Just got here from another state and could not have picked a better storage facility!!!!! The lady in the office Shawn is just awesome to deal with. From start to finish she makes you feel like family and ensures you have all the info you need to access your storage locker. She even gave us a list of great places to eat. I would recommend this place anyone.

Great place. Lower cost compared to nearby facilities and the climate control is on point. Some facilities have “climate control” that is still rather hot and humid, not here, no humidity to ruin your items at Life Storage. Shawn in the office is great to work with; super helpful and great personality. Facility is clean and well lit.

It’s been a minute since I’ve had to move anything into storage, BUT, I would TOTALLY recommend Miss Shawn and Life Storage to ANYONE looking for a place to store their belongings. We have had NOTHING but excellent care and absolute love from Shawn since our very first phone call with her! The facility is clean, secure and well run. Shawn knows every person who has a storage unit, and makes you feel like part of the family. I am so glad we found her! She made a very stressful move easier.

I used this location for work when I had specific storage unit requirements, so I knew exactly where to go when officially moving to the area. Shawn is truly one in a million! She is amazing at her job, incredibly personable, and always puts a smile on my face. Every interaction with her makes my day better whether it is over the phone or in person. You can tell she takes pride in her work and wants for everyone to have the best experience, which is rare to find these days. Her assistant Alison is lovely as well!My belongings were delivered via an 18 wheeler. Shawn made sure to walk me through the exact procedure beforehand as well as personally took the time to show the driver exactly what to do when he arrived so he would also be comfortable. This storage facility is also extremely clean and secure. I feel safe storing my personal belongings here. I can not recommed it enough!

The manager here is great. She was very helpful to us and worked to take care of a issue with a Storage Unit that our son had and we had to take care of it after he passed away.We had a large climate controlled unit there for many years.The location is clean and well keptDo recommend

I had shopped two different places before talking with Miss Shawn at Life Storage (prev. Big Tex) and after talking with her I needed to look no further. They were able to meet all my storage needs and were courteous, friendly, and professional. I have already recommended to family and friends, but Ill add that Miss Shawn made me feel like a valued customer and not just a paying customer. I only needed the storage while moving between homes, but would use again if I have any storage needs down the road. Also, having access to a moving truck was a great perk under Big Tex that I dont think Life Storage offers. Overall, a great experience!

We recently decided to downsize our home and sold our home at the end of July. Our new home wasn’t ready until the end of August. Enter Big Tex Storage and Shawn Miller. I’d known about this storage facility for years so thought I’d stop by to check it out. Shawn was so kind and helpful and showed me a couple of sample units. I couldn’t believe how clean and tidy the overall facility was. It’s really clean and well maintained. I chose 2 large units, one climate controlled and the other not. The climate controlled unit was very comfortable temperature-wise during the peak of summer and was great for our temperature sensitive furniture items. Shawn is an absolute pleasure to deal with and made the overall experience fantastic. She knew me by name whenever I’d call and always took great care of me and made me always feel like a valued customer. I’d highly recommend this location to anyone looking for clean, secure and well maintained storage.

Ay first it seemed to be the best option, I was with them for more than 2 years, I paid in advance and got good deals, when I stopped being a new customer they really never cared about me anymore, I was telling there were better deals close, they always said they were the best deal in the area, which is not true, I told them couple times I was gonna move if they didn’t offer a better price and that’s what happened. I found a great better deal for a bigger size unit, customer service at the new place way better and it is just a minute away. Big Tex is a great option for a newbie not for an all time guest. Be mindful before making your decision.

We needed short term storage for our move from one house to another, Shawn the GM was great. It provided easy access to our unit, plus moving dollys. great job girl, keep it up.

I found myself needing to store my furniture, while leasing my house. I made a call to Big Tex when Sean answered the phone. I was very surprised by how professional and helpful Sean was on the phone that day. Because I had been there before and had spoken to another representative. It had been a couple of years and I did not feel very welcomed at that time. Because of the great service I received from Sean it made me feel confident that my storage unit would be secure. I have been there for almost a year, now. I would recommend Big Tex to anyone that is looking for a secure and friendly storage facility.

Big Tex Storage was a wonderful place to keep my things. The set up was easy! The lady at the front had the paper work sent to me in no time at all. I was able to get advice of the size storage I would need so I didn’t rent a unit too large. The rate I was given was perfect and very low compared to other places. When I was finished with the storage I was able to get out and cancel my contract with zero problem. The storage only required 10 days notice which was very easy for me. I would HIGHLY recommend Big Tex Storage for anyone looking in the spring/The Woodlands area.

I had 2 storage units when I first sold my home May 2018. I eventually downsized into 1 unit. Everyone I dealt with was so very nice and helpful. The place was always clean and neat. I never had any problems or complaints. I have never used a storage unit before so this was a very great experience for me. I will continue to recommend your business to all my friends. I actually could never think of using any other company for my storage needs!!

Had a storage unit and car parking for over a year although car parking is limited in availability. Excellent service and security. I’d recommend to anyone looking for temperature control storage as well.

I had a unit for over 3 years. No issues, good price, helpful personnel. Convenient use if the moving truck. Cheaper of the other storage in the area (at least at the time I signed agreement) and good deals.

This storage facility is very expensive. Almost $300/month for a 10x20.They had great intro rates but it went up to a rate 3x higher than the local average for the same quality of storage. A family member booked this for me while I was in the middle of a rush move so I didn’t look over the end promo pricing or I wouldn’t have moved into this unit. It’s not worth the intro rate just to have to move the whole unit again in a couple months.People may be nice but the pricing is ridiculous. Really regretting moving in here and paying the full price even if it was only for a month.

Shawn and Lisa were fantastic and we got a great rate for 3 monthes of storage. I was able to borrow the truck for the day to get my boxes moved. The online process was easy, then I came in to finalize the lease. All told, everything was arranged in about 15 minutes.

Big Tex Storage is a first-rate storage facility. The premise instills confidence in security; utilizing over-lapping video cameras, pass code protected access control, and plenty of lighting. The facility layout makes it easy to manage vehicles with entry/exit at either end of the site. Lisa and Shawn, the service administrators at the Tomball facility, are second to none when it comes to service. They were both knowledgeable and curteous when I requested information over the phone, making my decision to use Big Tex an easy yes. Needed both temporary and long-term, climate-controlled storage near Creekside as we were just moving to the area. Big Tex is clean, safe, convenient, easy, reasonably-priced, and well-run; Shawn (the manager who also lives on-site) is thorough, professional, and charming.Quick anecdote: before you access your unit, you enter your unit and access codes through a keypad at the front gate to disalarm your unit, and then again as you leave to re-alarm your unit. One day early on, I didnt close the latch all the way. That apparently tripped an alarm at the front desk. We were less than a 1/4 mile away when Shawn called to let me know, so we could return to fully close the latch. THAT is good service.
