I was tasked with picking up 32 feet of hose from GTRS, for my employer. They had a length of hose pre-cut, labeled as 37 feet. I figured they would give me the 5 extra feet for free, since I only needed 32.. So I bought it. Upon returning to my workplace, we lay out the hose to cut it in half, only to find the hose is 27 feet long. BIG problem. I get scolded for not purchasing the correct length. I pull out the bill to make sure I didnt screw up, and noticed they charged me for the full 37 feet.. And it was short by 10. INSTANT HEADACHE. I call to let them know of our predicament, that we are cutting one 16 foot section and cant use the other 11. They reluctantly said theyll exchange it. I go back and theyre all huffy, saying this has never happened before.. they swiftly disappear into the back with the remainder of what was originally purchased, and come back to throw a 21 foot piece onto the table. I tell them that I didnt need or want the extra length, I needed one 16 footer and a refund for the extra 5 they tacked onto the bill. The guy snaps, flies off the deep end calling me a liar and a thief, and BANS me from doing business with them again! What?!? No problem!! My employer sent me! GTRS SUCKS!
