Cute little ice cream shop right on Front Street! Absolutely adorable with so much to choose from.The staff were kind and patient with my sisters and I whilst we tried a couple flavours. They even have their own recipes for serveral ice creams they serve (and yes, they have Superman. Whats a Michigan ice cream shop without it?) Very unique!I will definitely return the next time I visit Traverse City.

How does this location only have an aggregate review of 4.2?? The Traverse City Cherry is one of the best flavors and that alone is worth a 5-star review. Ice cream is a luxury and this is the place to get it!

Fudge done soooo well! Its also a performance art. Watching how labor intense the process is, you appreciate the treat in a deeper way. A must stop, and the perfect gift to bring back to deserving friends and family.

Doing their best to take care of all chocolate lovers, Kilwins has a side window where you can order your goodies. There is a menu available, courteous staff, and a wide variety of sweets. Today I got some Irish creme truffles, a box of milk chocolate and even a box of sugar free chocolate. Happy day🤗

Unfortunately I cannot give more stars. I wish I could. However when I went to walk in a lady cracked the door and wouldnt let me enter because my INFANT child, whom I was wearing In a baby wrap, DIDNT HAVE A MASK. To clarify, I DID have one on myself.

Best strawberry ice cream I have ever had and anytime we come to Michigan its my go to every night. Great fudge and friendly staff. Only negative was they closed at 9. We watched every night as we ate our ice cream 10 to 15 families walk away to the competition. Extend until 10 and youll make so much more

They were very friendly, and very quick to help me.The girl that did help me was working on some stocking when I arrived, but quickly dropped what she was doing to assist me.Me greatly appreciated the attention I was given.The displays and packaged assortment are delightful.Their prices can feel a bit inflated, but I promise you it is worth every penny.If you live in town, or are just visiting, this is a fantastic stop. Great location, lots to choose from, everything from fudge to ice cream tastes delicious. Staff was very friendly, courteous, helpful and prompt. Prices are a little high but normal compared to other shops in the area. Love the double caramel fudge and fudge ice cream!!

I thought it was very over priced, I got a single scoop in a chocolate dip waffle cone and it was over $7!!!! Ice cream quality wasn’t that good and the waffle cone was not fresh at all!! Very disappointed!!!

Kilwins Chocolate has the best ice cream in Travers City. The peanut butter chocolate ice cream was to die for. Its convenient location just adds to the experience. If you are stopping in Travers City you must stop here.

We were visiting friends in Kalkaska and they suggested going into Traverse City.We hadnt been on a walk around there in years. We had good service and we bought both fudge and some chocolates. Thes fudge was one of they best I have ever had.The chocolates were good but not as good as the fudge. We were offered samples, and the youngman who waited on us was very polite. I would most definitely return and purchase more chocolate fudge. We bought 3 different kinds..

Terrible customer service! And Devious practices. Turtle fudge is displayed beautifully, chocolate with 3 large veins of carmel, front thru to back. My best friend visiting from Boston takes photos and sends to her son back home. Of course, he wants the Turtle fudge. I recommend the she ask for a piece that resembles the display (because the last visitor friend I brought, was totally dissapointed that the piece she got was practically all chocolate with only one tiny bit of carmel on one side). The counter person said NO. You can only have the last piece in the row! ...with more than a dozen pieces on the tray. We asked to see it and as suspected, it had hardly any carmel. We would have left, but were now committed to he sons wishes. Next, we ask to see just the next slice on the tray, hoping for an improved piece. She is very rude and says every piece has lots of caramel (My other frIend and I know better). When we ask to compare the 2 slices she rudely says we already saw the other piece! Then we asked the price of the first piece. Response: ...depends on weight! All pieces are approximately $6 slice. Then its weighed and costs $ 6.99 My friend asked her to weigh the 2nd piece and then she contradicted and sniped that theyre all the same! My friend asks her to humor her and weigh it and she slaps it on the scale...shes correct. Theyre all the same approx 7$ each not $6 each! She was so mean and rude, we asked to speak to the owner. She says she is the owner!!! I will never bring my visiting friends to Kilwins in Traverse City, ever again!!! Too bad for the Kilwin good name: good product, bad franchisee.And all I can say is... A happy customer tells 2 people, but an unhappy customer tells 20!!

Very disappointed in the fudge quality. Second time tried their fudge and found it very dry and crumbly. Will never get fudge here again, especially at $12.00 a slice. Very overrated!
