She also helped us sort out availability which was important to us on a couple of pieces. We were a little disappointed in price and delivery times (why only 4 stars), but its not a complete surprise given the market situation in 2021.

I was greeted upon entering the store. Very nice. When asked if I was looking for anything in particular, I responded, a recliner. I also shared I was looking for a lower price recliner due to my budget. Scott helped me by showing me lower cost chairs, and commented on finding the right fit for comfort. Very helpful. I saw one chair that I thought would work, but he encouraged me to look through the store and let him know if I had any questions. I walked around and went into the Clearance room. I finally decided to buy my first recliner last week from La-Z-Boy on Nyberg Rd. in Tualatin, Oregon during their Labor Day Sale. Once inside their showroom I was greeted by Michelle. You know how you can tell when a salesperson is fake? This lady was genuine and down to earth. She must also have a sixth sense because the first chair she offered to me to try is the one I kept returning to, and eventually bought. She showed me a lot of chairs and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I chose the Morrison leather wall recliner. My purchase experience was a pleasure and I will recommend this store to everyone.The delivery staff arrived at my home on time yesterday as scheduled, and they were efficient, professional, and friendly. My interaction with them was brief, but no less pleasant.Now for the chair itself: I have been suffering from back pain for years after an injury, and oftentimes I dont sleep well. I spent my day moving today, so I was extra sore on top of the normal misery. I sat down, pulled the lever into full recline, and wanted to cry because this chair took the pressure completely away. I know it will be different for everyone, but in my case, my chair puts me in the perfect position to neutralize my back. As I write this, I just woke up from a good ten hours of unexpected pain-free sleep. I sincerely cant remember the last time that happened. I love my chair. I do have one huge regret -- why on earth did I wait so long???

Looking for modern line recliner. Several options with upgrade options. Would definitely go with the gel cushion upgrade. Pretty busy, but Herb was very helpful.

My Store Designer, Marc Miller, was great and deserves a 5-star rating. His help not only in-store but also in-home design was the best. He had wonderful ideas, listened carefully to my likes/dislikes and came up with with a very pleasing final outcome. The quality of products to choose from was superb. The reason for a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star had nothing to do with Marc. The factors that detracted from the highest rating: lengthy delays in delivery of ordered items, and company policy not to assist customer in removing my old furniture items that I was replacing with LazyBoy items. That policy seems out-of-sync with the otherwise emphasis on delighting the customer.

Herb was very helpful as we selected a new recliner. Answered all of our questions and obviously knew the products and services provided by Lazy Boy. Made our shopping experience easy. Will come back again when we are ready to purchase a sofa. Thank you Herb!

Great service all around. Recliner delivered less than 7 days after purchase which is kind of unheard of these days. The delivery was great, multiple updates and a tracking service that allows us to watch the progression of the drivers. Our delivery team was great. I believe one of them was names James, sorry I forget his partners name. They worked fast!

Herb at the Tualatin La-Z-Boy has made the whole process easier, even though he has had to deliver disappointing news about ETA for our chair. The delayed arrival is clearly not his fault and he is in a difficult position. His cheerful and pleasant manner has made it much easier to accept.

Good salesman. No pressure. I got what I wanted at less than I expected to pay. Delivery was easily within the time promised. The deliverymen had to climb my steep driveway and then two flights of stairs to put in my den on the second floor. They were cheerful and in the house less than two minutes. Great service!

La-z-boy’s delivery system is awesome! It lets you know exactly what the progress is and when they will arrive. My new sleeper sofa is beautiful and so comfortable to sit on. I haven’t slept on it yet, but I’m expecting it to be great, too!

It was extremely busy with customers and he took the time to acknowledge us and offer his assistance while helping other customers. Scott would check with us periodically but being not be overbearing in pressuring us to make a purchase. With Scott’s suggestions and assistance, we decided to make our purchase. When I called the store in advance of delivery to determine the number of legs on our product so we could have foot pads ready for delivery staff, I was told there would be 4. When delivery staff arrived they said there were actually 12. Instead of making that my problem, delivery staff quickly jumped in to help me quickly use my pad material to cover the 12 legs. As a senior recovering from a stroke, these delivery staff were life savers. I would probably not been able to use my new furniture until I got someone to help me turn it over to put extra pads on. I was so very pleased with your staff assistance to solve this problem immediately and allow me to use my new recliners immediately. Thank you for hiring such excellent staff. I would be glad to recommend them to others.

My husband has had a leather La-Z-Boy recliner for over ten years. The quality and comfort is the best but now it would be helpful to change the base to one that is a little taller. Arthritis makes it more difficult to exit the chair and we inquired about how to accomplish this. I must admit there seemed to be miscommunication to that end but were finally connected to their Service Center and spoke with Janet. Once our needs were understood she totally followed the process and now we have a chair base more appropriate .She even scheduled one of their Team Members to install it at our home for us. A BIG THANK YOU. Over the years most of our chairs and couches have been La-Z-Boy and I will continue to highly recommend them.

I had such a wonderful experience with the La-Z-Boy staff! My sales person was absolutely the best. I typically have no patience for sales people. But the gentleman who helped me was so sweet and helpful. My recliner was delivered on time and was a swift interaction. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and my new chair. A+ all the way!

I did appreciate shopping at the Tualatin store today. My only downside was fabric choices for one chair we ordered. Then we spoke with another salesman that showed us alternate choices we were not originally made aware of. The cost was a bit more as it was not a bulk buy fabric in our style of chair. No matter. The store manager changed our order once we learned that any material can be used on any piece of furniture, not just what was on the items fabric choice card. All said and done, we purchased chairs that will match and are extremely happy about it!!!! The 4 stars was simply because we were not told of the wide array of alternatives for fabric coverings.

After a five-month wait, my beautiful La-Z-Boy rocking recliner finally arrived today. The delivery man was AWESOME. The delivery came more than an hour earlier than expected (which I did get a heads-up call about) and it took maybe ten minutes for the chair to be delivered and for me to be shown, for example, where to make an adjustment for the rigidity of the back piece insofar as how easy or hard it is to recline. He dismantled my old 1991 leather La-Z-Boy for me in about a minute. That chair is still the best chair I’ve EVER sat in so I’m keeping it! Very pleased with the super nice, respectful gentlemen who delivered my chair and very pleased with my comfy, comfy chair. I will say, however, that the one main difference between my old leather La-Z-Boy and this new one is that the leg rest on the new chair doesn’t go as high as the leg rest on my old chair unless you are in a reclining position. You don’t have to recline that far in the old La-Z-Boy to get a good elevation for your legs.

We spent quite a bit of time narrowing down the choices, testing different styles, etc. We settled on two, and are pretty pleased with our final choice. Herb [and the rest of the staff] was great. Answered all of our questions, not pushy, left us alone when we needed to discuss. When I had questions he not only answered them but offered other seats to try or to compare. It was a really great experience, and even though we have to wait awhile [thanks Covid!] I am really happy with our choice.
