Hands-down the best bait shop in Titusville! Great service and always has the freshest bait in town. They open early too!

Took a last minute fishing trip on 8/21/21 from west Orlando and stopped at Captain Hooks because on my route and was open (was about 7pm). I always try to use local baitshops to support them and I find them to be very helpful since they know the area. My rule for pretty much any business is that if they treat me like Im bothering them by buying their bait and asking a few questions is that I will never use them again. CAPTAIN HOOKS is the type of shop that will absolutely get my return business. The variety of baits was tremendous and very alive/feisty despite it being late in the day. The setup for their tanks is amazing and is why the bait remain alive and full of vigor . Prices were reasonable. I wish I got his name, but the young fella working at that time could not have been more friendly and helpful. Since this was a hop in truck and just go type trip I hadnt done my typical research. No problem, this fella was more than happy to get out his phone and pinpoint some areas and suggested baits/lures. These are the things that keep me outta the chain stores and going to the locally owned bait shops. For an average fisherman like me, walking into a place like Captain Hooks reminds me of the way my Dad used to love going and hanging out with the fellas at the local barbershop for a while. Now I get why. So keep it up Captain Hooks!FYI, me and a buddy will be on your doorstep at 5am on September 11 to get our bait!I have not been asked to review Captain Hooks, dont own it and not getting anything out of this besides wanting to share my experience with other anglers (I rely on yours as well) and to support and recognize a great local bait shop in my opinion.

Unless you want baby shrimp that look more like crikets in size. Dont ever go there! Theyre overpriced and rude! Never going there again 👎

Hands down the best bait shop on the Space Coast! I’ve been shopping this veteran friendly bait and tackle store for the last 5 years and I’ve always received great service with a friendly smile. I have purchased everything from live sand fleas, live mullet and hand made fishing rigs from Captain Hooks. Although, I had to buy the shrimp, I won the pictured filet knife I used to slice this nice drum with in one of their free giveaway events!

The gentleman there was very nice but the prices not so much....I bought very few items and the total came to around 38 bucks...I puckered a little bit...and paid...you get me once shame on you get me twice...I think not....unfortunately walmart here I come....

The prices at Captain Hooks are probably the best in the area, the staff are always supportive and they know the shop for what you need.Ive even butt-dialed them on my phone and theyve called me back within 10 minutes.There are more than happy to answer the phone and give you an update on what bait is available.Suggest calling ahead, because you might want to bring your cast net if they dont have live mullet.

My favorite bait shop in Titusville, hands down. The owner and his wife are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and current fishing conditions as well as whats biting. They always have reasonable rates on bait. They stock everything you need. So if youre fishing the Titusville, Merritt Island or Canaveral National Seashore this is the spot for all your fishing needs! I highly recommend this spot! Great service!

My favorite bait shop in the area. The employees are super knowledgeable and helpful with a lot of great tips. They have every type of bait that you could want and the prices are much better than most of their competitors. They also have a pretty good selection of fishing rods/reels and will help you to find the best combo for the fish your targeting. Highly recommend this little gem!

Two or three bait stores in this area but this place is my favorite. Extremely friendly and goes out of there way to explain the different types of lures and bait options. Great place and I will always come here when fishing the east coast.

Best bait shop in the state! I have made the mistake of trying other shops out, only to be disappointed. Either they overcharge or they never have live bait available. I built a livewell for my trips to St.Pete and stop by for bait before driving over. I will never make that mistake again. Im loyal until death, or I move out of state.

We always stop here even when were fishing in the southern part of the county because Captain Hooks has the widest variety of live baits of any bait shop weve visited in Brevard County. The gents who run this place are always friendly and knowledgeable. They also wont try to oversell you on any particular type of live bait.
