stock so we’re getting them mailed to us.Very clean store and extremely helpful staff.

They have the specialist shoes I need, too fit the braces I wear. Very helpful staff. I needed to use the gps the first couple of times I went there. Multiple parking areas in the edge of the mall, some of the streets are closed to traffic and are pedestrian only, so suggest parking in the first lot you find.

I recently stopped in to find some new training and walking shoes. My past experience has been great. I received a lot of help and attention. When I stopped in recently, I worked with a young lady who was not the least bit interested in helping me. She wasnt paying attention to me. She looked around the store a lot and talked to someone who worked there. She didnt help me get shoes on. She just handed them to me. Because I have arthritis, I had a hard time with some laces. She wasnt watching me, so she didnt know I needed help. Finally, I asked her to help me and she loosened the laces and handed me back he shoe and went back to ignoring me. I can go to other stores and pay less and help myself. I wouldnt buy shoes from her ever!! I might go back sometime and get help from one of the gentlemen there. If she is my only choice I will walk out to never return.

When I am shopping, I enjoy when the staff or sales person dont just go for a sale, which made my visit to New Balance very pleasant. My husband and I each left with a new pair of shoes that fit properly and have aesthetic appeal. Thank you!

This store was disappointing. I went in to buy athletic shoes I was thinking I would get 2 pairs one to run around in and 1 for the gym. However they only had 1 pair of shoes in my size 9 1/2 wide. The gal said the other shoes in the store dont have any support and your foot will turn in award so they only about 5 pairs of shoes in the store with support and only 1 pair 9 1/2 wide. The other option was to order online I could have done that from home I went to try on the shoes and be able to compare them how ever it is hard to compare 1 pair of shoes.

So I have to add to my review. Have had the pleasure of working with Karon and Mitch and then Jennalyn. Well I juat wanted to let you know that I havr been wearing the 990 v5s and havr had no foot pain at all. Yay, wearing them outside and every day. What an awesome shoe. Thanks for all the help. I was blown away by how helpful and how much time both Colin and Josh spent with me. I had a tricky, non-typical problem and they stuck with it (literally for hours over two sessions in the same day) and in the end I walked out with a holy grail shoe.Now I can get back out and train more. Its like I got a special part of my life back. Hats off to Colin and Josh. Looking forward to the next time I need training shoes. :D

Two years ago my friend and I received excellent help in selecting a walking shoe. The salesperson spent time analyzing which shoe would be best for my friend and the same for me. Together we bought over 400.00 of shoes. This year, 3/2016, a young woman was the salesperson. She was not informative and when asked questions responded with short, non descriptive answers. I ended up buying a shoe that I will be returning for a refund. (She didnt measure my foot for size, but asked what size Id been wearing. So the size I bought is not quite correct.)
