We were in need of a new water softener after ours died. Our water was very hard and had a distinct smell of sulfur. We thought, wrongly, that we also had a iron issue.After researching water softeners, we narrowed our search down to two companies. Sean, the sale rep for Pure Water, came to the house and instead of being a sales rep, he was an educator. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and concerns. He tested the water on site and came up with recommendations. We had some follow up questions which were promptly answered.We gave Sean the approval to proceed and received a call in short order, from Jenny, for scheduling installation which would be about 10 days later in that they make their softeners to match the needs of the client.Adam and Adrian showed as promised in the time window Pure Water had indicated. These two guys were AWESOME. We had very limited space to place the media container and the brine container. The moved the water heater and pipes to give us more room. They drained both of our water heaters to ensure there was no lingering bacteria causing the sulfur smell. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement. Many thanks to their efforts!We no longer have issues with the water taste, smell and have white clothes that are still white after washing.I cannot recommend this company enough. Adam installed our new water system today and he was OUTSTANDING!! He went above and beyond to make sure that he placed the system in the perfect location, even though it meant more work for him. Adrian just completed the annual system check for the osmosis system in my house. His knowledge of the system and his thoroughness in checking the units and the water quality are outstanding!

Excellent customer service. Jenny was great to work with on the scheduling side. Our technician, Ben, was extremely courteous and knowledgeable and walked us through the “essential” questions we had on the system we owned (system was installed from previous owner) and gave us a strong sense that we were in good hands. Service call price/parts/maintenance were very reasonable. If you have water quality issues give this business a call and expect terrific results.

Every interaction I’ve had over the years; Just always mildly snippy on the phone. It must be a terrible place to work.

Our service tech was Matt and his service was exemplary. We recently bought our house and Matt came out, went through our system, explained it, did several water tests, etc. Our softener is older and near the end of its life based on age. There was no push to replace as system is working well. Would highly reccomend.

Ron my service tech was extremely polite, very friendly. He arrived on time and was finished in a timely manner. Hes a keeper!The office staff is always very quick to help me schedule appointments. I really like the call once a month regarding a salt delivery.

Mike and his apprentice Aaron came today to service our homes water treatment and were particularly mindful being that we have well-water. I believe this is the 3rd or 4th visit by Mike. We have consistently received extraordinarily professional and expert service and input from Mike. He didnt rush the testing, actually did them twice. When I asked if there was a problem he answered, no, I just want to reconfirm that all is good. I watched as he took the time to carefully explain to Aaron what and why he was doing a task. As a plus, both of them were very careful to dry any water that may have dripped. As an aside, when I have called to Pure Water the staff has been very helpful in answering any questions that I have posed to them. If you want a first class water treatment contractor I highly recommend you give Pure Water a call; they really know their business.

Weve been using drinking water from Pure Water Works for 10+ years. We have wetlands on our property and lots of iron bacteria and orange slime that has been a nuisance. It was finally time to replace an old non-working water softening system. Sean came out, tested our water and gave us a very fair written bid. He was always quick to answer or return my calls when I had questions. My husband and I decided to buy our new system through Pure Water Works. Given the size of our house, we needed two identical systems.They have been FABULOUS and have changed our lives!!!!! No more cleaning the toilets every two days, no more using water that smells like iron and tastes like blood (yuk)!! Its been almost two months and I wish we had done this three years ago.Besides Sean, I want to give a huge shout out to our installation techs Ron and Adam. They had a NINE hour day putting in additional piping and removing the old system.And I cant forget Jacqueline who calls me every month to get my water and salt order!! Shes a sweetheart!Every employee Ive dealt with has been exceptional!

We live on the east coast but have a summer home in northern Michigan. My husband was looking for a water treatment system for the cottage and asked a local. They said call Pure water works. So glad we did. From start to finish they took great care of us and treated us respectfully. Our salesman Sean was delightful and very funny. Weve had a couple of questions since the system was put in and the staff is quick to answer each time. We didnt bother getting additional quotes but it doesnt matter. Thanks for doing a great job! I know who to refer others to now up north.

Bill and his staff exceeded our expectations in the purchase of our replacement water softener. Water quality is far superior to what we had with another brand; we could taste and feel the difference immediately. Mike was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond in the installation and setup process. Would highly recommend!

I have been a raving PWW fan since 1999 and have always found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. I replaced the original water softener recently that PWW installed when I built the house back then. The new technology that PWW crafts to your individual water situation is awesome. During a recent visit to the business to pick up salt, I had a chance to work with Bill Siegmund himself. I would consider him to be the Doctor of water! He took the time to explain water testing particulars and even personally tested both the hot and the cold water from my house. We are lucky to have PWW in Traverse City.

SO helpful!!! Our home inspector did not test everything we needed him to test in order to submit our loan application, and we found out shortly before we left for our honeymoon. We submitted the sample thirty minutes before they closed on a Monday and had results by ten am Tuesday. Really grateful to Cady and their team.

We had 593 riders from 14 states with our youngest participant 1 year old and our oldest 78 years young. Had water testing done through Pure Water Works in the process of buying a home. I wasnt greeted or even acknowledged for several minutes after I walked in the door, even though four people where within my vicinity. Then had to deal with an incredibly rude woman. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. How hard is it to be polite to your paying customers?!?!?

I have worked for a Business in Atwood MI for almost 9 years and we have been doing business with Pure water works even longer than that and I have had the pleasure to be able to interact with the delivery guys and they have always been professional and pleasant to work with a great company as a whole

We have had our soft water system 15years and have never had a problem. Excellent service and customer relations.

We got our system from a very nice knowledgeable man. After that it has gone downhill. My husband stopped in to discuss a problem it took them a week to call and address it and that was right after I called to follow up. Very poor customer service. Took them months to fix a problem they made and then tried to get me to pay to fix it. Its sad that a descent product us ruined by such poor customer service.

I called FOUR TIMES about a position and had to Leave a voicemail every time for the manager she never called me back, just called back to speak to the manager she was there but then told somebody else To tell me the position had already been filled and she never gave me a call back in the first place. Real professional people.

My whole experience with Pure Water Works has been a NIGHTMARE! Customer service is totally non-existent. Dont expect anyone to call you back, even if they say they will. We worked very hard for two weeks to give Pure Water Works our business before finally cancelling and having Culligan take care of us. Contacted Culligan on Friday and by Tuesday the Health Dept. had their paperwork, the reverse osmosis system was installed, water was tested and we were able to move forward with our loan process. We wasted TWO weeks trying to work with Pure Water Works. No one would call back, they couldnt seem to get the required information to the County Health Dept. so we could even have the system installed. I was even told that the Project Manager would call me - that was a week ago now and havent heard a thing. In looking at prior reviews (I wished Id checked them first) it looks like poor customer service is a systemic problem within Pure Water Works and has not been addressed. My review: Pure Water Works = 0; Culligan = 10+.

I cant recommend Pure Water Works highly enough. We live on Lake Leelanau, and we put a new well in in 2015. We have hard water (86 grains of hardness - super high), and we developed a problem with iron bacteria. We hired an individual who put a softener in, but it didnt manage the hardness well, and it did nothing to deal with the iron bacteria. The water had that iron bacteria stink that was AWFUL. We didnt drink the water all summer. We bought countless gallons and bottles of water. Schlepping those from Meijer every week and constant trips to the recycling bins was such a chore. Here we had spent all this money on a new well and a softening system and we didnt dare drink the water! After spending an entire summer (2016) desperately trying to get this individual to fix our problems, we realized that he just couldnt do it. He meant well, but he lacked the wherewithal to handle the situation. So we contacted Pure Water Works last August, and Sean came out. He did a water sample on the spot, told us what our situation was, read the water test reports I had personally done through a local testing company, and he began to put a system together to manage our problem. He was here most of the day. He made calls to his boss to make sure his plan was going to give us perfect water. They installed the system in April (we are seasonal residents, and we wanted to wait until Spring), and now our water is perfect! Perfect Ph, softness,no bacteria, no stinky smell! They installed a twin softener and a Hellenbrand Storm system that puts ozone in the water to create an environment where iron bacteria is inhibited. We put a reverse osmosis filter in under the kitchen sink, and we have the best water Ive ever tasted coming out of that tap. I drink more water than ever! Its so satisfying after such a long disastrous summer last year. They will deliver those heavy bags of salt and put the salt right in the salt reservoir for you for only a few dollars more per bag. The staff is ALWAYS courteous, friendly and efficient. Ive texted and emailed Sean with questions, and he gets back to me in a very timely manner every time. Dont believe that review about bad customer service - it simply isnt the norm there. And if there were a problem, the staff will do whatever they can to make it right. For example, when we installed in April, we did spring a small leak. They tech came out THAT NIGHT to fix it because we were leaving the next day. Superb service! Pure Water Works is a company of hard-working professionals who can change not only the quality of your water, but the quality of your life.

Wow, great customer service went in on a Saturday for a part and the receptionist took my name and number and called me back first thing on Monday morning, hard to find great companies like this anymore!
