Do Not Expect Your Schedule Appointment to be Made - I would give a Zero rating if I couldHi, my experience with Brake Masters was not a good one. I really like the ability to schedule an appointment to get my oil changed online. Very cool feature. However, when you get to the shop and the employee, who appeared to be the manager, had no clue that he had an appointment for an oil change was very disappointing. Not to mention that the shop was full with vehicles and understaffed. There did not seem to be any activity of vehicles being worked on in the shop. It appeared the vehicles had been sitting in their states of disrepair for days and no one was working on getting anything fixed. Not sure if there were a lot of people who called out sick today or if there are just not enough employees to fill the work load for the shop. I am still not sure about the gentleman who assisted me at the front desk. I was not sure if he was just too stressed because he had too much work or if he was just very inconvenienced by my expectation of having my oil changed at the appointment time I was able to set up. I am hoping it was the first and he was having a rough day. But I would strongly suggest turning off the appointment if the shop is not able to meet the demand of the work load. Sorry my first experience and last experience was so unfortunate.

Was promised lifetime brakes with no cost to me at initial appointment.Came back 15 months later with awful grinding.I was told they would take care of it under warranty.Today, new staff,, They said that I would not have to pay labor.Labor happens to be the exact same amount as their special installing a complete set of brakes.They made a verbal promise and did not uphold it be very careful.

They fix my AC $202. Need to recharge disposal of old materials and they said theyll check it the week to double-check the league. Quick service by appointment.

Called in advance for a change of brake pads estimate they told me to just stop by when I do (different locations than I called ) I called Houghton location because that’s where I was near to early in the day but at 4:30 I was on 22nd and this is where an old man manager I’m assuming he wore a white long sleeve was unnecessarily rude . I pull up smiling to the area that is vacant (it’s raining ) and this old man is staring me down looking very annoyed. I disregard it and when he finally approached me he asks what I need I say a brake check he says you can’t just pull up like this you need to park and go in the office and I don’t have time right now we close at 5:30 . It’s 4:30 ......... anyway awful service . Another guy tried to smooth it over but wow .

Showed up for 930 appt I made by ph 2 days earluer.I wasnt in schedule older guy at front desk on the ph for 10 min trying to get customer to agree to air conditioner repair etc.They are too busy to help you, they want to sell expensive repairs only.Dont go there for oil change its a racket.I went to big O for $16.95

Good time, took about 1 hour with a appointment on Sat morning(always busy!). I have 15 year of mechanic experience, but I dont do tire alignment and they did everything that needed to be done.

I was given an appointment then was skipped and had to wait longer, the older man Roger at the desk did not seemed concerned, but it was not suprising. He asks customers to give their name, address, and phone number where everyone in the waiting room can hear. He also told a lady who took her car in because her son had acidently damaged a wheel, to tell him to stop texting. Miscommunication and mix up of how to get my car returned, and when I was leaving he said dont get in trouble with that car, as if... Inappropriate and lacks customer service skills.

I needed an inspection. This particular location promised to inspect the car ASAP prior to arrival on the phone and kept me waiting once there with no update or desire to give info on when they would check the car.Don’t go to this location. They are negligent.

I have a bad experience with the services in general they should tell you before they do the work or mess is an electrical connection it seems done for someone who dont have experience and they still charge for a professional work. Ill upload a picture very bad services I paid them for this work a few months ago and now I have to pay again and they just glue my cables I cant believe it.

They diagnosed the reason for my dash brake light to be nothing more than dirt on the pads. Told me my brakes were safe, no repairs or parts needed, and that a power wash would take care of it. They were friendly, professional, timely, and HONEST! There was no charge for their service. Look no further, go to Brake Masters on 22nd. 😃

Already got my full suspension done spent over $1,300 they will continue to have my business thank you very much guys Chrysler 300C feels brand new again for having 205k miles .😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇

They were great. Take some water with you. Did not see any there ( selfserve). In and out, aprox. 35-45 min. For alignment. 50 bucks. All good.

March 16th, 2021-check engine lite,2 fuel pumps, fuel leak, check engine lite every week since. Even went to different BM. After120 miles check engine lite again... now at dealership. Dont go to BM in Tucson. 5/10/21.

Their slogan is correct: an honest brake . They are very professional and did what they said they would and did not try to take advantage of a female customer. Ive used them for over 15 years and recommend them to anyone. Good job guys.

This was the first time coming into a brake masters since I moved to Tucson and they did not disappoint. The customer service experience was amazing Ismael makes sure that each persons experience is always great. Even as Im the one sitting down waiting everyone I saw leave the shop had a smile on their face as they walked out. The level of service I received at the store is miles above what I got at the dealership, Im definitely coming back.

I took my older brother in to get his newly squeaking brakes checkedon his older car. While I was waiting to speak to the service managerthe person in front of us, a mature gentleman, was being told that hedid not have to buy new brakes at this time. He was willing to spend themoney but was told it was not necessary again and would be wasteful.I knew this to be rare treatment at any auto repair facility and got my fullattention. We then got signed up to get our brakes checked and when ithad been done we were told the same thing. Probably just got a little dirt from the rainstorms and the brakes were still more than 50% good.We then asked to get the oil changed while we were there and were soldthe medium priced oil change and were assured it was more then adequate.Because of the friendly, knowledgeable staff and the honest fairtreatment we received I assured them we will be back and recommendthem to other family and friends. Thank you all.Next part of the story is that a few days later I brought my daughterslittle suv in for a much needed brake repair. It had been stuck in her driveway and with a minimum temporary fix we were able to get it inand they immediately found the broken parts, ordered and got them quickly, and, got us out the door safely, reasonably and happily.Once again, thank you to the hardworking technicians and the friendlyhelpful management. All truly appreciated.

I came here to get an alignment after I bought new tires for my jeep. The staff was very friendly and I had my kiddos so I walked right across the street to the McDonalds so they could play while we waited. I got a call to come right back because once the jeep was up in the air they could see how shot the front control arms and bearings were. They didnt want to even have me waste my time/money on an alignment because it would go right back. That to me shows integrity. Then they quoted me a price and told me about their finance plan and I left there and tried to get accepted for financing unfortunately I wasnt due to my credit but they break masters called me a few days later and worked with me by dropping a couple hundred off the price they quoted me. Which the price they quoted me originally was a great price. I know this because I called around to about 5 other shops trying to find a good deal. Then for them to knock a couple hundred off saved my butt. I brought my jeep in @ 8am they had someone ready to drive my kids and I home then they came and picked me up at 12pm-1pm and it was as easy as that. I was very impressed with the service I got. I will be back. Thanks guys.

Honest, trustworthy, and integrity. These three words are extremely important when you’re using any sort of automotive repair shop. I can use these words to describe this shop. I brought my daughters 2007 Saturn in to Brake Masters late in the day because of a road noise coming from here front end. I was afraid the bearings were going out and she travels to San Diego on a regular basis. They did a test drive and full inspection of her car. They didn’t try to sell me something claiming I needed it which I have had in the past from other shops. They let me know that the sound was coming from the tires that we recently installed on her car, and that here brakes and her bearing were just fine. I want to thank Alan the manager for going over and above to help us out. We will be coming here from now on.

From Hello he was just the most joyful humble fun guy to chat with. So very helpful. Such great service and fast too! Brought my car in tuesday of last week for a violent wobble happening.... they couldnt find anything wrong and asked me to come back on thursday so a master tech could look at it. Master tech said my axles were wobbling and all motor mounts need to be replaced. They tried to charge me $158.99 each for my axles (same exact part at Merles is $77.00 each) so they tried to charge me 100% mark up on the parts then trues to quote mebookhours on all labor... at $109 per hour!!! THEN I get the parts... take it to a place close to me and find out the axles are FINE! My lower control arms and wheel bearings need to be replaced. Definitely learned to get a 2nd opinion after this situation!!! Wont be returning to this location EVER....save your time and go somewhere else!!!

The manager is extremely awesome but downfall is I think that that he doesnt tell the complete truth about things. When I got my oil change which almost cost me 50 bucks and they said that they checked fluids and the tires. They failed to tell me that my tires are bald which that they are. But he said that he trust that technician and is his very best which Im sure he says that about every situation that arises in question & thats OK you gotta look out for the team but customers come 1st & wouldve been nice if they would have checked that stuff especially for how much I paid.

SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE was done to my truck after a lug was left in my rear brake floating around. Subsequently destroying many parts. NEVER GOING BACK TO 22ND AND KOLB!THANKFULLY the location on Houghton and Old Vail Rd has fantastic management and knowledgeable mechanics. They took care of me and fixed the damage caused by the 22nd location.

Alan manages this shop with excellent! He is personable, professional and accurate with wait times, estimates and operates efficiently.The parking area is very well organized to enter and exit . The mechanics and techs are personable and clean. The safety checks and inspections are very thorough as well.

I highly recommend Brake Masters #103 as they are there to help the customer which is a rarity these days. They did more than expected to get me back on the road safely. Hats off to store #103, Ill be back!

Ripped me off

Never again! I took my car to get the check engine light service, they quickly told me it was the gas cap and reset the light. Then proceeded to tell me these other services were what I really needed to take care of, so trusting them I did. 2 weeks later my engine blew. Ive had good results at other Brake Masters, but this one I will never go back to.

Last week my check engine light came on so I brought it in for a diagnostics and Rick and Al helped me out they were great and explained everything that was going on, got me fixed and out of there. Amazing service! I was SUPER nervous to have to be the one to take my car in to any auto repair shop because I had a really bad and unnecessarily costly experience less than two months ago with my other vehicle somewhere else. That bad experience was NOT at a Brake Masters but I didn’t want my ignorance about vehicles to get me into more trouble again. So I was avoiding having my alignment done, trying to hold off until my boyfriend came back into town and could take it in for me. But, I couldn’t put it off any longer. My boyfriend has taken my other car into this shop before for an alignment and everything went great and he said it would be fine for me to take this car in. He was right! I was greeted by Ismaic and he was very friendly, helpful and answered my questions about timing belts. Alan came to explain exactly what my car needed and also showed me the computerized printouts showing where the issues were exactly. They went above and beyond and went out of their way and made time, when they were clearly busy, to fix something that was bothering me when it wasn’t even the reason for my appointment. I’m super grateful. Both Ismaic and Alan were very personable. I sat there while most of the work was being done and all of their customers seemed just as happy as I was when they left. I didn’t know this was a full service shop, but now that I know, I’ll definitely be back for things other than alignments now.

Honestly, Ive never been to a car repair with such personable staff. I walk in and within 2 minutes, I get a tour of the facility, and Im introduced to all workers on the floor.Alejandro, the manager, has a lot of charisma. Charisma is not a requirement of the job, and often times it can be used to manipulate the customer.I took my car to no less than 3 other dealers, and not only did I get the best deals on the parts I did have fixed, I didnt get thrown around into buying things I didnt need.They removed the oxidation on my rotors for free instead of making me buy more, so they looked brand new. The new brakes were a fraction of the cost of most places, and they did a STELLAR job restoring my headlights.Might be top 5 car repair locations in Tucson, hands down.The only reason I didnt put 5 stars, is because everyone knows the 5 star and 1 star reviews arent always reliable.

Recently was in for work. Al and his crew worked thoroughly and rechecked some recent maintenance I had done. He was attentive and communicative of what to expect for the car and why for current and future work. Will be returning for future work when needed.

I didnt go in personally but my husband called around trying to find decent prices. Over the phone we were quoted just over 100 for the brakes and stuff. Two minutes later my husband went down and said he had a coupon for 35 off a service of 100 or more. The serviceman said ok. At the end we were charged over 100 for the service, including the coupon. The coupon was never mentioned during the phone call so it feels like were were scammed out of 35 more dollars for no reason. If there were other details regarding the coupon we should have been told and as a customer before we had the service done. There was little communication between the services and prices and for that I rate it 1 star.

I have been going to Brake Masters quite a bit over the years. Last month I decided to try out Pep Boys so I could do some shopping in that area. Even tho I made an appointment online they said it was still an hour wait when I arrived. (then why have a slotted time online if not really available?!) They called me after a while to say my $20 oil change was going to cost close to $700 due to an oil pan issue. Jose, from the last Brake Masters I visited, came to the rescue. Jose said they would take care of me because of my loyalty all these years. Im sure he could hear the strain in my voice and couldnt believe how Pep Boys was passing the buck. Also their price quote was about %35 more than what Brake Masters would have charged. Thank you Jose and Brake Masters crew for all their hard work I will NEVER stray again.

I have been their customer for 6 months basically 2 oil changes, however tonight i found I am running low on coolant I got an oil change there last week there is no leaks nothing wrong with the car just that they are in such a hurry they dont even bother to check fluid levels despite what they advertise. To make matters worst, I found 3 dangling vacuum houses that I now have to figure out where they go! seriously cant they just look before calling and saying its ready? Never going back there!

Went to local tire shop, who will remain nameless, stripped lug nut later they were unable to remove. Brake masters hooked up way under wait time quoted for a 3rd of the price so I WILL BE BACK HERE. Guys were nice, service quick and friendly, thanx Chip and Alan. U GUYS ROCK!

Ive come twice to this brake masters. The first time i didnt have much money and needed brake pads and they worked with me. The 2nd time was to get new rotors and they were quick and efficient each time. I didnt wait longer than an hour each time i showed up. Most efficient garage ive been to! On top of this all, i was missing a lugnut on one of my wheels when i showed up and they hooked me up with no issues. They even referred me to a good tireshop nearby that just opened and had good financing options. Every step of the way they were helpful and were efficient and friendly. Thanks guyz!

My vehicle was leaking coolant so I took it over to brake masters 103. Al and Rick were awesome they diagnoaed the problem with my vehicle in just minutes. It turned out I need to have my radiator replaced. Al and Rick both took the time to explained to me what was wrong, what had to be done to fix it, and I was given the total price up front which did not change when it came time to pay. The price I was quoted was indeed the total price. They also had my vehicle back up and running in just 2 hours. I highly recommend Brake Master 103 to anyone needing car repairs. They warrantied out the part for me and installed it for free. So my all around price was amazing! Abusive Prices - Dana you are a Rat 🐀🐀🐀

A few weeks prior to this service, we had our oil changed here as our normal Brake Masters was busy and our schedule was hectic. We figured that the same service you get from one Brake Masters you get from each of them. When performing the oil change, we opted to upgrade to the service which included having the tires rotated as well. A few weeks later we got a flat tire. When I went to change the tire and put the spare on, I found that one of the lug nuts had been cross-threaded as the nut did not want to come off of the bolt. In the process of removing the nut, the bolt had to be broken in order to remove the tire. After getting the tire replaced elsewhere, I called this Brake Master back and told them what had happened. The gentleman on the phone said to bring the car in and they would take care of it. The way this was said led me to believe that they would make the needed repair at no cost to me as they had been the last ones to handle the lug nut and bolt prior to our flat tire. My wife took the car down to them and they fixed it, however they charged her for it. When she asked why we were being charged, she was told that they could not accept responsibility for the cross-threading as I may have cross-threaded it when I removed the tire. Now, I may not be the sharpest crayon in the box, but one thing I know for certain is that you can only cross-thread a nut and bolt when tightening them, not while removing them. I also know that when using pneumatic tools to change tires, it is much easier to accidentally cross-thread a nut and bolt than it is when putting the nut on by hand. I feel that the service we received from Brake Masters was sub-par and I will have to look for a new place to take my business from now on. I know that I have received great service from other Brake Masters, but I have also never had a problem with the service at another one and I fear that should we have another issue, another Brake Master may treat us with the same dis-satisfactory service. The real shame of this is that the part they replaced was less than $10.00 and the service only took ten to fifteen minutes, but they chose to pass the buck of responsibility and have lost a customer over it. Had they done what they implied over the phone and taken care of it for free as they should have, my impression would be one of great satisfaction rather than disdain.

Came in for an Oil change. They say they honor their competitors prices (yeah right). I told the guy Bob behind the counter that Midas has an oil change for 12.99 he looked all over their website to make sure they were not using Valvoline oil so he could not honor the price.
