They helped me pretty quickly find a better product than what I was looking for. But one star loss because they tried to scare me into buying their upsell products and basically tried to tell me about my skin as if its not the same skin I have had since birth and they know better than me my body and their miracle serum was going to magically erase genetics. And because one associate interrupted me speaking to another associate about my bad reaction to most primers and then she was completely wrong and off base.

The point and convenience of doing curbside orders doesn’t apply here, clearly. Between the misinformation that I received from the associate on the phone to the unprofessionalism of the associates when coming to pick up my curbside order is unacceptable. I’m not understanding how I make a curbside order but have to come in and STILL have complications, in the midst of NO ONE being in the store. 10/10 would not recommend this location to anyone.The fact that employees are unaware of business hours and what information to give out to customers is alarming. How do you work here and don’t understand that? Then when inconvenienced I was told that there was an “error in communication and nothing that could be done?”Never coming back.

This Ulta is my favorite place to get my hair done. The stylists always do a great job no matter who you get! I recently got my hair done by Jeanette and she was so pleasant and did an amazing job. She also gave me great recommendations for new hair products (I was looking for a new shampoo and conditioner) and she gave me so many options at different price ranges so I could find what was perfect for me!

Wow! Walked into the store wanting to exchange some products... no one their to help me!!!! I ask the greeter Frances, was there anyone can help Me on the floor, she told me “no sorry and that she was working the front/Register right now. Which is fine but try and grab another teammate to help me. I ask her where was the nearest Ultra she told me Orland and blew me off. I came in wanted to exchange items not to return ONLY.

Im giving it two stars because the girl that rang me up at the register was super sweet. But I asked a different girl for help because I couldn’t find what I was looking for. She was just standing there talking to another worker so I didn’t think i was bothering anyone lol but that’s exactly how I felt. She just stared at me and told me if it’s not on the shelf we dont carry it and then went back chatting w/ her coworker. I ended up finding what I was looking for but it would’ve been nice if someone could’ve actually helped me you know?

I was there this weekend and kept asking the cashier for assistance. She said someone is on the floor already. I walked around looking for the floor associate and nothing. I went back to the register and asked if she called someone and she laughed, rolled her eyes at me and mumbled to the girl next to her. I waited 25 minutes and no one ever came. How does a nice corporation hire someone who thinks it’s funny for someone to stand around while waiting for help and doesn’t get help.

Im always dragging him to beauty stores, but hes patient. I had to do make up for a client, so this was the closest beauty store in the area. Anyway, this Ulta Beauty was similar to the other one I visited. It seemed well stocked, although it was out of the item that I wanted. Its not a deal breaker but I did make it work with the alternative they had. The customer service from one of the employees I encountered couldve been a bit better and upbeat but it wasnt super bad. I will definitely visit this location when I am in the area.

One of the employees that works here was following me around the whole time making me uncomfortable and wouldn’t stop until I left. Even when I did leave, she continued to stare at me thru the window. I had drove 35 minutes just to come here for the specific product I needed but I can assure you I won’t be coming back. Awful customer service and no greeting at the door. Never coming back here again.

Absolutely LOVE this place AMAZING STAFF if they do not have an item in stock they will tell you how to order it and pick it up at the store. Also an employee told me how to use the App to see what store has the item and also told me that if an item just dropped give the store at least a month before they will have it. I FOUND THAT VERY USEFUL 🤗🤗

Was very unhappy my Ulta service, quick background I am platinum member and shop normally at the Hodgkins or Orland park location. This was my first time doing a pick up in Tinley because Tinley was the only location that had my product in stock. Soon arrival I waited in line for my order, before the pick up process I had made it know that I ordered my item the day before And that I had gotten an email to receive 200 points for any purchase over $25. Of course I wanted the extra 200 points to get the rewards. I told the girl multiple times letting her know if we can do the return exchange and that I wouldn’t mind the process of waiting and she was completely fine with it. I had also asked if I should just cancel the order, but I don’t think she understood what I was trying to do . She did the pick up first and then went to do the return/exchange for the same product ( so I could get the extra 200 points) she called her manager over because she did not know what she was doing. While the associate was speaking to the manager she was also making it sound like it was my fault and that I had ordered it without activating the point when I explain multiple times to her that the promotion had started the day after my order was created. Anyway, the manager had said I would have to wait 24 hours and then could do the process of a return exchange or call customer service (which I had also explained that customer service did not do that for me last time I called and asked) Which is very very very inconvenient for me because I work 2 jobs and don’t normally have the time to do that. As a loyal Ulta customer I am pretty disappointed that the employee does not know the policy and instead of me canceling the order, I have to find the time to go back to Ulta.I have tried calling customer service in the past about a similar problem where is was a one day 5x the points and unfortunately customer service had said it would have to be under the same order to get the points. At least the 200 points is for the week, so I guess that’s the only plus side.i know 200 points isn’t an extreme amount, but it would’ve been nice not having to go through all of this because an associate didn’t know the policy. Reply to establishment: correct, which is why I would have canceled my pick up and created a new purchase for the same item. Thanks for the reply though!

I booked my very first facial here. i purchased a 45 min session. I got there at 3pm and started filling out the paperwork. The girl asked me in front of everyone what my issues were... like, really? Anyways, she started doing the facial and it was great. She seemed well informed and answered all of my questions. Her timer kept going off at weird times, which she apologized for but she also left the room a few times. She told me we were done and I said wow, that was fast, she left the room. I looked at my phone and seen it was 3:43. I got nowhere near 45mins especially since I was filling out paperwork and answering her questions. She recommended a bunch of dermalogical products and I asked if it would clear up my problems. She gave a very confident yes. I bought everything and when I got home, I realized I didnt get my 20% off for being a first time customer which I mentioned to them. they told me they couldnt give me my money and would get 20% off next time. I used the products as she said and nothing about my skin has changed. thanks for wasting my time and money.

The store was very organized. But what stood out the most was the staff, absolutely amazing. When I walked in I was greeting with a hello from the cashier, as well as I noticed this with every single person that walked in received a delightful welcome from her. When I proceeded to shop I was approached my numerous employees checking on me and seeing if they could help me. Once I did have a question I walked over were some employees were fixing products on shelves (pretty much staying very busy and making sure the store was looking straight and nice) and I didnt even have to say anything, they acknowledged me first and asked if there was anything they could help me, even though one of the girls had already asked me once. Which I thought this was amazing due to the fact I didnt have to get their attention they were grabbing mine instead, five 5! And the girl Kaitlin was so helpful explained everything that I asked about, helped me find something that would fit best with my skin type instead of just trying to sell me anything there. She took the time to learn about me and she thought about a product that would fit me personally. Then she proceeded to explain everything in it and what each product does and why she recommends that exact product. She made me feel really comfortable with talking to her about my skin type and the current products that I use. After she gave me her card and took my information because she wanted to call me in a week to see how this new product works for me and she expressed that if it doesnt work out for me to let her know and we could work together to get the right product for me. Never have I walked into a store and had such an amazing experience with sales. I wont go to any other Ulta after my amazing experience there.

Dont waist your time booking appointments at the salon. I made an appointment for my mothers birthday for makeup application with (Lauren) and got a call to cancel 30 minutes before the scheduled time. No one even tried to accommodate the services (Mattie) took the call and when asked is there someone else available she stated no. Mind you I had to ask for accommodations. I shouldve known something was up when they lied and said they called the day before to confirm services. I had to call to confirm on my own. DONT WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Kelsey has been my stylist for years, and I followed her when she came to Tinley park Ulta. She is so sweet and makes me laugh my whole appointment! I usually dont bother to review many places but this one seems necessary. Everytime I go to this Ulta theres practically no one around to help, theyre all just sitting around talking. If you do get them to help you, theyre clearly annoyed and half invested in the conversation. Also, almost all the makeup displays are a complete mess and no one bothers to fix them when theyre all messed up and all over the place. And the big thing is that they dont even have half the products that the other Ulta locations have, its so frustrating.

They were all just socializing with each other and I walked around for about 15 minutes and had to approach someone to help me out. I felt as if I was bothering the them. Suzan was amazing. Im a 30 year old woman who does not know much about skin care or makeup. So here’s a long story short of The Good & The Bad.The Good: They carry many products other locations don’t, such as Proactive skin care.The Bad: Some of the cashiers are kinda unpleasant to deal with and kinda odd people overall. The worst seems to be this non Muslim woman who wears a hijab still, super ignorant... and has the largest fake butt I’ve ever seen.Odd review I know, but frequent clients who read this will know exactly who I mean and agree with her rudeness displayed.

I love this ulta but today I went in right as it just opened and i came for the Ariana grande new perfume line, they did not have it put up on display so I thought maybe they forgot and maybe they have it in the back. I approached a lady with red hair and at first she didn’t make eye contact with me as she continued to open a box up.. she didn’t even check to look back in stock she was just saying “whatever is up there is all we have” carelessly. Ariana said the perfume line was at every ulta on her instagram. So I was disappointed by a lady that didn’t even wanna check if they were in the back.

I went to the salon to get a nice burgundy brown color, and left with hot roots and Ariel red hair. My stylist knew I didnt want vibrant red, so she mixed purple and red and assured me itll turn out exactly how I wanted. She applied the color, and then dissappeared and didnt come back for AN HOUR. My scalp was on fire, and she never checked to see how it was processing. She washed and blow dried and you could see she knew it wasnt right by her face, but totally hid it and shooed me out the door before i could really look. I paid my $200 and left. As soon as I left, I saw how bad it was. I called and got no help other than you can come and we can add more red. So I went to Sally and bawled begging for anything to fix it, and the stylist there was so furious there that she had a few choice words for ULTA because it was literally that bad. We marched back over and showed in person everything that was wrong, and the manager (male with short ginger type hair) said Im not sure what to say, other than we can set a consultation with the stylist to see what she has to say but I cant give a refund. I explained she already said to add more red even though I already looked like Ariel with crazy roots and he said oh well the thats just what youll have to do with her. When would you like another appointment with her? The stylist from Sally lost it, and blatantly said you dont add more red to this and couldnt believe they were licensed. Bottom line, I didnt go back there, I didnt get a refund, and I would not trust them again.

I have been to this location several times and I can’t say that I’ve had a bad experience. I lost my make up bag and we all know what a hassle this can be for some of us and our makeup .... well, I couldn’t remember the name of a particular under eye concealer and two of the girls I spoke to were exceptionally helpful ! They both looked on the computer as I desperately described the packaging, color and shape of the container ... they didn’t give up on me and they looked and looked through the isles carefully to try and jog my memory ! Bingo ! Finally, we found it !!! It was SMASHBOX ! Lol I am so very grateful to both of these young ladies .... one girl had the prettiest eye makeup didn’t get her name and long black hair and had a white lab coat on and the other girl was very tall and said she was a make up artist someplace ! I went into Ulta a week ago because I had a hour to spare while I waited on my daughter to finish up with cheer practice and what better way to kill time than to shop for beauty items. I had every intention on purchasing some new lip colors and some more too faced products. I looked around in the store for about 45 minutes and not one employee asked if I needed any assistance, I watched several other costumers that came into the store after me receive service from employees that volunteered help. If the store was busy I could understand however in this case it wasnt. I wandered around the store receiving look after look as if I was being watched but never any verbal response until an employee heard me on the phone with my husband telling him about how I have been in the store for 40 minutes and have not been asked if I needed any assistance and how I didnt like the looks I was receiving. I normally try to stay away from this location in particular because I ALWAYS leave this store feeling the same exact way. When shopping at other ULTA stores I receive great costumer service its just something about this Tinley Park location that lacks costumer service. Its sad that I would rather drive the extra miles just to avoid this location

I had my 11 year old daughter with me who is very mature by the way, when I walked into this location to buy some Anastasia products. No one even offered help. Every one was socializing or giving me a weird look, I dont know if was because of my race or because i brought a child in the store as maybe they have an aversion to this.
