Was referred to this store from a friend who got their Wheelchair there. Big mistake. I even had to create a new email so I wouldn’t be berated/harassed for posting a negative experience which seems to be how this company handles criticism. Justin did the home eval and was kind and had a great attitude. Lorraine, however took over a phone call and I’ve never spoken to someone less personable in my life. She only took my call after KC borderline screamed at me for disagreeing with her personal brand of “customer service.” Two words of advice to the owner: GROW UP, another two for potential customers: STAY AWAY. I don’t know how long they can hope to stay in business with such sour attitudes but I definitely will not be contributing to it.
I have been using Active Medical for over three years. I am delighted to recommend this wonderful business to all. I am located in South Carolina, but my sister is located in Titusville, FL. I have purchased a quad cane, a wheel chair and a lift chair in the last three years. For the cane, I was in Titusville, It had to be ordered but was available in only 2 days. The wheel chair was a special order and they delivered the chair to the Assisted Living facility and went back to make the seat more comfortable for her. Last week, within four hours of calling about a lift chair, it was delivered and set up. I cant ask for a better arrangement. Justin Buckner, you are a wonderful man. I feel blessed to have you to talk to with any need that arises. Thank you for your time and services on our families behalf. I will be back when the need arises.

Went in because Dr recommended them. He said I could purchase online or at this location. I chose to come here because I make an effort to shop locally.When I entered someone announced that there was a mask wearerYes. I respect simple science and wear a mask in public out of respect for others.The person that came out did not wear a mask and couldnt be bothered to listen to what the Drs recommendations were to me.Two major customer service fails in less than a minute.I wont be back.
Compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, funny, well-staffed store. Being a caregiver to my mom and working as a CNA, I have dealt with numerous people in the medical field-HANDS DOWN, all the ladies here were so attentive, and concerned, offering an ear to my mom, informing her of the products she needed and finding her the most cost-effective solution for her even though that item was least expensive on Amazon. THAT IS EXACTLY HOW A BUSINESS SHOULD BE RUN and why THEY HAVE EARNED OUR REPEAT BUSINESS from now on. Pass it on- good work ethics and a family atmosphere. There are even two great dogs there for keeping us calm through the process. Can’t recommend them enough.
