Theyve serviced my vehicles several times and I am always pleased with their professional and thorough work. Ive never had to get their work fixed by someone else - when they repair things, they actually repair them!!

Had a quick inspection done because of a sound in a work van. Guy at the front desk hopped into the car for an inspection even though I knew they were super busy and booked up. He didnt hesitate to reattach a skid plate that was loose for free. They were helpful and very polie.

Jim Manginos automotive shop is hands-down the most reliable, accurate place to take your vehicle in Trinidad. His team works hard to figure out whats going on with your ride and his prices have always been reasonable. Ive been going here since I was 18. Mangino does it right. I wouldnt recommend taking your vehicle anywhere else but here.

I was in town for a few days when my car started making a terrible noise. They fit me in to look at it and determined it was safe to make the 200 mile trip home. They even showed me what was making all the noise and pointed out that I really needed new brakes and struts, even though they knew I wouldnt be getting the repairs there. I appreciated their professionalism and courtesy.

They will not let you bring your own parts.

Mangino Automotive Center was recommended to me by a plumber working in my home. I went there for an oil change. I couldnt have been any happier with the experience. They are professional, competent, and honest. The shop is very clean too. I will be returning when I need maintenance on my car in the future.

We got to our motel in Trinidad for the evening and a scary rattling sound had just started about twenty miles earlier. I called around and no one said they could see us except Mangino’s - it was near closing time, but they got our car up on the rack and took a look. The shielding around our muffler had worked loose, and they put a bigger bolt on it and charged me a very fair price for what was a minor repair to them, but a major help to us. Thanks!

Our Honda Odyssey was having vibration problems on a Friday afternoon during a road trip. We were referred to Manginos by another repair center in town that was too busy to help us (or something like that). Manginos mechanics took the van for a test drive, then brought it into a repair bay and diagnosed an axle issue. They confirmed that it was still safe to drive in spite of the vibration. They couldnt get the part until Monday but we needed our van by Sunday afternoon, so we couldnt leave it with them and we went on our way. They didnt charge me for the diagnosis.So, I didnt have the normal repair experience with them. But in my short visit, I found them to be a very honest, intelligent repair center. The garage has about 4 repair bays, and you can see the cars being worked on. I doubt Ill need car service in Trinidad again, but if I do, I would definitely go back to Manginos.
