So, where to begin, this is the second time I’ve rated this place 1 star. I first got my apnea machine about 4 years ago. Person came to my house to “set up” my machine. They didn’t have the right mask size so I was told just to make do. Using a nose piece that doesn’t fit right causes chafing inside the nostrils which quickly got infected. Had to deal with that. The machine itself whenever water was added to the tank, any amount of water, it sprayed up the hose and in essence water boarded me all night. Called multiple times to get this fixed. Was told the machine was working on their end. Finally wrote a one star review and suddenly I’m on the phone getting the right size mask. They reset the machine which didn’t fix the water issue at all. Call again and still get the same run around that there’s no issues on their end. I’ve had the same filter in the machine since I got it because I was told that replacements were given to me when I got the machine. Guess I’m supposed to just “make do” there as well. Now I call because there’s a recall on their machine and get told that firstly, Im a new customer because they don’t have me listed in their system and secondly, I need to get ahold of Phillip’s to get a new machine. When there’s a recall on my truck I don’t take it to GM I take it to the dealership I got it from. They have just awful customer service and if I can I plan on trying to get another business to provide my machine.
We had a great experience today with Nichole. She went through every part of the BiPAP machine and explained everything until I knew how to set it up and use it. She answered all our questions and asked her own to make sure we understood the settings and features.She was clear, thorough, patient, and personable.
I had a great appointment with Nicole in Whitmore Lake. She was very friendly, and explained everything I needed to know in a clear, understandable way. You can tell theres a little bit of science education in her background. We also had some fun joking with each other, which made it a really happy experience. Nicole knows her stuff, and is fun to be around. A+

From the nice lady who scheduled my appointment to the lady who let me in for my appointment (darn COVID) to Dan who did my orientation to my new equipment and answered MANY questions I had about insurance, compliance, equipment care, and traveling with my new machine... everything was top notch! Dan came to my home with professionalismand safety in mind he wore his mask through out the visit . He shared with me his own experience with his cpap machine which made me feel better about the machine. If all of the employees are like Dan you have an excellent business. I received courteous and thorough service in my introduction to a new PAP machine. They were able to walk me through setting up, using and maintaining the machine, even while maintaining the necessary protections needed in the current pandemic. They listened and took whatever time I needed to be comfortable, including trying on different masks for several minutes to see how each felt. I had no idea what this was going to entail but I felt very reassured by the end of the session. Thank you, Dan!

This vendor was very good at staying in touch as at the time of service I was still in the hospital. The initial phone call was timely and extremely helpful. They came to my bedside because we could not arrange a home visit in time. The therapist was on time and very courteous in the orientation. So far I have not had to worry about a thing. I had a wonderful nights sleep with my new mask.The customer service and appreciation that I have received from each person that I have encountered at Sleep Solutions is greatly appreciated....and unfortunately not as common these days. Perfect experience with Sleep Solutions. They were very responsive, knowledgeable, helpful and even did great follow-up. My order was right on time and just as ordered, which seems obvious, but too often with other companies it doesnt go so well. If I ever do have an issue, I am 100% confident that they will solve it.

My husband had the appointment. Due to COVID I could not go in. We were early for our appointment and in and out before our actual appointment time. I was told ahead of time I could. Or come in so I was aware of this before hand. My husband came out very pleased with the help he received from Dan. He felt Like Dan was listening to him and understood the issues he was having with his mask. Dan fitted him with a new nasal mask that he was very pleased with him feels it will help him with the machine.
The entire process was simple and easy. From insurance, to appointment set-up, to the office coaching from David, to finally the in home set-up on my part. David answered all the questions I had, which made in home set-up and use simple to use.... Great Job Sleep Solutions!
Todd shared the details of the CPAP device. His extensive experience with the devices was obvious. I had none and he helped me document important information to ensure the device will work correctly. That made the session very valuable and very appreciated.

He also helped me try all 3 types of mask so that I can select the one that I was most comfortable with. I really appreciate his patience and skill in helping me with my CPAP device.

Amy is very professional, helpful and personable when she comes to check my ventilator and cough assist machine. She always checks the settings on my equipment and provides feedback on using it effectively. She also monitors my oxygen level and it is reassuring to know my breathing capacity is hanging around in a normal range.

If you have difficulty finding the right mask, Sleep Solutions is not the place to go! They were very unfriendly to me. My particular circumstance was the last straw.Apparently, they had decided not to carry the cushion/mask combination that I was using. They called tell me that it had been discontinued only days before I needed a new cushion. They gave me an option of what they considered a close match or I could come in for a fitting. Since they were in Troy which is an hour drive for me and I need a new cushion within days, I really had no option but to try the mask/cushion that they considered comparable. After receiving it, I struggled trying to make work but to no avail. It did not fit properly! I finally called to see if I could come in and look at replacements and made an appointment to go in for a fitting. During the conversation when I expressed my deep disappointment at the mask I was given and how much superior the previous mask had been, it came out that the mask it not been discontinued by the manufacturer, but it had been discontinued by Sleep Solutions. I was very upset to learn that! I expressed my displeasure to them for not previously explaining this.The day of the appointment, I found that they had canceled my appointment. When I talked to their support personnel they said that they required a payment before I could come to an appointment and furthermore because I would require a new mask I would have to pay for that well. Their position was because I had agreed to take the replacement mask/cushion I have agreed to that payment and the insurance would not cover an additional mask. Of course, they are intimately familiar with the difference between a mask and a cushion and I am only now fluent with the differences. But, the bottom line is they took no responsibility in the transition in trying to help me find a substitute. It would have been responsible to give me a significant advance warning that they were going to discontinue a product so I could explore alternatives, but they chose not to for whatever reason probably profit oriented! I Appreciate and respect a company wanted to maximize their profits because I believe in a capitalist system, but I believe it should not be done at the expense of their customers and the pain they have caused me by cutting me off or holding me hostage to payment of a couple of hundred dollars and my time can only be countered by spreading the word of caution if you are a square peg because they only have round holes.BTW, I also had similar difficult finding your original mask that I used and was happy with. I should have taken my difficulties then as a warning. I have chosen to use Binsons as an alternative. I will report back as to my experiences with them. Switching suppliers is not a simple task so it is probably wise to choose a quality supplier from the start and again I would avoid Sleep Solutions if at all possible!
Worst customer service ever. Was told by staff member I would not have any out of pocket expense, only to get a bill for $150, 30 days later. They admitted it was their employee’s error/“misquote” but will not take responsibility for it. I contacted my medical insurance provider and they agreed that it was Sleep Solutions employee’s error and can not believe they will not take care of the $150 balance. I would highly recommend you seek other options before receiving and medical supply from Sleep Solutions, before you receive a bill 30 days later for an “error” they make, but hold you responsible for.
Chris was my tech back in November, 2018. He did an excellent job despite the limited selection of masks and headgear. Today, however, Eric was my tech and he also did a very fine job, too. I was refitted with a smaller cushion which felt much more comfortable and eliminated air leaks I had been experiencing.
