Of course the old unit died on the hottest day of summer as expected. We paid the gold price for relatively fast (3day) replacement new unit. We asked for some documentation and warranty documents TWICE, and have yet to receive a thing. We did get the Spanish instructions for the new wall thermostat thank you very much. So, do we have any warranty? Was the unit itself actually a NEW unit? Well never know. Its still cranking so six grand later I guess were good. Oh and the quote promised drain connection to the existing drain that never happened. They did stop back briefly to channel the drain water off the slab over to the gravel so I guess?Granted HVAC service during a historic hot August is not easy. Not sure at this point if I would recommend them to friends.

They worked on my non functioning unit in a new house I bought and charged $750, which I had to pay in advance . After they did the work it still didn’t cool properly and was very noisy. They then told me I should have never worked on it in the first place as it was old?It then quit completely 2 weeks later and when I called them I was told they didn’t guarantee their work anyway and they refused to come back out to look at it again - told me to go elsewhere

My air conditioning was not working properly and they had two technicians come out. The first technician did not wear a face covering but replaced a part. I had to call them back several hours later as the AC unit was still not working. They came out the following day . The second tech determined our compressor was not working properly and suggested we needed a whole new unit for over $6000. We had another company give us second opinion and they found two wires had been chewed by pack rats . They were repaired and the AC working great! I find it amazing that two of their technicians came out and either on notice that two wires were chewed down ...you think they would’ve checked that our first. So glad we got a second opinion we will never use Able refrigeration

I have used Able Refrigeration Multiple times in the past 3 years due to the exceptional service!I had splits installed in my home, which reduced my utility bills so much that I added another to the guest house a year later !Just recently I had them install a tankless water heater. They did this at short notice due to a leak in my propane water heater. They worked late to finish the job. I would not hesitate to refer them and to use them for all future services!!Always a job well done!

They were great! Showed up very quickly on a short notice on my part and were done just as fast! The gentlemen Reggie and Ron where very polite and explained everything. I would definitely recommend Able Refrigeration.

I have been using Able Refrigeration since the 1980s and obviously have been more than satisfied with them. My recent experience was, as expected, excellent. They are very thorough, knowledgeable, do the job right the first time and leave the area as good as or better than it was. I highly recommend them. I have used them for my personal residence as well as two business.

The people at Able are great. They go the extra mile to supply super service and keep customers happy. A few have proved short on training, and once or twice it has looked like they were installing new equipment they were not yet familiar with. I notice the business needs a website, and the website should tell us what lines of product they carry so we can check possibilities out beforehand and get us all a better deal.

When we bought our home 9 years ago, the previous owner had used Able Refrigeration. We decided to give them a try as well. After 9 years, I wouldnt recommend anyone else. Theyve always given fair and excellent service and never steered me wrong.

SO SURPRISED THIS HAPPENED TO ME, also very late to this apt, a few weeks ago ABLE REFRIGERATION charged my credit card 800.00 for a part that was needed, for it to be installed a few days later, I changed my mind on the part the very same day, and asked that my credit card could be refunded the 800, so I could go somewhere else, my air condition was down, it was a 107 outside, I was told to turn on some fans until they could get to me next week for the part install. I could see this company was not able to help me immediately, it was already 85 in my house, I was not even offered a portable air-conditioner, so I decided to go to another company.To this day, this company has never refunded my money back on my credit card, I have called and spoke to office staff, my credit card company has also corresponded with this merchant, they refuse to refund my money back, no response at all from this merchant, This is very sad, its fraud, and its steeling. If your looking for honesty here, better think twice. I did find another place, and I was given two portable air conditioners until I could figure things out.

Tech was very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. Purchased a service agreement, no heavy sales tactics. Only issue, tech was about 45 minutes-hour late, with no phone call. Office phone was out due to accident near there office.

This company is top notch! I highly recommend to family and friends. The owner, Ron, is kind, compassionate and generous. Techs are trustworthy and knowledgeable. Office staff is friendly and very helpful. My go to for all my heating and cooling needs.

We replaced our old A/C unit through Able Refrigeration. During the summer months we concluded there seemed to be a problem. We called Able Refrigeration who sent out a crew to investigate. We were impressed with their determination to find the problem and correct it and also impressed with their honesty and integrity. We will continue to use them in the future.

The condensation pump on my air conditioner was plugged up - water backing up in the closet. Called around 3PM and they were there within 3 hours - fixed everything, cleaned up the water - they were great as always. I highly recommend them - have been using them for 22 years - and never once was disappointed.

The installers were very careful of the home and the surrounding environment, of our schedule and of our privacy. They did an excellent job on the installation and we are very happy with both the furnace and the kindness of the installers

I called on a Sunday and they were the only company that answered the phone. They came out the following morning and Reggie did a great job fixing the cooler at my daughters house.

I am very pleased with the HVAC service provided by the Able Refrigeration technicians. The technicians provide notice on each visit and they also describe services rendered after each visit. I would recommend Able Refrigerations HVAC Maintenance Plan.

The heat pump/ac we went with was expensive, but I think we got we paid for! Service was great and the guys who installed went out of their way, staying late to make sure everything was okay. Our only issue was figuring out the new system on the wall--programming didnt work for a couple days but we have it worked out now.

Ron Hull and his crew were knowledgeable and provided expedient and excellent service. I was very impressed.

This refrigerated company is owned by an old man that believes in stealing!!! I was in an apprenticeship program through DES one stop! He was paid 50% of my wages for me to learn Air Conditioning well instead he had me doing remodeling and painting in his rental properties! The end of June he let me go and decided to keep some of my painting tools! Yes I called the Sherriff and it looks like the owner of Able Refrigerations Ron Hull gets away with being a dishonest thief!!! So people Ron Hull is a liar and a thief!! Look into a different company if your already with his company!!!

Very knowledgeable and ethical company who can assess and complete complex alterations as well as simple repairs. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

I called for heater inspection and to look for dead animal in vents.Inspector was extremely rude.Worker did some needed work. He didnt know he was supposed to look for dead animal. He used the flashlight on his phone to look in the one spot he was working.I was told the smell was a sewer leak.I had a plumber come inspect. He found no leaks. He said the smell is gas from the heater. It was a very cold morning, he said it was warm under my home because most my heat is going there.I called for $120 refund I paid for a dead animal search, which was not done properly. And to complain about the rude behavior of their inspector, and the fact that my heating problem was not fixed.I have not received a call back!UPDATEI received a call and email today. They are refunding the $120 plus $100 for my bad experience. I appreciate the attempt to resolve my complaint.

Made a 24hr emergency service call. The temps where 115-118.I was told a tech would be here within the hour. Tech never showedup and repeated calls went unanswered. When a company acceptsthe service and doesnt show up that is just bad business. Receiveda call this morning for the service. 12 hours later. Too top it off thiscompany is located about 4 miles from my home.

Being a new homeowner in Rincon West 55 plus community, which We love being here as We retired out here from Maine.The previous owner of Our park model gave great praise of the loyalty and great service of Able co.So We have had a 2-year service contract and this week I had to call Mia at Able as My heat pump unit was defineately having a mechanical problem. She was very pleasant and professional on the phone, getting My information and scheduled an appointment that day for service .Hobie the tech came out checked out the problem and decided it was a bad fan motor. He had one on truck.but was wrong size. He went right to the warehouse and picked up another one and installed it. I must say I liked Hobie from first meeting.He is top shelf in My book.After motor installed that night. some thing didnt sound right, so I called Mia and She assured Me that whatever had to be done. Hobie was on the way.We talked a bit then He retested the motor and trouble shooted a few more checks, inside with heat gun to registers. checked the thermostat and noticed on back panel control was set for gas.We have all electric unit.the problem was fixed that day and I learned a few pointers on Heat pump as We always had boiler furnaces in Maine.The unit is running fine and I am quite happy knowing i was well taken care of.
