I needed a transmission for my moms car. I am a weekend mechanic but normally do electrical & drivability diagnosis and repair. They had a trans with 52k miles. I ordered it over the phone by credit card, and they had it pulled by the end of day. I picked it up next morning. The yard is really nice. Well organized and the counter area is clean and well lit. Everyone was super friendly. The yard looks clean and organized as well. They also had some really nice used cars. I got a free calendar and two pens!The transmission was in really good shape and drives and shifts perfectly, like a new one. I am really happy I chose them. They also had it for a very fair price. They had a plate installed to hold in torque converter and they left all the important parts on the trans and there was no damage which made installation a breeze!

Called ahead asking for a couple parts, they send me pictures, showed me the car the parts came off of, and were very friendly before i even got there. i got a radiator for my 2010 charger and it works like new. will def come back again.

Ordered part, shipping was prompt, part was broken, would not refund parcial payment, BAD BUSSINESS !!!!!!!! STAY AWAY !!!!!!!

I have been here on 2 occasions. The women are extremely helpful and never condescending if I ask questions. The parts I have bought are a blower motor resistor and a wheel for my car. They removed my tire and let me keep it from my old wheel and gave me the tire on the new wheel plus a bag full of spare lugs, as a fee of mine were stripped. I asked for a blower motor resistor, and I got the whole blower motor, wiring and harness too. It works like a charm. Great service. Great parts. Great prices!!!

Called yesterday to A&B Auto parts on a wheel that was advertised on carparts.com. I called and spoke with Mel she was very polite and accommodating. After several hours she had one of her representatives send me the pictures of the wheel in its entirety including tire and center cap. She told me it would be complete. I sent a representative over to pick the wheel up in which he did, however upon return there was no center cap and charged me an extra $10 for a core. When I spoke to Mel today she said that she wanted to charge me another $25 for the cap and did not believe that she needed to tell me that the cap would not come with the wheel. this information is provided for you who may go over there assuming that you are purchasing a part for a certain price. My advice to you would be to clarify all details including the final cost before going especially if its an hour drive.

One of the only places i go when i need parts, little bit of a drive for me but the customer service and parts they have are always worth it

I called to buy a car bumper and ask the lady if the already have the bumper taken off. She said yes and it was all not true. Part still on the car. I drove 45 minutes there and got nothing.. bad place to do business

Shop was well maintained..and easy to get to. What I was mostly impressed with was the staff. Very friendly...very professional..and most importantly verk knowledgeable. Found the part I needed and had it off in no time flat. From what I saw maybe one of the more organized and well ran Savage yards I ever cane across...I will certainly be back...

Not sure if this place is still open. I saw a car part online that i needed and it said they said they had in stock. I called and called no answer. I drove up there during their posted business hours and there was nobody there. It was a waste of my time driving all the way across town just to find out they were closed, when theyre posted hours clearly State they should have been open. My suggestion for them if theyre still open is if for some reason they have to close during business hours have an answering machine or something that would communicate that when people call. I rarely only give one star but if any business was deserving its this one

Horrible business. After sending a driver 3 hrs round trip to pick up a good and tested transmission for one of our clients, we installed this good transmission. We are an A+ rated automotive service with 5 stars on Google. Our investment was over $800 in the transmission part, materials, travel and fuel time and technician/bay time. This transmission was bad. This company replied Were sorry... we cannot deliver a replacement. It is out of our delivery area. We are paying dearly for doing business with this horrible business in time and costs. Do not do business with this company. They do not care about your time and money. Horrible!

I work with 100s of wrecking yards and this is up there for one of the worst yards. The only thing they are good at is telling you what you want to hear and wasting your time. Be very careful when using this yard! Mel is awful I would recommend using someone else if you must use this yard.

Easiest and friendliest transaction I have ever had at a salvage yard. I purchased an engine. It was loaded within a few minutes of my arrival.

The only place that I go to for used parts.Other salvage yards make you bring your own tools and rummage through the yard taking off the parts yourself. Here they do it for you and at prices that are lower than almost anywhere else.

I have personally purchased multiple transmissions and engines, abs pumps, bcm/ ecms for not only customer cars but also my own vehicles from them. Their prices are fair, and quality is ABOVE average! I have never had any warranty issues and the staff is extremely professional and friendly. They also have a huge selection. If youre looking for a back yard shade tree junk yard this is not the place. They are a business oriented computerized inventory recycling yard. I know their is a time and place for a junk yard, but there is also a time and need for professionalism and these guys excel in that.

The worst junkyard in town. Al they know how to do is lie to customers. Purchased what was supposed to be a 120k mile motor that they just had running yesterday before they pulled the transmission. Just to find out that it had 270k miles and knocking. When we went to return it I was told by an employee of A and B that this happens all the time. I left a review about this experience but it seems that A and B took this personal because when I called about some wheels they had them in stock but when I should up the girl behind the counter said that I dont think we have them now. So later that same employee wrote on my review and admitting that she was lying that they did have them and didnt want to sell them to me. It just goes to prove what a horrible place that A and B is. If you dont think Im telling the truth I have the A and Bs employees comments screenshoted to prove it!

I setup buying a Motor with these guys on Wednesday. They told me it would be pulled by Friday. 3 day wait. Not too bad. BUT its now Wednesday. And they keep telling me im #2 on the list. And they got rude with me saying they didnt have to pull it. I am a shop owner and was professional with them the whole time. And they still got rude. Just cant do business correctly or talk to customers respectfully. Horrible.

They really know there stuff when it comes to cars. I got a engine from them for a 2000 grand cherokee i heard it run before i paid for it sounded great so a day latter got it. got it down in my suv and it would not start so i called them and they said to check all the conectors and ground wires so i did. Every thing looked great so i called them back they said they would send someone out to look and it when they did not have to do nothing the guy gets there and in no time it was running. come to find out when i put the engine in i must have hit the coil pack on the fire wall. Did not charge me nothing no service call nothing. thank you A and B AUTO PARTS

These people do business very poorly they lie as part of their policy. I purchased an engine from them that they said had 54,000 miles on it. It was very clean but had likely been cleaned. I installed it and it burned oil, 1 quart every 1,000 miles. I did a carfax on the VIN on the receipt and it had 184,000 miles on the donor vehicle when it was wrecked.I returned the engine and they charged me a 50% restock fee because the engine ran and they did not cover excessive oil useage.

Auto salvage yards, by nature, are dirty, ugly, and filled with people pissed off about their vehicular problems. In my opinion, A & B autoparts offers as high a quality of service as you could hope for given the work being done there.

This business will price their parts at todays market of official auto parts store & that is not good knowing the potential of the part to fail as an as is policy
