I needed to speak to the bakery guy and he was very helpful. They have prettymuch all you could need. Fresh vegetables, meat and wine and liquor.

Good store!!!! Have normal groceries and also some products one would not expect. They seem to pay attention to what costumers are looking for and try to get specialty items as well as regular grocery store items. For example Monchego cheese and Spelt flower, are usually not at a lot of small grocery stores but you can find these things at Bullocks.

This is an awesome smaller grocery store. There hasnt been one thing that they dont carry and its saved me from having to enter the dreaded W store. And! The prices are just as good as the big stores. The meat department has the best streaks, and the liquor department has a great selection too. So grateful for this gem of a store smack dab in T or C. Kudos to owner and staff. ❤❤❤

9/4/21: People allowed to shop without masks. Cashier wearing mask with nose uncovered. Great rain outside but it certainly didnt seem to lift her spirits. Tuesday 9/7 EXACTLY the same situation. The person with mask down around her mouth doesnt get or doesnt care that the location of the virus is in the nose.

Paper or plastic? When is the last time you heard that question. From the old school shopping carts to the great low prices on your everyday groceries. They have a meat department, fresh donuts daily, liquor and great beer selections. Nice friendly cashiers.

This is a perfect place to shop for food if you are visiting. It has the small town grocery store feeling I remember as a child. The store is well organized and way better than the big blue store on the hill... The cashier was awesome and everyone is super friendly.

Great small-town grocery store in downtown T or C. Sometimes the prices are a little high, but its so nice not to have to drive across town to shop one of the other (limited) places. Check the stores sale flyer every week to find the bargains, and theres a reduced for quick sale bread rack near the front of the store.

Bullocks is a great place to go. If you are looking for a certain item that you cant find anywhere else, try Bullocks. For some reason youre almost guaranteed to find it here.

Ive just moved here from northern NM and filled my shelves with groceries from Bullocks. I wont shop anywhere else unless I absolutely have no choice. Thanks Bullocks! Love the 🍩🍪🍰!!

Some items fare priced others Walmart far more less ànd fresher. Asked 2 people who work there where to find something and neither could find it. While looking for another thing I found what they couldnt find by accident. Outside of that not a bad place to shop

One of the most amazing Little Debbie displays I have seen.

Very lousy customer service but they did have an unusual selection of good wines. Shame their cashiers werent as good as the wines.

Expensive, everything is 2 to 3 times higher then most grocery stores. $4.39 for quart of chocolate milk, Gatorade is over $3.00 for 32 ozEmployees are great people, really good bakery

They are Not dog friendly. The WalMart here is. Price point for products very high. Employees were friendly. Management and GM not friendly at all. Thats too bad

Hometown grocer with some joyfully unexpected specialty items, excellent beer and decent wine and liquor products, and donut discounts end of day!

Generous and gracious service. Clean store. Selection can be a bit hit or miss at times and can be fairly pricey, but this store has items that can only be found at this store in the Elephant Butte Area.Would recommend.

Extensive groceries & food products including food to go. Wide liquor selection, plenty of parking and easy to spot location.

Now, this grocery store is so much better than any other grocery store, ever. The produce and butcher departments are the crown jewels. But not to mention the fact that the ailes and shelves are plum full of goodies, both normal food and niche foods for all of you picky eaters. Bullocks has been THE PLACE for many years and shall and will remain the One and Only. ROCK-ON BULLOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Expensive on most items, but their Food Club products are usually a good buy. Its right across the street, and they have some stuff Wally doesnt, like bulk coffee and a grinder.

Great place to shop. Friendly and helpful staff. They sack my groceries and load it in my car. Ive been shopping there for over 30 years. They cut meat and grind hamburger so I know its always fresh.

Great neighborhood little store. Stock hard to find grocery items along with common goods. Liquor section is outstanding for a neighborhood store....wonderful selection of craft beers and top shelf liquors. Good meat/butcher section. In-store bakery. Fresh produce. Its a feel good place to shop in the heart of T or C historic district. I urge everyone to support this local gem instead of the run-of-the-mill big shopping store a few miles north.

Bullocks has been apart of the community for over 38 yrs and counting. They have a fresh meat area that they will cut to order.

Good meat market and they also have the best supply of booze in T or C - and the prices are as good as Wal-Mart.

I would think, since they cant compete with Wal-Mart on prices, they should work a little more on friendly employees and great customer service. Especially on the registers. The best, nicest people dont seem to stick around. The lady today 8/11/21 made a sarcastic comment about having to work with the public

This this grocery store is the best experience Ive had in years. The meat section is fabulous, it is always fresh and you can feel confident that youre getting a good value and a good meat. The two things that I have questions about...when you come in and you dont want to use a cart, the hand baskets are on the side of the out door. Why not put the hand baskets on the side of the in door? Also, I am in a wheelchair, the checkouts, except for the first are very narrow and cannot I cannot get the wheelchair through to check out. So I have to go all the way around to be able to use my card. I cant see to use my card and its a big inconvenience. Why not just keep the number one open for wheelchairs?All the staff I have dealt with give 110 percent. They are great and so helpful.

I love Bullocks! The staff is efficient and helpful. The Meat Department and Liquor Departments are amazing! And, if I cannot find what I need, they will order it for me. Best of all, Bullocks is an exemplary community business, supporting the local nonprofits and delivering to those who cannot get there. Truth or Consequences is lucky to have this store.

Update: 9/23/20 - It is disturbing to still see Bullocks employees, even cashiers, wearing masks not covering their noses. And people are being admitted again maskless. It is not unrealistic to expect an uptick in cases in the fall. It is already happening in some states. One of the few places in T or C our most vulnerable seniors attend regularly, and thus the most likely place to become infected, is Bullocks. Think about it! Wake up Bullocks management.

Going to Bullocks was like a little step back in time. It was an awesome little small town grocery store. Everyone knew each other of course, and the decor of he place felt like the nineties. They had everything you could need, and an extensive alchohol section. I enjoyed walking around and shopping here, and came back several times throughout my week long visit.

Recommended to use while vacationing at Riverbend by the owners. I was very happy we did! They carry everything you’ll need! They even had specialty items like sourdough bread you bake & clam chowder from Maine!!! Wonderful alcohol selection. Best in the town! Friendly workers and a great sanitation station because of covid-19. We will definitely only shop here when we visit Riverbend Hot Springs again!!
