I went into the store overwhelmed because I was struggling with some audio equipment and was met with grace, patience, and technical excellence. Took my daughters trumpet in for repair. Spoke to three different people as appropriate and all were extremely friendly. Set the instrument should be back in a week which strikes me is pretty quick turn over right at the beginning of the school year. Always have good service at marshall.

Always pleasant. Great customer service and super knowledgeable. We took our used clarinet in for a cleaning and they loaned us one for free until it was finished. That was an added bonus!

I just had a really bad experience with Tim. I brought our clarinet to repair. The repair technician gave us the repairing estimate was $146. We paid $146. After one week, Tim called me to pay $235. I went to the store to see what’s going on. One lady from Marshall checked our account and told me that we paid the estimate cost $146 and they definitely would repair it at the cost. After five days, Tim called me again and asked me to pay $235 again. I really don’t understand how could Tim do that.

My first experience was not that good.They work so slowly and never gave me a call when they promised.

I never write bad reviews, but frankly I am very upset with this company. My sons school goes through this company for their band instrument rentals. We attended the meeting to pick up our instrument, an Alto Saxophone, but they were out of them at the meeting. We were told that we would receive the instrument the following week, before my sons first band practice. Well it has been TWO WEEKS, with no instrument and no word from the company. I actually called them today to inquire, was put on hold for 3 minutes, then told that they had to contact their Road Rep and they would call me back shortly to let me know when we could expect our instrument. Well, of course, I never received a call. I am just astonished that they can run a business like this! Especially as I had to actually give my ss# to rent this instrument! I am very, very unsatisfied with their business so far, and may end up cancelling my order all together and going with a different company.

I went to go get my flute repaired and they called so when we went to go pick it up i seen that somethinng wasnt right so i consulted with the tech and they took it to get repaired and that they would call us when it was done. about 2 weeks after that still no calls so i called and they couldnt find my flute. thats right, they lost my instrument. as of right now im not so happy with this place.

On June 25 I brought my sons brand new bassoon in for what his teacher called a few minor adjustments (I had previously bought piano books, metronomes and other small things at this store at 4052 Rochester Rd Troy, MI) . The clerk informed me their tech would look at the instrument and that I would get a call with a cost estimate within a couple of days and. if I agreed on the price, the order would be completed within 7-10 business days. I said OK. As by July 2nd (!!!) I had not heard anything back, I drove to the store and asked for an update. The same clerk apologized for the delay and promised me I would get a call with this information on Tuesday July 7th. Although that was already late (in case the price seemed exaggerated, it would leave me limited time to take it to another store and still get it back in time for my sons Aug 8 private lessons resumption), I still agreed, given my previous experience with the store and the coming holiday weekend. I waited till July 14 and, as nothing happened, I drove again to the store. As I voiced my frustration, a clerk located the estimate ($300! - apparently my bassoon is not one of the brands they routinely service) and brought in a more senior colleague to explain that their store renovation work caused my order to be misplaced. Being cornered due to limited available time, I paid the $300 and informed them I would file a BBB complaint and negative review on the web, so other people can be spared my headache. I declined the offer to have my repair completed within a couple of days, I was already painfully aware of this term meaning at this business. Short of a repair related issue, last time using this business.
