Absolutely the worst pharmacy in the entire world. That would include 3rd world countries. It takes them days to fill a single prescription. The incompetence of the entire pharmacy staff is incredible. If you have a child who is sick in urgent need of antibiotics as an example; you will not get it the same day.
What an absolutely incompetent, they are by far the worst pharmacy ever. Mess up rxs and they are nothing but rude.. Incompetent .Oh
Yes they take a long time to pick up the phone, but other than that theyve been pretty great. I dont think they deserve a 2 star rating just because they take their time. Ive never been mistreated there and I always get my medication in a timely manner. Its always ready when I go to pick up.
Waiting an hour on the phone on hold to speak to a pharmacy staff member after two phone calls into the pharmacy is unacceptable! People need to be able to speak to someone in that department as they are the ones distributing our medicine!
Always have an issue at this location when it comes to prescriptions. Staff is rude and seems to just not care, asked for my information for a refill and faked writing it down and didn’t even attempt to put the order in the system, phone is never picked up. If there’s a zero star rating I would’ve picked that.
I would give negative stars if I could. Avoid the aggravation and use a different pharmacy. Bought out the small guys (Trumbull Pharmacy who were excellent) to not be able to deliver. Extremely long waits for medication. One med ordered 3 days earlier still not ready for pickup “short staffed and very busy”. Today went for prednisone - waited 45 mins. Was told it would be 15. Then told there is only one pharmacist and she was giving covid shots. Told me if I came inside it would be filled quicker (what sense does that make?). Told to pull around again (which I’ve been told pretty much any time I’ve gone). Horrible service. Staff is constantly making excuses. Today’s pharmacist was rude - can’t speak for all. I was told today by staff that corporate only staffs 1 pharmacist at a time and the staff there are upset by it as well. So I called corporate and asked about staffing. Was told it’s determined by the individual store - not on a corporate level. In any event, I’m done with them. Transferring my scripts to Medical Arts Pharmacy in Trumbull.
Dont ever try calling them. I have tried on several occasions to call ahead and they NEVER pick up the phone. Minimum Ive waited is 15 minutes, maximum Ive waited is 45 minutes. When Ive gone to the actual pharmacy and as Im waiting in line there are 6 calls on hold (says it out loud so the employees can hear) and Ive never seen anyone pick up the phone. Not once. Absolutely ridiculous.
I came to give a one-star review and see all the other reviews for the exact same reason. Just stay away.
In 2021 they cannot make a picture for documents in digital version and send it to email or memory card.
By far, Trumbull CVS is one of the worst. Called to check on a prescription refill and was on hold for 25 minutes, simply waiting for pharmacy to pick up the phone. They made no apologies and the script that was submitted the day before, was still not ready. On top of that, you go to pick up prescription and they have 8 people behind the counter and only 1 servicing customers. This location is completely unorganized, lacks any accountability or customer service.
If there was a way to give 0 star to this pharmacy I would. I called several times to fill a prescription this week and they kept telling me it will be ready the next day and then a week later they told me it was back ordered ... Are they serious ? This has Happened several times at this specific store even in their old location and the only reason I didn’t change pharmacies was their location. You will think that in our town, they will value their customers more . Not even going to get into the phone calls made to this pharmacy, I think everyone have the same complain! I have recently called Hancock and they picked up the phone within seconds ... such a shame ! The whole group should be replaced !
After being a loyal Customer of independent, Trumbull Pharmacy discovered business and customers were sold to CVS Trumbull. As a Trumbull Pharmacy Customer I never had trouble getting my medications on time and if out of stock, they would be ordered for next day. After being forced to go to Trumbull CVS I was told my monthly medications are out of stock and they refused to order for me, stating I would have to wait a full week to get. They made no apologies and could care less that I wouldnt have my necessary prescriptions that Ive been on for years. The pharmacy staff are rude, dismissive and completely unorganized.
I should have believed the 1 star when I saw it... I gave this location 3 chances and every time they let me down... called that prescription was ready, got there and had to wait 25 minutes.... called that other one was ready, got there and they didnt haveenough to fill it ?!?!?!?! Called for price of script, got there and it was way more because they forgot to mention something....Seriously... I rather walk in to Target and use the Westfield location. Much better customer service.
We have had terrible experiences for years at this Hawley Lane location, long wait times, out of stock medications, terrible communication, rude employees etc so we transferred across the street to Target.. the only positive thing I can say is that annual flu shots at the minute clinic are convenient - do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here.. oh and one more thing to mention - after a snowstorm a few years ago the plow job was so bad that I got trapped in a traffic jam for 25 minutes in the parking lot before I was able to finally get out!! now you might think the bad plow job was not their fault but I would point out that the sluggish Rx processing at the pharmacy counter and the crowd of people packed in the waiting area waiting for their Rx, contributed to the chaos..
Although covid is on the decline this store continues to keep its restroom shut to the public .. this store continues to keep its restrooms closed to the public you must cross your legs and hope you dont have to go on top of this when I tried to call to refill a prescription their phone is unavailable this is the worst CVS Ive ever experienced actually the worst pharmacy Ive ever experienced! Will no longer continue to shop here you should do the same and follow my advice
4/23/21: The pharmacy staff have always been helpful and courteous to me. Thank you CVS Pharmacy for all you do.
This, by far, is the worst pharmacy experience in the state. Under-staffed, chronically slow, zero customer service on the phone - the place is less than a year old and an absolute embarrassment!!
The service at the pharmacy is terrible. They dont pick up the phone for customer calls. The pharmacy tech Diane is extremly rude and unprofessional. I asked for the store manager the pharmacist lied right to my face. Said there was no manager there. Then after I insisted, what do you know a manager appeared. Who was just as rude along with being incompetent. Full of excuses such as they are short on staff this excuse and that excuse. My issue is why are there three people working in the pharmacy. One waiting on customers the pharmacist and the person standing there looking around instead of helping customers. This is a brand new store that is three times the size as the other location. I dont know where the disconnect is, but if you increase your sq footage you may need more staff to accomodate the increase in customers.
I was just in to pick up some cream for poison ivy. A Blonde associate behind the pharmacy station was a little snappy about my worry and kept telling me I probably have washed my face a million times already- So there is nothing I could do at this point to prevent it. The second associate listened to me, helped me, and gave me her honest opinion. She realized I probably got it today- meaning I havent washed my face yet.Its the grand opening of the new CVS here in Trumbull. Big thanks to the girl in blue scrubs who helps me today.
The last couple of days have been very disappointing. I had a coupon for dove soap the 6pk one and they didnt have it in stock. The next day I was waiting in line for my turn and I ask for a receipt and one of the cashiers didnt gave it to me so I waited to long and I left.
I want to commend Sofia and Jackie, who went above and beyond in contacting my prescription company to resolve an issue I was having with coverage for two days. This was my first time dealing with Jackie who was very helpful in assisting Sofia, who always goes above and beyond with a smile on her face. She refused to give up until the issue was resolved.CVS should be very thankful that they employ these wonderful young ladies and they should be recognized. Thanks for all you do!
I have been on hold for 35 minutes and then hung up on! Horrible pharmacy
Horrific experience! The pharmacist Jen Singlasov and Sophia are grossly incompetent. They lied about a prescription being ready for my child. They made me return to the store multiple times, saying it was ready and in hand, but when I got here they said it was out of stock.Their behavior was shameful. The pharmacist would not apologize and told me to try another store. How the pharmacist continues to treat customers and have a job I will not know. Sophia is incompetent and should not be working in a pharmacy. I have contacted CVS customer service. They need to be fired or formally reprimanded for this!
Going on hour and a half of waiting for the pharmacy...
Terrible experience today.Credit/debit transaction machine didn’t work even I tried 3 times. I waisted 15 minutes standing at the cashier and keep swiping the card and waiting for error to come up each time.Second thing: cashier said how bad she is feeling she have to go to ER...I left, it was too much...I just wonder where was management?Went to Target 🎯 👍
Horrible service. Nobody ever answers the phone, pharmacy staff is rude and does not acknowledge you at all. Definitely will avoid the pharmacy as much as possible in the future.
Incompetent cashiers. Had coupons that I received in the mail and was told they didn’t match my CVS card that I’ve been using for 15 years. Took over 10 minutes going over and over the same thing. I walked out empty handed
Horrible customer service. I get the same prescription sent to my house twice, which i did not ask for the second one and they refuse to take it back. How do they not know what they are sending out, and now they can just force you the charges on you. Everyone should get off their automatic refill, just an excuse to take your money
This cvs pharmacy is the worst. Called in a refill I scheduled to pick up next day. I was told the next day my script was not ready due to my doctor needed to be called for a refill. Went back two days later was told doctor had not called them. I finally called my doctors office and was told, we called them 5 days ago. In total waited 7 days for my script. No apology, nothing.
This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. You better pray you don’t have to call with a question because you will be on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes each and every time. I take multiple medications and more months than not they are out of one or more meds. These are common medications too. I wish someone had told me how disastrous this place was before I had my prescriptions sent here. I can’t wait to move them to another pharmacy. Horrible. Don’t go.
No complains here... The phone was answered right away. The wait time was minimum. I couldnt be more pleased with the service I was provided.
This is one if not the worst CVS pharmacy in Connecticut. On Thanksgiving day I had a family emergency and called them and was placed on hold for over 10-minutes before hanging up. I checked their website and noticed that they were open from 8am-9pm.I called back again with no one picking up the phone! Very upset and will be changing my pharmacy despite having to travel 5-miles away to another location.
This is been an onging issues with this store: long wait times for call ins which can get very frustrating especially when your cell phone is only 1/3 charged. This Thanksgiving I wasnt sure if they were open so I called in and waited over 10-minutes the first call in before I hung up to check their website about holiday hours. The CVS website stated that they were open from 8am to 9pm.I called in a second time but this time after being reassured by their automated answering service that someone will be with you shortly I decided to get into my car in my bathrobe to investigate by paying the pharmacy a visit.During my drive to the store I had my cellphone on speaker listening to this same message over and over and noticing that Ive been now on hold for over 15-minutes!I was suprised to find 3-CVS empoyees standing around with NO store customers in the small store.I asked them to listen to my cellphone which was still on speaker.I asked them why they were not picking up the phone for the pharmacy and letting customers know that they were closed. One of the two female employees stated that they couldnt get into the pharmacy area to pick up the phone.I told them that they should have transferred all the incoming calls to the front desk to alert customers but they had NO response to this suggestion. The 3rd employee, a very rude guy, came over and was making some stupid remarks about wanting me to redesign the stores website to put up notifications.I ended up leaving very angry with the store managers name Jen to call with my complaint. It should be noted that I made repeated complaints to other store empoyees regarding the long telephone wait times but I guess that has been ignored. My next complaint will be to the BBB of Connecticut and the CEO of CVS pharmacy.Do yourself a favor and save time and aggravation and do business with another pharmacy. If I could give them a nagative one star rating, I would! No customer should be subjected to this kind of service.
Slow slow slow, long line very small store. Switching to another place
Great country store
The place is very small!
BEWARE! I came in for a $24 rapid covid test and they instead sold me a $133 mail in your result test kit. When I realized it was not rapid, I tried to return it and was informed that it was non-refundable. No warning, no are you sure this is what youre looking for? Theyre happy to sell a completely non-refundable product that is more than 5x more expensive than the one youre looking for. You bought it by mistake? Sorry, You should have read that box we handed you at the cash register before purchasing it! The product was unopened, clearly someone could buy it again, but NO, no exceptions. Why sell a product which is exorbitantly priced, completely useless, and is completely non-refundable by design??? Its a scam! Why pay $130 to mail our your result when you can get a covid test for free from a CVS and get your result in a day? SCAM!!!
