I’m so very confused by the positive reviews of this place. I literally had the worst donut experience of my life here today. Every single donut I bought- 7 or so- was completely inedible. Yes, I went in on a Wednesday at 2pm, and yes, I could tell the donuts weren’t fresh. It would have been nice if they’d had a halfway fresh batch and decent selection available seeing as they’re open until 6pm. Oh well, I thought, I’ve heard rave reviews, I’ll still give them a try, opting for a couple glazed, a couple blueberry, an old fashioned and a sprinkled. Every single one was unsightly and gross. Not just not fresh but bad. The blueberry, usually my favorite, was misshapen and inconsistently baked. The old fashioned was off tasting and cardboard in texture. I could tell the glazed were prob decent fresh but the others were terrible and I sadly ended up throwing the whole box away. To make matters worse, neither employee was wearing a mask or especially friendly, despite the fact that I was the only customer and tipped! Long story short, I’m out $7 and still craving a good donut.

Youngs has a huuuuuge selection of the freshest doughnuts I have ever had. It is affordable and delicious.

I woke up this morning wanting donuts but didnt have time to stop before work. All day I kept thinking about donuts. Stopped at the first donut store on the way home and was so thankful that I was not able to stop at the normal store. These are the best ones I have ever had. So soft and light and just the right amount of sweet. To top it off the lady who was there was so kind. Young will be my new stop.

I’ve been to all the highly reviewed donut shops in Tucson. Young’s is definitely one of the best. If you like apple fritters, you better get there early. They only take cash so be prepared. Can’t go wrong here for a great donut.

We stopped in for donuts and left with donuts and chicken! Both were delicious. The donuts are light and very tasty. I had the maple glaze and the blueberry cake, my grandson had the chocolate twist and a chicken leg. I took chicken tenders home for lunch. The tenders were so moist, lightly breaded, and fried just right. What a great idea to add Broaster Chicken to an already great donut shop!

This place is absolutely awesome! Broasted chicken is the best Ive had in a long time! The lady who works there is very nice & friendly!

Used to take my son here they called him spiderman was a great shop but I recently went back and they wouldnt accept a fifty and just told me to get change and come back. No thats okay if I will take my business where they can break a fifty if there that broke imagine the shortcuts they do when there making donuts. They need to renovate also was extremely dirty and outdated. Better donuts at Walmart anyway

I have been wanting to try this place since I saw it on a list of Tucsons best donuts. Finally that opportunity happened and we popped in around 1:30PM on a Sunday afternoon to grab a dozen.Perhaps because it was in the early afternoon on a Sunday, they had a limited selection. There was still enough of a selection to get a nice variety. The donuts themselves are definitely light and airy, even in the afternoon I thought the taste and quality were on point. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and sweet as well.So why did I give it three stars and not throw down one extra star? Well, the lights were off in this joint, almost like he was trying to save electricity along with the door being wide open and it was in the mid-80s this particular day. By doing this, he was allowing all the little flying critters to come enjoy some of his donuts as well. As we were selecting our donuts -- there were 2 bees and 3 flies inside the case... sampling the goodies. Kinda gross, although I figured it would not deter me from trying this place and their little feet prints would boost my immune system against whatever they brought in from the great outdoors. The guy behind the counter seemed totally unphased by his little freeloaders.

I think they have the best apple fritter. No this is not the fritter but, this ? is really good too. A Nice surprise awaits, you will find an extra dounut. They seem a bit more home made taste.

Ranked best donuts in AZ! Super cheap, with great variety. Cash-only. Not into the weirdest donuts like Voodoo, but easily worth getting a dozen. Really - youll be shocked by the low prices if youve visited top donut places in other states.

Best donuts I have had in Tucson. The apple fritter is still gooey on the inside with appely goodness. Big fan of the strawberry cream cheese croissant and the traditional buttermilk. Totally recommend!

Best place to get donuts in Tucson, hands down. The donuts are fresh, light, sweet, and slightly crispy just the way they should be (not to mention that theyre super cheap!). The owners are friendly, and will add a couple donut holes to your bag just to be nice! I highly recommend Young Donuts, but just remember to bring cash as they dont take cards.

I feel like this place is such a part of Tucson. Whenever I want donuts this is the place. Always delicious and everyones always so nice. I have never had a single bad experience here. The plain glazed? ❤❤❤❤ So good.

I went in here yesterday since I had been wanting some donuts recently and decided to try it. Wont be back, had to get money from the lobby atm since they dont take card. The woman working popped out and saw I was there and went back to the back. I stood at the counter for a good 5 minutes at least waiting for someone to come back out and I decide to just leave. Ill take my money somewhere else with better service. The selection looked pretty regular, like anything I could have gotten at a general food store and like it had been sitting there all day.

Been going here for years, they have fresh baked pastries for great prices. AND they always give samples with your purchase.

In 2019 theres no excuse for not taking any form of electronic payment. The last time I went their ATM wasnt working either so I had no way to pay. I cant patronize an establishment if I dont have a reliable method to pay.

Best traditional donuts i have been eating them for a long time, Zig is a regular 👍, loves the donuts and service. The fact that you can tell they work ALL the time and probably are just barely making ends meet, they are very humble and treat you well, Zig can tell that in their home country this is first class. I read a couple neg reviews about the door open and no ac, yes im sure they dont mind conserving so they dont throw whatever money they have to TEP.. Giv them some biz people and we will get those great donuts in the future and let them take a day off now and then!!! Cash only, they have a atm inside or you and the pretentious can go across the street and buy all the shatty donuts you want at wal-mart with any check, credit card, bitcoin, etc......and cash back!!!

I was hoping for a local donut shop that I could/would support in spite of Dunkin Donuts down the street. Unfortunately, even though this place has cheaper donuts, its not clean at all. The first thing my daughter say when she came in was a fly, flying around in the front glass case. Not a very inspiring site considering that is the case with all of the donuts in there. The floors and tables were also very dirty, and the back light in the kitchen was off, which made the place seem empty and lacking support. The front drink cases had the vent grills missing from the front-bottom sections of the machines so youre staring at the refrigerator coils, and the marquee board above the register looked like something from a 1960s diner. I also saw the owner (I assume it was the owner) wipe her nose with her hand just before retrieving our donuts from the case. I wont be back here.
