They hired a very disrespectful girl her name is crystal miles and shes loud and rude and very disrespectful to customers and half of the time she looks higher then a kitei will never go there againshe flirts with girls bfs and husbands and she trys to get mens phone numbersand if the manager was amart rhey would do background checks and drug test on her frequentlyand keep close eye on herbecause shes not a good person

Hiding behind McDonalds with ample parking and if youre in a wheelchair easy to get in and out of the store. They always have carts available and the store is clean, organized and the shelves are always full of great deals. I play the crazy deal game of getting something free and going back to buy coffee, Bobs Red Mill and socks as my dryer keeps eating them.
I regularly go to OSJL for my favorite snacks- dried pitted dates, crystallized ginger chunks, figs, prunes and dried mandarin oranges.I am always pleased with the short pants and tee shirts I find there this time of year,too.

Very similar to its other locations, just a different layout. Unique items at fair prices. Everything from unrefridgerated foods and beverages to clothes and seasonal outdoor items. A good selection of pet supplies as well. The store is clean and theres plenty of parking. The only downside is that some of the staff could be a bit more pleasant and helpful.

Im a bit of an Ocean State Job Lot connoisseur, Ive visited many of them and this one is a little better than average. Its a huge store and it is spread out nicely, the aisles arent crowded. As is typical with any OSJL, you never know what youll find in there. I was pleasantly surprised to see a decent late-season selection of flower pots in stock.
Well stocked, cleaner than most OSJL and not many stock outs.
Shelves are never stocked and alot of times dont have whats in there flyer.
People are super sweet and helpful

The staff was nice enough but when I went there there was a policeman at the door taking the names and numbers of people that werent wearing masks in the store. Seeing as they didnt put that mandatory obligation or enforce the importance of wearing the mask before,I just find it a little extra and intrusive of the company to put a police patrol at the exit door not the entrance. And that those police felt that they had a right to take citizens names and numbers, for simply not wearing a mask. As I mentioned earlier, it wasnt a requirement for coming in the store but yet it was a big deal walking out.I wasnt happy about it and I dont think Ill be returning to that store until this pandemic is over

The workers were incredibly polite and very easy to talk to and get along with. The manager and the cashiers smoothly and enjoyably got customers organized and out of the store. Checking out was a easy positive experience. Also had everything I needed at mind blowing low-affordable prices. I deffinatley recommend trying this store before anything else to see what they have that you need.

This store is great but Im not to sure whom does the ordering but I cant ever find big and tall sizes here. If you need 3-4 x sizes you may have better luck in the Canton store.
Stopped by quick to get a board game for a Christmas gift and I went to check out and the girl at the register was miserable. Threw my change at me and didnβt say two words to me. Sad to see someone who is lucky to have a job act this way.

Enjoy finding bargains in this store. Buy most of our coffee in here for $3.99 for a 12 oz bag. Sometimes its a hit or miss with the coffee flavors. Going to miss it when my hubby and I move to Florida.

I always love going to Ocean State in Torrington. The employee are friendly and helpful. The prices are good and I love getting crazy deals. Today I got everything to give my bathroom an uplift. Got two rugs, two shower curtains, two liners and a set of towels for $64.00. Great deal

Employees are very nice and theres great deals. My only complaint is sometimes the store is disorganized and its hard to find stuff. For examples, missing price tags. When I dont see a price rather than go ask an employee, Im more likely to just not buy the item.

I like this store but the store gives me pure anxiety! Everythings everywhere! Sometimes I get lost for my husband and kids and it taking a little bit to find them. Its just I wish it was more organization in the store. Or more in employees to help find things easier.

Ocean State Job Lot is well lit and neatly kept. They sell a wide variety of items from soup to carpets. Prices are generally discounted from normal stores and the available merchandise is fluid.
Always a cool experience stuff comes in and out though gotta get it while its there!
As usual Ocean State Job Lot is a interesting store, you never know what theyre going to have and if you find something good that they have thats cheap buy it up because you may not see it there next week

Its Ocean State Job Lot. Lots of cheap stuff. Whats not to like? Keep in mind that although theres plenty of good finds, not everything is great quality. Once you figure out whats good and whats not, its a great place to stretch your dollars.
I had a wonderfule experince at Ocen State Job Lot. I was helped with a great employee named Matthew. He went above and beyond my expectstions for any questions or service i needed. Exspecially coming in from out of town. If anyone deserves a raise itd be this amazing employee. Thank you for the great experience. Ill be back for sure.
