The service area was busy on Monday, November 1st, so I did have to wait three hours. No problem there because Id brought my homework. The downside was having to listen to very vocal persons being obnoxious with the service manager which is so typical in public conversations at this time. Despite that, I left a happy customer knowing my RAV4 was serviced properly.

Ive been taking my car to Phil Long Toyota for the past couple of years and I cant say enough good about their technicians and staff. They make every effort to handle my repairs as effectively and affordably as possible. Their Maintenance Plus coupon booklet has been a great investment, and I would recommend this program to anyone who lives in the Trinidad area. She does a fantastic job of coordinating the efforts of the highly trained technicians, and goes the extra mile to ensure that I feel confident and well-informed.

Great experience purchasing a new Tundra. We were able to test drive it on rough terrain to make sure it would do what was needed. Our salesman, Scott, answered all of our questions and made us feel welcomed, not just trying to push a sale. Getting the running boards and new tires put on was very timely. Was travel through Colorado when my 2018 Tundra battery went dead. Was able to jumper the truck but as I continued to drive the gauges started acting crazy and the video screen reset several times. Called Phil Long Toyota as they we the closest to me and explained the situation. They told me to come in and they would determine the issue. When I got there everyone was extremely friendly and nice. I explained my wife and I had two dogs with us. They told me to bring them in, the place was dog friendly. So while they checked out my truck we enjoyed their lounge and I believe the other customers enjoyed the dogs! They dogs really like the attention!The service departed ran the check and determined it was only a dead and leaking battery! Changed the battery and we were on our way again ! Felt like we had made and were leaving good friends! I’d buy a car from this place as well as have them service it!

Elisa, my service advisor knocked this out of the park! Seriously, her and her team should be promoted, given raises, and publicly praised for their professionalism, empathy, and care. I brought my truck in for an appointment, but due to miscommunication, were unable to complete what the vehicle required. Elisa demonstrated service- leadership in taking care of me and my family. She gave us a rental car, and then delivered our vehicle back to us once it was finished. Due to my tight schedule, Elisa completely turned a negative experience into a phenomenal one. My family and I were in two vehicles traveling from Texas to a wedding in Colorado. Just before we stopped for the night in Raton, my Ford F150 began to misfire on acceleration. Not a problem you want going thru The Rockies! I went to the local ford dealership the next morning and they were booked. They gave me the numbers of a couple of places up the road to check. They were both full as well. The second was Phil Long Toyota. Although they were booked, they said they would have their mechanic take a look. We made it there and they took it in right away. My family browsed Trinidad (excellent town) while the kind folks at Phil Long took care of business. They replaced the spark plugs and a couple of coils and we were on our way in a couple of hours. Im not kidding: They really saved the day - and our trip! Special thanks to Elissa who took us in and the mechanic who fixed our truck. These are friendly folks and we wont forget their kindness!

If I could buy a car from Scott Fields I would! My college aged son and his three friends broke down in their Honda CRV at the top of Raton pass on the way from Dallas to Westcliffe, CO. They diagnosed the problem and unfortunately couldnt fix it, but helped us get the car to Pueblo for the needed repairs. They were even willing to give the boys a ride to Westcliffe. The service department went above and beyond for us! Big shout out to Ron and Mitch! We were traveling through on our way back home to Texas when one of the vehicles in our group broke down. Mitch was great in communicating with us. Ron did a very detailed assessment of the damage to the vehicle due to overheating to make sure we weren’t making unnecessary repairs if the vehicle couldn’t be salvaged. Thankfully we just had to replace the radiator and do some other maintenance repairs. They made sure the car is ready for my daughter to take back to college. They even took good care of the loaded trailer we were pulling, keeping it safe and sound until we could come back and get it. My daughter and I needed help getting the trailer hooked back up to our car and Mitch wouldn’t let us go till he made sure it was safely hitched. You can trust these folks with your car. The most pleasant car purchase experience Ive ever had.

Interestingly enough in a state that is known to draw off road tourists, this dealership is not equipped to accommodate land cruises of all generations. While I understand from an inventory stand point this may be an unreasonable expectation, the customer service and parts of assisting in these situations is an entirely different story. OReilly (autopart store) on the other hand, had non of the same issues. OReilly was willing and able to best assess our need, order the part, and have it delivered (within an hour of our current destination). Long story short, if you are needing immediate service, I would not count on this Toyota dealer to provide assistance.Signed disappointed

Helped me get an oil change bright and early at a good price.I would have given a 5 star review for him but I wanted to mention that a Lisa (short, kind of got a karen hair cut) was very unprofessional and rude to both me and the 2 service workers loudly and out in front of everyone in the dealership. Customer service is excellent!!!Gave 3 stars because I went in for an oil change and they had my car for 2 hours and hadnt touched my car so I had to take my car an leave for work. Rescheduled for a couple days later but the wrong oil was put in the car because of some mix up so it had to be redone. But they also send an inspection video to you phone telling you what needs to be fixed. All in all good service and great customer service.

I went in for a complimentary oil change and safety inspection. The service department video taped the inspection and even took me under the car (by camera) to see what was happening. Afterwards, I received a full print out of recommended repairs for my car. It was very helpful to have this information verified by a technician and provided to me in writing.

I had a great time looking for a car at trinidads phil long Toyota. Jeremy Maucione helped me. He had patience and knowledge of all the vehicles i looked at. He was never pushy or over selling. Once i told him what i was looking for and my price range he never went above that and he helped me view all my options. I would strongly recommend Jeremy to help you if your ever looking for a car in Trinidad.

I took my vehicle there on 5/12/2020 for an oil change. After reviewing my invoice receipt I noticed there was a 3 mile increase on my odometer from the time I got to the dealership to the time I drove it off the lot. I emailed the dealership when I got home and a (salesman) called me the next morning regarding my email: I asked if it was standard procedure for their dealership to test drive a vehicle after a simple oil change? He stated that it was not standard procedure and he would talk to the service department and call me back. Well, he never called me back. I had 29,497 miles on my odometer when I arrived at the dealership but if you look at the invoice you would never know that it was my vehicle that was ever there. In the MILEAGE IN / OUT space on the invoice they have 25,939 IN and 25,942 OUT and on the sticker that is placed on the windshield for next oil change it has 29,439 mileage and 9/13/2020 due date. So, with that being said I will probably steer clear of that dealership for a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time. Im not even sure I would go back there if they offered me a new vehicle. Youd think that people would have a little more sense than that.

Today I brought my car in to have some work done on it, tires replaced and a toe bar installed in my suspension. I wanted to do the toe bar myself but am very ill, so I asked them for a quote. Im planning a trip soon which is a big reason for the repair work, but the quote was just a little more than I hoped for so I was back to planning on doing the work myself when I realized the part wasnt in my car. At first, I panicked thinking they were closed already but called anyways to check. The gentleman who answered was very helpful and understanding, and even called the mechanic at home who worked on my car, who informed him that because Im a loyal customer in there a lot, they installed the part for free. I could not be more pleasantly surprised, this was one of the better parts of my night in the end.

The folks at Phil Long Toyota were fantastic when our pick ups water pump failed on a long trip from Montana to Texas. They were able to get it replaced and get us back on the road within a couple of hours. They were able to turn what could have been an awful situation into a relatively minor convenience. I feel that one star is probably over rating the service capacity of the Trinidad dealership. I had a radiator replaced in a 2003 Toyota. We purchased the radiator from a local parts store. The Top Notch mechanics there never took the new radiator out of the box to ensure the fit, although they did remove the old radiator first! Of course it didnt match when they attempted installation of the new one. Mechanics 101 teaches you to look inside the box first. These shade trees then remembered there are two radiators for a 2003 model. We live 55 miles from Trinidad. So, the old radiator needed reinstalled as they did not have the correct one. They charged for the reinstall of the old radiator but gave me a so called break and only charge half of the new install cost. All I get are excuses and diversion tactics from the shop. I would not purchase anything there or use any so called mechanic services and I intend on sharing this suggestion with everyone I know or meet. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

The process in purchasing the vehicle was no fast talk or promises.Discussion was held in a friendly manner and explanation of varies options in the purchasing and of the trade in.Previous vehicle was purchase in 2016 and went back to check my options and was treated with politeness and professionalism.Sale staff Ms. Murphy was very helpful and took time to explain the process in purchasing the vehicle, not to just make the sale. Plus all staff was available for any questions.Atmosphere of the Phil Long Toyota of Trinidad is a five star business which is a tribute to the staff.

I spent about a year researching which type of truck I was looking for. I narrowed it down to two models. I found the best price for these two late model vehicles at Phil Long in Trinidad Colorado. This was after visiting true car, carvana and four dealerships in more metropolitan areas. I believe the pricing has something to do with the fact that the later models are not certified pre-owned at this dealership. On a reliable, late model vehicle CPO may not be a necessary feature. This information I had to find on my own. It was not terribly transparent. It was a fairly typical car buying experience. I was given a document to sign in which I would select the finance package by my bank. I actually read the document and discovered I was also signing that I agreed to the price. We negotiated. Then there was the intensity of the up sell on various warranty packages. My overall impression was that this is a fairly well run business with decent employees. I would also mention here, that this business has donated several times, in several ways to a surgical mission organization I belong to. I can certainly see the value of a auto vending machine and am curious how auto dealerships will respond to them.

We stopped on a whim as we were driving through Trinidad, but Chris, the salesman, knocked on our car window and invited us in. Everything was so clean and neat and orderly that we decided to look around for a while. We had to continue on our weekend journey, but we returned on our way home and bought a lovely new RAV4 hybrid. What impressed us the most was the relaxed atmosphere and the competent people. We never felt rushed or pushed. Definitely go here!

It had been a long time since I have purchased a car. I started looking about a month ago to find a Highlander. Looked locally in Albuquerque and Santa Fe was not real pleased on the pricing. Stumbled along Phil Long Toyota in Trinidad and found the best one. Spoke with Ashley she sent several videos of the car and we worked out the price over the phone. We drove the 3.5 hrs to get the car. Unfortunately tires were not available in the town and they had to be ordered in. We signed with no pressure went back home. Once the tires came in Ashley drove the car to Albuquerque at No Charge. The whole experience was low pressure and saved me 1000s on price.

I always take it 3 hours from my house to Trinidad for my maintenance check because their shop has excellent customer service and is very thorough!It is so Awesome because Ron, sends me a videos of the maintenance he was doing. He showed me everything that he checked and reviewed everything with me by showing everything on the video. It was awesome to actually see everything with my own eyes! I wanted my tires rotated and they couldnt do them because it has the factory lugs and I guess the impact wrench couldnt loosen them. I guess they didnt try the good old fashioned lug wrench. That is how I rotate them to loosen them, then I use the impact wrench. So much for certified personnel.
