How much money are you missing out on not being open when the community has the most free time. Weekends and after 5. I know at least 1500 to 3000 from me. I understand employees need time with their families. But just think how much more you could make If you were open until 6 during the week and 4 hours on Saturday.

I wanted to share a pretty disappointing experience I had with the Epic Powersports and the owner Tommy McDonald. Tommy had advertised a brand new never used Force Turbo kit for their shop Polaris General. I had reached out to Tommy and expressed interest. I asked Tommy if this was a turn key kit? Tommy’s response was, “yes sir, comes with everything you need to install on the machine”! Unfortunately, this was not the case AT ALL!! The turbo kit was missing the oil return pump, had a bad turbo seal, and most importantly, did not come with the map sensor that provides the additional fuel needed to to supply the motor for the additional hp added by the 5lbs of boost! Needless to say, I installed the system on Tommy’s work of this is a turn key system. Long story short, this blew my motor because of the lack of fuel which overheated the motor causing the pistons to detonate. This has resulted in me having to have my motor rebuilt $4000. I have begged Tommy to make this right. I simply asked for a full refund on the system. I did not even ask for the cost of all the damage this has caused. Tommy did respond and said he would be willing to give me parts at cost plus shipping! I have begged him to make this right. Tommy has now ghosted me.Wow.. great way to take care of someone who trusted your word Tommy! Thanks for the $4000 in damage and the additional $2600 for a turbo that I cannot use! Let’s not forget that I sold my tuner and stage 5 Trinity exhaust from the original set up that I have now had to repurchase.Unfortunately, I will need to take this to the next steps due to the lack of response or assistance from Tommy (Epic Powersports) and the amount that this has cost me.

I try to spend my money at local establishments when It comes to snowmobiling. Epic is one of the only in town that is not a dealer. Always been good to me and they get what I need in a reasonable time frame.

Tommy at Epic went above and beyond to get me back in the trails.The part I was looking for was backordered but they had a used part in stock and got me dialed in that day! Phenomenal service as always Tommy and Matt-Clay

Received absolutely fabulous service for my sons RZR 170 side by side. Classic Power Equipment had it for 10 weeks and did nothing but move it further back in the stack of vehicles to service. Epic stayed after hours to receive the unit, repaired it within an hour, and completely detailed the machine prior to giving it back to me. There is no better service in Traverse City!

Called to ask about some atv repairs, wasnt helpful at all. Told me could be $100.00 to $1000.00. Then tells me to take a few pictures and he maybe able to give me a better estimate. So I did and after I stopped by with photos he actually said it would be about a grand. I need 2 $15.00 gasket replaced... but tried to tell me why he would just overhaul the whole motor. Really I know Im a woman but Im not stupid guys. Good luck

Matt and the fellas at Epic are fantastic! They were the ONLY ones in Northwest Michigan that could get my extremely popular UTV tire (Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 - that nobody had in stock) in one day. They had it installed and even let me pick it up AFTER business hours! They totally saved my vacation!!I STRONGLY recommend using Epic Powersports!!!

Poor communication throughout the entire process of getting my snowmobile worked on, the owner Matt referred to me as ‘buddy boy’ at the end of the sale when I was there to pick up my snowmobile. 1 stars for the work performed onlyMatt,I appreciate the response but I’m going through the snowmobile now and discovered the spark plugs were only hand tightened. The snowmobile won’t start. What should I do?I’ll be taking my snowmobile to another mechanic to double check all the work and update this review again with the diagnosis

I went to Epic for some fuel line for my Honda Mini Trail. The customer service I received could not have been better. They cut a piece of new fuel line for me and I was on my way in 5 minutes. I will definitely do business with Epic Powersports again.

100 dollars to change a scooter tire? Even if I bring my own new tires? Classic Motersports will do it for half the cost.. plus balance them as well.

Really great team. They make you feel that your important not just your business with them. They truly care about you and what your needs are whether it be motocross, Street rides, any orv, or snowmobiles. Awesome place to have in traverse. And better pricing comparing to the other Powersports shops.

All you need to know about Epic is get to know Matt, the owner. Ive known him for over 10years and the guy just refuses to fail at anything. No doubt Ill be reading / seeing Epic grow again and again.
