This store is always very clean and my preferred store to shop at. Their produce is always really fresh and crisp and they have a wide variety of items to chose from. Their seafood selection is always great especially the marinated salmon!

For being in what appears to be an upscale shopping area, this was a dreary, depressing grocery store. Poorly lit and grimy feeling. Cattle line to get to cashiers made you feel as welcome as going to the DMV. Mothers Day flowers were sadly limp and flaccid. Prices in general higher then Market Basket and other competitors.

Good. Good meat, good produce, good staff, short wait, good selection, low prices.

Its not the biggest or cheapest or best selection, but within about 20 minute drive nothing else comes close.. I go there probably once a week and buy mostly perishables and then go to Westford or Nashua about every two weeks to stock up on bulk items. It has a decent selection and reasonable price, good for short haul shopping.

Always has what I need!

I dont know what the night managers issue is, I came in the other night and asked her if they had a restroom and she had the gall to show me to the public restroom. I told her that I needed to use the employee restroom as I know they have better supplies and she lied to my face, told me the employees use the public restroom. LIKE anyone would ever believe that. After all of this I also had to wait in line as they didnt have an express checkout for preferred customers. Dont know how anyone can live/work in a disgusting hoodrat town like this.

Made to go to the back of a huge line with one item ! I politely asked if there was a separate line for self check out and Josh rudely told me no and sent me to back of the line this isRidiculous! I think he’s on a power trip

Nice and clean not crowded

Townsend Lions Club continually receives support from our local Hannaford supermarket both in collection box donations and support for our events and as a result we are able to serve the community with multiple scholarships to NMRHS and North Middlesex Technical HS as well as donations to our food bank and providing visual aids to community as needed. We appreciate their continued community support.

They never carry what Im shopping for. Much smaller inventory than most Hannafords.

Local supermarket with good selections. Prices arent the cheapest but you are paying for convenience. Dont forget your reusable bags, single use bags will soon be banned in Townsend.The cakes in the bakery are very good. They do have good selections of meats.

For a smaller scale grocery store, the selection here is WONDERFUL! Great variety!

Always good service and selection. Great deals in the deli and and meat areas. Try the steakhouse marinated steak tips, wife and i love them.

The store is well it and well stocked and the person on there are first rate. I took away one star because the prices are above average as far as Im concerned. Conversely they are not so high that its worth going somewhere else to do your shopping. All the food is fresh and excellent quality.

They are back to normal operation.

I love this Hannafords. Its small but just big enough. The staff are friendly and happy to help. This location is great for running in to grab milk or doing a full shop.

I usually find hannafords a cheaper than grocery store & use the one in Bedford nh more, even though I live in town. I find this store to be filled with employees that are rude & unhelpful. The staff treats others working with them terribly. I wouldnt want my child learning any kind of life skills here. They are very rude in the hiring process.

Prices are good enough to keep me from driving across to NH to save on taxes (1000 times better than Donelans) and the store is generally clean. They have a pretty solid selection of meat and the staff is friendly. The only reason I couldnt give them 5 stars is because there have been several times where I try to use the self checkout line and the machine is either already down, or goes down while Im using it and nobody comes to help.

I was pleased going into this store. Bright, clean. Staff very attentive. And to my surprise the ladies room was super clean.

A nice medium sized, local grocery store that was a pleasant surprise to find so close to us especially now that were not near a major city. The produce is some of the freshest that Ive come across and much of it is local.

The local Hannaford supermarket in Townsend is my goto place when it covers to food shopping. It is a bit smaller than the one located in lunnenburgh but it has all the things that I look for on a regular basis. They have good produce, meats, and also a decent fish counter as well.

I couldnt find something so they asked if I found everything ok... I said I couldnt find one item and they went and got it for me. I was very pleased about that.

For warning people with Wic do not go here they try and charge you $5.65 when everything is covered and then give you attitude. You just lost our business

I am very disappointed that this location has stopped making “best creme” cakes. They are the best cakes and I always have to travel to the next location to get a best creme cake. I hope they will continue to make them at this location.

This is a smaller store but thats why I like it. Not too busy, not overwhelming. Great to pick up a few things! Not a huge selection in some areas.

Great place to shop . The produce and meat are of the best quality. And as a former employee of Hannaford i know what care is given ( using standard practices)to assure that everything is of the freshestand highest quality .

It’s Sunday afternoon and understaffed and slow. Not enough cashiers or baggers.. My line was held up by someone cashing a large check, rather then having a special counter for that, like Market Basket does...store layout is tight and not set up so you can easily shop the perimeter, which is the standard guide for healthy shopping.

This store is clutch for when were out of milk, eggs, bread, or something. Now with the app, they have tons of coupons for all the hygiene products. The staff here are always nice too.#iamclintfit

The checkout process is a mess.

This is the WORST Hannaford store in the chain. Kim in the Deli is rude and slices meat in a huge chunk of slop. My fruit is always sour the next day and this store is into my pockets for at least $30 in meat that Ive had to throw away because it is bad before the expire date. I wish it was not the only place in town to shop.

Prices are high its a small store what are selection is a good selection but I swear some of the staff on drugs not even exaggerating couldnt even check me out with out counting 30 times and messing up like thats what the damn scanners for watch what kind of people you allow at your registers

Store is very cramped. Purchased frozen broccoli and opened it immediately upon returning home. It was clear the broccoli was thawed and refrozen as the stalks were no longer green, but grey/white. This is a place to shop for last minute items only not someplace to do weekly shopping.
